Exceptional in every way. Our experience with Archadeck was ideal from start to finish. The design process was great, our vision of the deck was exactly what we got! At no time did we feel pressured to upgrade, in fact they helped us be more cost effective. The construction and installation was the epitome of professional and skillful labor. We always knew who our installers were, when they would be there, and exactly what they’d be doing that day. They were courteous and always communicated with us when plans needed to change; which was very rare and always due to factors outside their/our control. They were organized and clean, especially after the job was finished the clean-up was remarkable. Our new deck is exactly what we wanted and more! I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am with the entire experience.

Working with Archadeck was a pleasure. The people we worked with were very professional: the design coordinator, field supervisor, carpenters, and communication staff. The deck and surrounding benches are beautiful: nice clean lines. We were kept informed daily with an email of the progress of the day. Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. We would highly recommend Archadeck of Chicagoland.

The entire process was conducted in a friendly and professional manner from our first visit with Sara at the design center through final inspection. The design center has plenty of life size material samples which gave us a real feel of what to expect. We liked the way we were asked about our expectations and to set a budget, as well as a wish list. They designed to the budget, which impressed us, along with a wish list. When we reviewed the plans with Sara, she nailed it, the plan was within budget and we were so impressed we decided to incorporate a few of the additional wish list details. The estimated start date was bested by a few weeks which was a welcomed surprise and the crew were prompt, friendly and professional in their approach. Archadeck provided daily e-mails with updates and we always felt as though we were being well taken care of. The quality of product and workmanship are impressive as we have had many compliments by anyone that has experienced it. The deck is elevated leading down to the patio, and I joke with people that if the house blew away the deck would still be standing. Solid build. The patio pavers have a tumbled look and make it appear as though it has been there for years, in a very comfortable and pleasing way. No surprises, quality product with prompt and professional workmanship made this project a pleasant experience. And one last thing, it was right on budget.

The only delay was from Kane County waiting for them to issue our building permit. Archadeck did a great job. All of our friends and neighbors have given us rave reviews of our new deck. I highly recommend Archadeck.

Great work and communication throughout the entire process

Things turned out great! Sure, it's pricey, but they handle EVERYTHING! It's expensive, but it's a great value! We couldn't be happier! They even put down grass seed at the end... That part of the lawn looks better than the rest!

Went very well! Lisa came over and met us - she was very immaculate and exemplary, right from the conceptual stage to its detailed design phase. All through, she was very pleasant and approachable and was able to guide us through the selection process and its associated costs, very well. Then, the construction phase was handled very amicably by the office lady Dawn, who was very pleasant, helpful and extremely receptive to our field needs. And yes, the wood work person Dan, in the field was very respectful and pleasant. All in all, every phase was enjoyable and I would recommend this company to anyone, and without any reservations. Folks, keep up the wonderful work!

From start to finish, the planning, construction, and follow up, this project went well. All employees were professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated getting the daily construction update email so I always knew what to expect during the construction process. No hidden fees, excellent communication, and great follow up are reasons I recommend going with Archadeck.

We had a 17x12 three-season porch and small deck added to the back of our home. We thought the initial estimate was high -- until we got 2-3 others, which were about the same, but came with much less confidence and certainty. Windows: WeatherMaster SunSpace 4-track panels - (similar to Eze Breeze). Decking: Timbertech. (This is the brand Archadeck uses -- not Trex) We're very happy with the final result. The craftsmanship of Christian's work is impeccable. The job was completed in a timely manner. A project manager at the office emailed us nearly every day telling us what was completed that day, and would work would be done the next day. And no corners were cut (i.e. trying to get around local building regulations), so we knew the inspections would go well. Archadeck handled the entire project. All we had to do was buy the fixtures (lights, fan) and have them ready on the day the electrician arrived. Photos attached. (We will have it painted in the spring). Overall, we are very pleased, and would recommend them to anyone.

Working with the design person was pleasant and informative in designing the project and selecting materials within our budget. Coordination of the project was exceptional with materials and workers arriving in a timely manner. Not an easy task with two projects in progress simultaneously. Workers were pleasant, competent and conscientious. All materials and tools were disposed of or organized each evening. We are pleased with the look and quality of the paver patio. The quality of the construction of the deck is exceptional and well above expectations. The dumpster company they contracted damaged the driveway, but Archadeck stepped up to ensure the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them for their guidance, quality of work and integrity.

The quality was what brought me to them. I would recommend them to a friend because of the quality.

It did not go well. I told the salesperson exactly what I was looking for. Nothing fancy; a 14 x 10 deck and stairs were not required. I also provided an approximate dollar amount I was looking to spend. She wanted me to visit their showroom to see various designs. It was at that point I told her I wasn't interested in going to their showroom. I had already told her what I wanted. Needless to say, I have yet to hear back from her with a quote.

The job was done by the installers who seemed to enjoy their work (talking & laughing with each other). The job was done in less time then was estimated. The finished patio is just beautiful!

They are punctual, hard working, even though the weather did not co-operate they kept in constant contact to complete the job. they left things clean & in order, ready to enjoy.

They came out. They were very nice but they were way overpriced.

We did not use them because we were not happy with the way they do things, which is they wont make up a plan until you sign on to have them do your work because they say they don't want to make a plan and then the have the customer take it to another contractor. I said to them if they could not give me a plan of what they were going to do they would not get my business. That did not move them at all. They just said "nope, sorry." I thought that sounded kind of strange. They would not even talk about plans until we had committed to having them do the work. There was not a cost for the estimate. The quality of their service did not meet my expectations.

Great experience with Archadeck! We had a vague idea of what we wanted, but a lot of it came down to cost. We met with Kristen in the showroom and based on our wishlist and budget, she helped us design our deck. This is a process; it's not a quick find, buy, execute. After the initial meeting, they came by our house to take measurements, completed the design, we met with them to review the design. The communication was consistent and timely through the entire process and build; I received an e-mail daily reporting what was completed and what would be done the next day. Pete, our carpenter, was fantastic. I'd routinely go out and ask what they were doing or see something that might not look right to me, and he was always happy to listen and explain in terms I could understand exactly what they were doing or why something looked the way it did. I wanted to make a design change, it was no problem. I wanted to add something, it was no problem. They handled the permits, they cleaned up afterward, they came by to do an in-person hand-off. It was quality and professionalism at it's best. I've seen some reviews that Archadeck asked what a client's budget was up front and it didn't sit well. We were asked the same and quite frankly, I'm glad they asked. When we first went in, my wishlist put us WAY above budget and if we'd proceeded without talking about budget first, we would have wasted everyone's time. Once they understood our range and what we were willing to compromise on (type of material, size, etc), it made it much easier to design what would work for us. So don't be put off by that or reading it in other reviews. I recommended Archadeck to my boss and would use them again in the future.

I was looking for a deck and landscaping stuff. They did not charge. I disliked the inexperience of the sales person. We did not use them.

Quality and workmanship were excellent. Design, project management and contractors were very professional.

Principles drive this company. Strong work ethic. pride in work, clean work areas, unobtrusive workers. They delivered on all promises.

Archadech were very professional. They always updated us through each step of our project. We all very happy and are looking forward in doing our back yard.

Overall it was OK, there were multiple issues that come up but were addressed, some repaired correctly, others were not.
