Wow!! Stay away from this company unless you have a stack of cash ready. They are true sharks. I can't believe the way people treat you at this company. I don't write reviews ever. Every time I called I felt like I was being laughed at. They basically don't want to talk to you unless you are ready to sign a contract or hand over some money. They keep saying, "Do you know the process?" So apparently they are too busy for someone like me who needs a little help with the process! I guess you don't need me and now I know I don't need you! Gross.

From the first visit to their showroom until completion of the job, they did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. They didn't rush the work. Once the job started, their manager noticed a few things that should be done different and they made the changes immediately. Only time will tell how it holds up but it really turned out beautiful and we love the new patio.

From start to finish-Archadeck was the most professional courteous, timely, and phenomenal group of people to work with. They constantly kept us informed of the process and progress of building our beautiful 3 season room. Sad that we one have anything else to do with them!

Every step of the process, from design, to getting the permits, through the build, the Archadeck owners and staff were very helpful in explaining everything and did a professional job. The patio and pergola turned out wonderful!!

I don't really know where to start... this company was top notch from beginning to end. I have very high standards and their work exceeded my expectations in all regards. I LOVED the peace of mind that I had knowing that they covered all bases in a timely and professional manner (e.g., getting rather complicated work permits - given my unincorporated location and a swimming pool). I absolutely knew that they would handle everything and that there would be no surprises - and I was right. Further, it is so very clear that their workmanship is impeccable. They take a great deal of pride in their work and it shows through! I can't tell you how many friends and neighbors have commented on the quality of the work. Also, I made some changes to the design right before installation was to begin and they accomodated and made sure that I was happy with design and functionality. I am so happy with the finished product! If you are looking for a new deck - look no further - these are your guys!!!

Our initial meeting went fine. We discussed the dimensions and material we wanted in our deck. Unfortunately we had to meet at their showroom (since they don't come out after 3 or 4 pm or on weekends) so they were going to come out some time during the next week to take measurements. We set an appointment for 2.5 weeks later for a quote and they would create two options. We were very optimistic and excited about the next meeting. The second meeting was different. We met with the same person as the first meeting as well as one of the owners. First off, the owner was texting or doing something on her phone right as we sat down. I was put off by this but let it slide, maybe it was her kids or something important. Then they presented the two 'options'. Neither of which was what we talked about in the first meeting. The first option was the right configuration but smaller than what we state we wanted. The other option covered up our dryer vent and water faucet/hose which we specifically stated we wanted left open. Unfortunately, they weren't able to give us an estimate for the deck we had discussed so they were going to get back to us within a few days (by the end of the week.) Before we left, we mentioned we were still getting quotes from other companies. After mentioning this, the owner's demeanor completely change. She sat back in her chair and became very defensive. She stated how other companies will most likely be lower in price but Archadeck makes up for that in customer service. First of all, this is a large purchase so I would think it would be obvious that someone would get more than one quote. I have met with 3 other companies since and they were all completely understanding and had no problem with us getting multiple quotes. Two of them even mentioned some of their competitors by name. Second, if this meeting was an example of the customer service they provide, I would not call it good or even average customer service. A week and a half later we finally heard back, but not with a quote. Instead it was a call back to see if we were ready to proceed. I was very taken aback. How can I proceed when I don't even have a quote? This was the last straw, especially when the owner was raving about their customer service. We now have 3 quotes from different decking companies. All of which are much lower in price and the customer service thus far has been amazing! They are all very nice and ensure they have our vision and needs in mind.

Design meetings went well, the work was done very well, and in a reasonable time.

I have NO understanding of why this company has such high ratings for finished work when their sales people shut down quotes before they are even done. After being asked how much we expect to pay for this project, she said it would take twice what we estimated. Of course we were surprised to hear that and so before we even really had a chance to respond her response was - so are we done here? What kind of sales tactic is that? You can play hard-to-get, or whatever that was, all you want. I am not going to be part of it. Meanwhile, this quote process had been completely inadequate - kept using decking terminology without explaining what it was and she did not do a proper job taking our input of what we were looking for (size, layout in the yard, tried to DOWN SELL us in features before we even talked price, and so on). While we were looking through the dated pictures on her iPad choosing ones that had features we liked, an appointment reminder popped up that was at 3:30 (her appointment with us was had started at 3 and we hadn't even sat down to talk yet). I suppose she had a bigger better deal waiting for her at 3:30 that she was willing to not try to land this sale and get to the next one. Thanks for nothing except absolutely wasting our time! Do everyone a favor and only schedule quote meetings during times that people don't need to leave work early for. Oh, and have your sales people actually try to make a sale. Good grief!

Archadeck of Chicagoland (aka Integrity Enterprises, Inc.) did an extraordinary job for us. The project was design and build and although we also had an initial meeting with another quality Angie's List contractor, we decided relatively early-on that we wanted Archadeck to do the work. As we made various design decisions we were kept fully informed of the project price. Every encounter we have had with this company has been stellar. They were the best from our first meeting through project completion. A few examples of their integrity and high quality work were: 1) returning to us a payment that we had made because unexpected, extremely cold weather delayed the start of construction, 2) providing us with daily progress emails during construction, 3) close supervision of employees and job quality, 4) responding quickly when we had questions or concerns. The carpenters who did the work were punctual, hard working, and excellent. The owners David and Kristen Berryhill are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We have already referred them to two of our friends. This business is a shining star!
