Description of Work: I had a similar experience to the Sept. 22, 2010 F report. Terrible in professionalism, Craig had an excuse for everything once I mentioned the Angie's List discount. We were seeking an estimate on 9 replacement windows. We could not even get him to come out for an estimate. He & Mike wasted days of our time and precious time w/wasted phone calls back and forth. I had eve researched thru Angie's List the model of window he used and told him that was what we were interested in. As well as we new he'd be a little higher price and we were willing to pay for that. Furthermore, I explained we seeking to do additional work, and would be trying what ever company on the windows first. Therefore, he had the possibility of even additional work. I finally told him it was a sad situation when you can't get an estimate; and he stillcalled back with another lame excuse and bothered us again. Then calls again, w/ another excuse about why they cannot do an estimate. Now I tell Craig how do I know anything he says is true? Then he finally sets up an appointment, but specifies I cannot put on Anxious List that he was higher price. We thought that through and decided that since he was manipulating us that we had better cancel the appointment. When calling him back he had another lame excuse for why he was dictating to us what we had to do in order to get an estimate. Life is so short and many people need work; we canceled and asked him to never call us again.

I am very sorry that I have to respond to this as I try very hard to accommodate my customers. Yes, the member had called me and left a message, she seemed a little confused in the message that she left. I did call her back that same evening around 7pm 11-15, she was very combative and seemed angry that I could not come out when she wanted. I told her I would call her in the morning. She then called back at 10 pm that same night leaving a message that I needed to come out as she had other work and that she had several other prices. I called her first thing the next morning 11-16 again she was very combative would not even give me her husbands name and would not want him involved. At this point I realized that we were not a good fit together and told her so. She became very angry and hung up on me. She the called back and left a message that she was sorry for hanging up on me. I have always tried hard to work with customers. I did call her back and agreed to come out even though she refused to give me the info we needed such as a email or cell contact, but I wanted to try to accommodate her. She then called back a hour later yelling at me that I was blackmailing her. Enough is enough NO WE ARE NOT THE RIGHT FIT for this person. I have chosen not to work with such a person and I agree with one statement that life is to short. As anyone can read I have no negative reports by my customers and one reason for that is I will walk away from someone that is not a good fit. My only regret was calling her back to try to accommodate her. SHE WAS NOT A CUSTOMER AND WILL NEVER BE ONE PLEASE READ REPORTS SUBMITTED BY ACTUAL CUSTOMERS and you can decide for yourself. PS never was the word discount mentioned in any of our conversations. Thank you

Description of Work: Craig was tremendously helpful on the phone. When I had described what I wanted, he immediately advised me that, due to the size of the job (very small) the set-up costs would be so high as to make the total expense unreasonable. He offered other less expensive options (which he does not provide), which I will pursue. I cannot express how grateful I am for the time he took, knowing as he did that he was turning away potential business.

CRAIG CAME OUT AND SHOWED US SAMPLES OF MATERIALS, PROVIDED REFERENCES, AND OFFERED ADVICE ON HOW TO DO A GOOD QUALITY INSTALLATION OF VINYL SIDING. HE GAVE US AN ESTIMATE TO HAVE OLD ALUMINUM SIDING TAKEN OFF, AND NEW VINYL SIDING PUT ON.
