Very good service - ontime - nice people - informative. We just couldn't afford them. If I could have they would have my business.

Everything Aspen did was prompt. The estimate was done the day after we requested one. The men started the job 5 days later. The guys started at about 7:30 to 8:00 each morning. They were pleasant even though the temperature was in the 90s every day. When the complete job was done my husband and I were very, very pleased! Our house almost looks like a "just built" home. We highly recommend Aspen. Just a footnote - About 4 to 5 weeks after we paid the FINAL BILL, we got another invoice in the mail for another $860 because they under estimated the original contract. We have been going back and forth with these people and they insist we pay the extra amount ( not in the contract). Finally they told us they would accept one- half of the extra money they billed us for. I still am not comfortable paying this extra amount and what's funny is they didn't credit us for the extra shingles and aluminum they took back. I am not happy with these people - they did do an excellent job but I feel taken advantage of by their billing practices.

They were very professional. The installers were on time, and did everything I asked them to do. Their prices were competitive. The quality of their work was excellent.

The installers were careful to make sure that the area was kept free of any debris and they cleaned up so that there was no evidence that they had even been there. The only clue to their having been there was a beautiful new entry system. Later, the company's painter came, matched the door color to our interior choice, matched the trim stain to our existing woodwork and then finished up with some touch up of the exterior. We are so pleased with their service that we have contracted for Aspen Exterior Company to install two new Velux Skylite Units.

No help was provided we ended up trying to get the attention of the rep by asking if someone was available to assist. His attitude was one of indifference. We asked if we needed to make an appointment and the answer was no. We asked if we could have someone come out to the house to give us a quote. He asked for the phone number and address and said someone would contact us. No one ever did. This is not the first time we have tried to do business with this store/company and in both instances the outcome was the same.

Having viewed the style window we were interested in at a local Pella showroom we requested a quote from Aspen Exteriors and a few others. Brian came out and did the measuring and got an estimate back to us in about 3 days. Finding their pricing to be quite reasonable we met up with Brian at Aspen's own showroom and finalized the details of the order. We discussed typical delivery of such custom windows would be on the order of 4-6 weeks. Two weeks later we received a one page letter from Aspen's Production Coordinator advising who he is and that he'd be scheduling delivery and coordinating installation. Four and a half weeks after receiving that letter and having had heard nothing in the interim, I called Aspen and got ahold of the Coordinator who advised he could schedule installation to begin about 10 days from then. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and worked surprisingly long hours finishing up the installation in 2 1/2 days. They were extremely courteous and kept everything clean and tidy while there. A separate gentleman arrived a week later to do a 2 day installation of the gutter guards (including a very necessary gutter cleaning). Then finally the interior trim staining/painting fellow came in just shy of two weeks after the actual window installation had been completed and did a quality job which took him a full week to complete. (I happened ot notice that he missed staining one top surface of a dual kitchen window; but the wife doesn't mind....so don't anybody tell). While I feel there could have been somewhat better project communication/coordination; all in all we're very happy with the new windows.

They did a good job. They were easy to deal with. They did nice work. The job turned out fine. I have no complains. I think they overcharged me. The quality of their work was good. I was very happy with them. I was very satisfied with their work. I would use them in the future.

I called and Brian came out to give me an estimate in October. I told him i didn't want the work performed over the winter, so would wait until Spring. He gave me a very detailed estmate of the work, down to the cost of removal, replaced wood, etc. Because of hail damage in the neighborhood, he was on the premises when the insurance agent looked at the damages. Every time, I called, Brian was gracious to drive out and answer my concerns. Eventually, we went into the store to pick out colors, styles, and siding. We were able to take these home and play with them in the different lights. At the end of March, I called and told them I was ready to get the work accomplished. I went into the store to once agan look over the invoice and make any changes. The following Monday, a dumpster appeared and the roofing began. They were able to replace the roof, add the attic fan and vent covers in two days, and the full dumpster departed. The nexr day the three-man siding crew came out.. They began with the replacement windows and worked toward the siding, soffit, facia, trim, pillar removal, etc. The gutters were the last done. The crew comsisted of three people who worked hard and professionally. In all, it took three weeks to finish the job. Each night they would clean up immaculately, combing through the ivy etc, to find debris they might have left. While they worked, they protected the windows by placing 4 x 8s in front of them. Each night when they left, they piled the siding debrie in the backyard and covered it with tarps. Because I had to go into the hospital before the job was completed, and i found them completely trustworthy, I gave them a garage door opener so they can have the run of the house as needed [wndow replacement, tools in garage, etc.]. TO say the least, I was very impressed with this company. They are the best kept secret in the Northwest suburbs for quality prodcut and work. Each person I worked with: the salesman, disptcher, office clerks, crews, was kind and helpful and they never tired of my bothering them, always gettng back to me within a few hours of my calls. The foreman explained everything, made a few changes for the better, and was always wlling to work with me. The price was competitive with other companies and I woule certainly use them again. Lastly, they left me some siding and trim, so if needed, I would not have to special order the colors or be afraid the colors have been retired. Aspen was a first class company. R. Stelk

It went great. They did really nice work. They were very professional. The work was good. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything turned out just the way they talked about it. They kept to the contract and got the work done. They were fine to work with.

We like them, and we have had them out about four times. They stand by their product. They cover the warranty for a lot of stuff themselves, rather than just the manufacturers. They will come back and repair something if it is not to our liking or their standard. We had a little problem with the material they had used for the roof, and they fixed it right away. I think the price is a little high. Overall, the quality of their work has been excellent. They are very responsive. They are here when they say they are going to be here. We would use them again in the future; as a matter of fact, we are in the process of working on a quote for some more windows.

Good job on roof job. Excellent job on repairing my bay window ... Removal of rot, resupport and recladding bottom curtain ... Saved me money. Not the lowest cost provider but you get what you pay for. My neighbor used them for complete exterior remodel before my job and highly recommends them ... I will always consider them for my exterior home improvement

On each of the three occasions we dealt with Aspen, the staff were singularly inattentive and quite unhelpful. On the first visit, we picked up some brochures and selected a few doors we liked. I called the salesman to see if he could find if anyone locally had one of the doors we were particularly interested in so we could take a closer look at it. He did not call back when promised and only replied (he could not find the door) after I called him several times and left messages. We visited the showroom one evening thinking it was open late. We arrived three minutes before the actual closing time of 5:00pm and I saw the salesman leaving. He clearly saw us, but did not acknowledge or presence, and left us to try the door to find it was locked. Obviously it was more important for him to get home early than it was to talk to us. We finally visited for the last time on a Saturday. We wandered around the showroom for a while and nobody thought to help or even acknowledge we were there. My wife wondered aloud why nobody was helping and was clearly heard by the salesman. When I finally asked at the desk for help, the salesman came over and talked with us. While he wasn't exactly rude toward us, he interrupted us several times while we were trying to explain what we were looking for and was generally quite offhand and abrupt--perhaps we were preventing him from doing something more important than dealing with customers? When he ran the numbers and we felt the cost of the doors we liked (upwards of $7,000) was out of the range we were willing to pay, he continued his unhelpful ways, did not suggest alternatives and basically indicated we could take it or leave it. We chose to leave it. My experience has been that, prior to a sale, vendors are usually quite keen to help. Any problems that arise usually do so once you've paid up. We reasoned that if the service we experienced at Aspen was so poor *before* they made the sale, it probably wasn't going to be much good afterward. We figured that if Aspen didn't want us as a customer, we didn't want it either.

The installer was very polite, clean, took his time and was a perfectionist. I couldn't ask for more. The salesman was very good at explaining the product and service, and not pushy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were a little bit expensive, use subcontractors. The foreman had to come out as they were getting a little sloppy but all in all they did a good job.

I had old, leaky and drafty aluminum sliding doors and wooden windows with broken hardware that could not be replaced. The glass was so badly scored on the outside you could not get the windows clean. Aspen worked in segments and I worked with the same sales person over a 6 year period to have my windows and doors replaced. They were very accomodating to work within my budget.

They were very good and I was pleased with the work.

Everything was great from start to finish. The estimator who came in listened to what we were thinking about and offered his ideas. He was not pushy. Then we came up with a plan and the work was scheduled about 2 months later. It was completed in 5 days and very well done. The workmen were perfectionists. I would use them again in future.

They are an excellent comapny but the price is a little high.

They have a huge showroom. They were very responsive.

I met with them 3 or 4 times and we had talked about what I needed done. There were some very good things that they presented. They sent me an estimate on something we had never even talked about and when we called and asked them about it, they told us it was a mistake but I told them I had gone with someone else.

Visited the showroom and saw samples. Representative came to the house, measured and presented features/benefits of various products. A quotation was prepared 4 days later and I went to the showroom to get a presentation of the costs. Did not go with this company due to pricing but felt that they were capable of doing the job well. I was asked when I would be making a decision (1 week) but was surprised that I did not receive any follow up after 3 weeks.

I have never been more satisfied with anyone. It was a big job took a little while. The entire job there was one problem but they fixed it right away. They were neat and clean. I would recommend them. When they put in the front door is saw one problem they fixed before I had to say anything to them.

The salesman went over everything in the showroom and then came out to measure. He was well-informed and taught me a lot about the windows. He quoted Marvin Infinity windows and then I found out talking with the supplier that Aspen is not an installer approved by them and that if they installed the windows the supplier warranty would be invalid. If I had decided to use Aspen I would have contacted the supplier again to get something in writing as the salesman told me that the supplier told him they would honor the warranty.

It went very well. They were very accommodating and the quality of the work was great.
