DLS LANDSCAPING INC

I did not end up using this company because they do not provide weekly lawn/yard maintenance, but they were kind enough to respond and let me know that they received my call. They did tell me the services they do provide in case I was interested in using them for another service. They showed professionalism in responding to my call and I want to support that excellent service.

They did a nice job. He was a young fellow and was very conscientious. He was very responsive. His crew spoke Spanish and he was here when they got started. I am thinking of using them again. Their price seemed to best out of the companies that I talked to.

I haven't heard from them but that does not mean they have not called. I need to call them back.

I don’t remember how much I spent. It was a fair amount. They have good prices. The workers are hard workers and they do a good job. I would use their services again in the future.

They were a little bit on the high side. Everything was an A+.

Everything went very well. Dave came out and gave a thorough estimate and stuck to our budget. The patio they repair looks great and the fix is permanent so I won't have this problem again in 8 yrs from now. BTW, Dave was not the original installer of my brick patio, he just was called upon to fix it. It was a big job bec they had to tear down quite a bit of the perimeter and my brick pillars. They power washed the entire surface and put down new sand/grout. The patio looks as nice as it did when I first had it installed. The downspouts look very professional. They installed 5 of them that exit out into the yard. I have a sprinkler system and they told me some of the lines would be cut but they would repair them so that was expected even though I wasn't crazy about cutting them. They put down new sod and it looks good too. Overall, job site is very clean, they picked up after themselves. Professional group to work with and highly recommend.

They were very responsive. I haven't made any final decision; but the guy was very responsive. I pulled them off from Angie's list and found them. They were fairly local, which was one of the reasons and their reviews were good. They don't call back as quickly as I wanted, and mainly because it is due to the season.

Our landscaping needed a big cleanup this spring. It went well, they were quick and efficient. A couple communication snafus, but all in all a good experience.

Everything happened as promised. Dave was courteous, respectful, professional. Good quality work and quite responsive. In the past, with other companies, I have paid more to have my yard aerated. One company had quoted me $135.00 for the same job, which I declined.

They are very prompt, and they do a good job. They are going to do landscaping too.

They did an excellent job and Dave Swanson partiipated as well as supervised the work.

About three weeks later, the areas he sprayed were all brown - the chemical killed all the grass where it was sprayed. I called Dave and he came back out and said he could not understand how that happened because he used the same stuff that was successful earlier. Then Dave did something quite amazing. At no expense to me, he had his workers tear out all the bad areas and replaced them with not dirt and seed, but SOD. There was at least about 700 square feet of sod used. This is what I call extraordinary customer service. I could not be happier with the great lengths that Dave went to correct the error. I highly recommend DLS and Dave Swanson to anyone who wants superior work done.

It was exemplary. Men were on time, did the job quickly, and took away the mess. Nothing was left behind.

Great experience working with Dave Swanson (owner) and DLS. Dave and one of his workers were here for 2 days. They took out 4 dead trees and trimmed up another. DLS was very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely use these guys again.

Dave Swanson and his crew were prompt, professional and very easy to work with throughout the process. His crew cleaned up the areas after every day's work and payed very close attention to detail. Dave checked in regularly with us to make sure we were happy with the progress during the project. I have already recommended DLS to our neighbors and friends and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They do great work!

They came out and basically wanted to change our whole yard. I think they could tell we weren't too keen on what they wanted to do. I was pretty unhappy with the quote. I felt it was overboard for what we needed. I felt that they were trying to sell us more than we needed. They were very nice, but I felt it was going to be way more than we wanted to spend. They never left us a quote. I don't feel like what they were going to do would solve the problem.

I can't say enough good things about Dave Swanson and his crew. My back yard was repaired perfectly after the installation of the sump pump drain pipe and you can't even tell they were there. The yard actually looks better than it did before they came! The next day they came out to do the fall clean-up and my yard looked manicured. There wasn't a leaf to be seen anywhere. I was absolutely thrilled. When another tree chose to dump it's remaining leaves the very next day, Dave sent the crew out again to clear away the remaining leaves. That is absolutely super customer service! Dave is immediately responsive to phone calls and e-mails, and he has most definitely gained a customer for life.I can't recommend him highly enough. We found him here on Angie's list, and he is THE BEST. Thank you so much, Dave! We couldn't be happier!!

He was very nice, informative, and very helpful. He was very prompt and gave me many different options that we can do. I plan on using him in the future.

Throughout the entire process, Dave Swanson (the owner of DLS) kept in constant communication about how things were going, and made sure that any questions or concerns we had were dealt with promptly. (He even came to plant some additional plants that were left over from another job at no cost to us!) The work crews on both jobs worked tirelessly and were extremely courteous. When finished, the front of our house was literally transformed, and the curb appeal improved immensely. We could not be more pleased with the finished results, and would not hesitate to recommend DLS Landscaping to anyone looking for professional landscaping and paving done on a timely and cost-effective manner.

This is a very professional company. The owner, Dave Swanson, was on the job site supervising most of the time. His paperwork was very detailed so I knew everything I was paying for. He conceived a beautiful plan for my landscaping. My only gripe is that Dave and his two workers arrived half a day late and ended up taking two and a half days to do a job that was supposed to be finished in a day. If they had started on time, I think they WOULD have finished in a day.

Overall, was pleased with the quality of work. Very detailed and thorough from submitting a work permit, measuring elevation/grading, installing pipe and cleaning up afterwards. The only complaint I'd have is that it took awhile to eventually get the work scheduled - I had further work I inquired about having done, but did not get a response...perhaps due to limited resources, I don't know.

DLS does great work. They did all my landscaping in 2009. Dave Swanson (owner) is a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

Work was performed last year with intent to use DLS again this year. Tried to contact company at beginning of Spring and company would not return calls. Would not use this firm again. Either they have too much business to service former customers or they are out of business

They were supposed to remove several overgrown flower beds. They did not dig up bulbs and a month later and several of the offending plants are back. The work quality looks ok. Punctuality is a problem. I was told that this would be a "one day" job. It was more of a two wee, off and on ordeal. They came in about $500 over the estimate.

They did a very nice job. They also created an underground piping for the downspouts to relocate to the dry well. The quality was good.
