Description of Work: Removed 7 squirrels from attic space including one trapped inside interior wall. Overall, I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Tenants in a rental house reported hearing an animal in the attic. Critter Control came out and successfully trapped a "very large" raccoon. This is the second time that raccoon have gotten into the attic in the same spot. They refused to close the hole this time since their solution didn't work the last time.

Description of Work: Overall not well! Had mother raccoon and babies in my attic. Critter Control guy came out and screwed cage trap to roof. Caught male raccoon. Came back and tried again & after couple of days caught mother raccoon. Babies were traveling all over my attic and on Friday night of Memorial Day weekend started making a lot of noise and moving all over attic, starting screaming and clawing at my recessed ceiling light fixtures and my ceiling mounted surround sound system. I called Critter Control and they said "Sorry, we don't work weekends or Holidays and can't come out until Tuesday." I asked if they had anyone covering for them they could send. They said NO. I asked if there was someone they could recommend. They said NO. (Not only that, but the Critter Control guy doing the service had been unable to find the babies in my attic after looking a couple of times, so he recommend that we cut holes in my cathedral ceiling to start looking for them! Even though they were mobile and having the run of the whole attic. Can you believe it? I asked if it wouldn't be smarter to set small baited cages in the attic to catch them instead of cutting holes all over my ceiling. The guy told me he'd have to check with his boss!) SO, that Friday night after hanging up from talking to Critter Control I called another Angie's List guy, Carl, from Carl's Wildlife. He apologized he was unable to come out right away that night but was there first thing in the morning and put baited traps in the attic, came back Sunday and Monday. Babies gone, no big deal and charged less than Critter Control. |I called Critter Control guy back today to see if he had removed the screws from my roof and covered holes with tar. He had. He mentioned cutting holes in my ceiling again and when I started to ask him why it wouldn't have been a better idea to use small baited cages he hung up on me. Really RUDE! |If I have any problems again I will call Carl, NOT Critter Control! |

Description of Work: Were hired to come and assess our exterior for potential pest entry. Also reviewed interior. Previous homeowner had neglected some general maintenance to exterior and rotting near eaves. It was cold and we had just had a big snowfall, but technician was willing to come back and review after snow melted. Provided some options to prevent future issues and potential points of entry.

Description of Work: The service person removed a bat from my home quickly and as humanely as possible. The company was very responsive and completed the work within a few hours of my call.

Description of Work: Critter Control arrived on schedule and the representative was professional and informative. He placed exterminators in the areas where the voles were present and advised me to check the areas again in 3 weeks to see if there was any more activity. I did find a dead vole a few weeks later so apparently things were working - Voles do not like daylight. Unfortunately I couldn't check any more because of the snow. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Description of Work: Set baited "humane" trap to catch a family of skunks that had taken up residence under a shed. I took about 2 weeks to catch the first youngster (there was a family of 5 - mom and 4 babies). I rebaited the trap per instructions from the service tech. About a week later we caught two raccoons and finally a squirrel. After each trapping the service tech arrived promptly to remove the trap and animal. I would definitely use Critter Control again. I also boarded up the base of the shed....

Description of Work: Adam closed the opening where squirrels were entering my attic. I've had no problems since. This company is thorough, prompt and sympathetic regarding your "critter" problem. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: HEARD ANIMAL NOISES IN ATTIC. TURNED OUT TO BE JUST MICE. CRITTER CONTROL PLACED POISON TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. LATER THE FOLLOWING WEEK, HAD INFESTATION OF BEES. CRITTER CONTROL FOUND THE NESTS AND EXTERMINATED THEM.

Description of Work: THE GENTLEMAN REMOVED THE BEGINNINGS OF A NEST IN ONE HOLE IN MY CEDAR, AND BOARDED UP THAT HOLE AND ANOTHER ONE.

Description of Work: REMOVED MICE FROM INTERIOR WALLS. PUT BAIT INTO WALLS AND BEHIND FIXTURES. WITH WEATHER GETTING WARM, IT WAS UNCLEAR IF THE MICE DIED, OR JUST LEFT THE WALLS ONCE IT WAS WARM ENOUGH. HE TOLD ME THIS MIGHT HAPPEN.
