CertaPro Painters® Of Palatine

We had an amazing experience with CertaPro of Palatine. They removed wallpaper and painted the rooms we wanted done. The end result was outstanding! Thanks CertaPro of Palatine.

The service and quality was fantastic. Ranch room is beautiful, the tram was friendly, detail-oriented and delivered quality work in a short amount of time.

I had a very good experience. The job was done quickly and neatly. There was a problem with the front door which is stained and polyurethaned. They came back several times and worked with me to get the old finish stripped and the door restored. It now looks very good.

Workers came afternoon on day before and power washed the area. “ The work was done quickly and completely to my satisfaction. I wanted the work done before winter and they waited for good weather to finish in a day. ”

They were slow because they were watching and listen to the World Cup. They started on Monday and Friday they told me they have another job on Monday so they need to hurry. My wall unit suffered. The oil based primer was only one coat and then one coat of regular semi gloss paint. Any thing on out in it scratches very easily. I paid for 2 coats of oil based primer Zizzner and and oil based paint 2 coats. Based on what I see I never got it. The guys left me regular paint for ceiling and no oil base. Call company they could never accommodate my time. Going to file with Better Bureau Service. Don’t use them.

They came in cheapest, and did a great job. It was good. It was average. A lot of the men, there were three couldn't speak English, except for the main man, and could speak enough to get it done. It was a little delay. It took a little longer than it should have. Just a matter of timeliness. They told me it would take two days, and it took three days to complete. They did my family room, my entry way, all the way up my hallway, and my staircase.

Pretty good, paint job turned out really well, couple minor hick ups around the paint color. A couple items got paint on them that really shouldn't have, but nothing to bad but overall pretty good. We could of had less minor touch up's and a couple things without getting paint on them, we got a little bit of paint on our window shade and our family room couch and a couple things on the floor that we had to try and clean up. They were friendly and professional, they were relatively understanding.We had an issue with one of our paint colors they tried to match from a different paint supplier, and it turned out completely wrong. They were able to change the color and redo it and add another day to the project but we had to pay another $800 to do it. If we were in a pinch we would use them, if we had time we would probably research a different company.

The workers were on time and meticulous in their work. I would definitely hire this team again.

The exterior painting project began late May 2016. In the contract it mentioned that the painters would keep me up to date on the progress but throughout the entire process nobody contacted other than asking for the payment. The painters were very unprofessional leaving cigarette butts in my yard, cleaning their brushes on my plants in the backyard, and parking on my grass. At the end of June the project was rushed because the owner wanted the final payment. I mentioned to him that there were many areas which were not painted correctly and needed to be touched up. He said he would address those by July 1 and wrote the specific items down on the back of the contract. I gave him a check but as it turned out nobody showed up on July 1. When they did show up it was not until July 9th. But as the painter was doing the touch up work he spilled paint on my plants on the front yard and worse, got paint all over one of my windows. Some of the paint from the window was cleaned up but the screen still has stains on it as and the frame siding is definitely a different shade now than prior to this project. I reported this issue to the owner on July 9 and he said he would address it. Nothing was done about this until I asked him again on July 19. He responded on July 21 and said the they are aware of this and will stop by to clean it up. Again, nothing. I asked again on July 27 and the response was that they are "on it". However, nobody called me or stopped by. Again, I asked August 11. There was no response until August 15 and the answer was that it will be taken care of the week of August 15. So far, as of August 24, I have not heard back.

Certain Pro Painters have done an excellent job in painting the interior of my home in Palatine. Eric's team of Fabio and Luis have painted several rooms in my home on two different occasions. They were very neat in cleaning up and putting away their supplies every evening and always arrived on time every day. They were polite and respectful of my family and my home. Their work was of high quality and my house looks beautiful.

Condo is in a retirement community and they have regulations regarding contractors and Certa Pro worked within all the requirements. They arrived later than expected, but I found out from building maintenance that they sent the workers to the wrong building! Fabio and Louis were very friendly and professional. They began working right away. While I was gone, the painters discovered the paint color match was wrong. A painter immediately returned to the paint store and resolved the issue. (A new clerk had used the wrong tint!) The condo was finished by the afternoon (one coat.) They left the condo clean and the results were great.

Ken was very responsive to come out and do a quote, and once the job was awarded he fit me in due to a cancellation, so the job was done within 2 weeks. The 2 painters were polite, on-time, meticulous, and very good at cleaning up afterward. I added a couple of items and they did the additions for a very reasonable cost. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. A great experience and value!

Communication during proposal process was quick and professional. Crew that did the job were very friendly and efficient and always asked for feedback and made sure all was OK before moving on to next area.

CertaPro painted the inside of my entire home. They were very professional and everything turned out PERFECT! I have recommended them to all my neighbors and friends! I would not use anyone else!

The painters are quiet and professional. They assess & professionally prepare areas. This included: repair nail holes, cracks, seal any cracks, mud and tap moving drywall joints, spot prim any repairs and caulk gaps or holes in trim. They cover and protected our floors, furniture, cabinets and closet items. They were clear to us as to what we should do to prepare (remove small and fragile objects, decorations, empty bookshelves, ensure areas free from dirt and dust. It was helpful to know the process up front to prepare. The result is a perfectly painted walls, surfaces and trim without marks on windows or floors. It feels like a new home! Daily clean up was neat and compact for living and working in my home after while they were working. They use the best quality paint and left us the remainders for any future touch ups down the road! I believe these painters are artists on the side. The work is that beautiful. They even repaired and repainted an ugly closet door that I thought was beyond use, and it looks great! Once my dog got out while I was away and my painters got him in again and took great care of our home while here. We had a very pleasant experience with CertaPro starting from consultation with Eric Glab, who was very friendly and patient understanding our needs, educating us through the process of paint/stain and also providing a competitive price where we did have 4 to 5 quotes of other good reviewed painters. We took a decision to go with CertaPro and we were very pleased with the overall experience. The crew with Sergio and his team were excellent, very professional and kept us updated on the progress every day with a walkthrough at the end of the process and they took care of some minor repairs/touchups required to our satisfaction. They were very particular working through some unpredictable weather in early spring. Our house certainly looks much better and is protected for the lovely Chicago weather. He was great, and I have recommended him to friends looking for similar services. They performed the services the same week we approved their estimate. Their paining crew/team was professional, courteous, NEAT and very, very efficient. They did a great job, and finished our project in two day (power washing one day, and painting the next). The entire process went smoothly from Eric Glab's timely and fair price estimate to Bennie's help with the color-- he matched it perfectly. Bennie and his crew worked, quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up at the end of the day and the staining and painting was done neatly and completely. The house looks great.

We had 2 bathrooms painted by CertaPro. Eric was very knowledgeable and friendly when providing our estimates. The painters were very professional and prompt, arriving exactly on time. The overall quality was excellent and the painters did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. This is the second time we've used CertaPro and would definitely use them again. My only minor piece of feedback is several days later we noticed several small areas that could have used another coat and very tiny areas in corners that were completely missed, but I probably should have been more thorough in my final walk-through, as they promptly touched up everything else we noticed.
