We decided to use them. They were professional and very impressive.

No work was performed by this contractor; not even a written estimate was submitted. When I contacted these guys they called me, and everything was on their terms. It did not matter if it was convenient for me. He was unable to come and give us the estimate after hours because he said that he needed full sun light to do the estimate. They also required an hour and a half to complete the estimate. I ended up having to take an hour and a half off of work to come home when they came out. The gentleman was on time, and spent the entire hour and a half going over the entire process with me. It seemed odd because the estimate just sort of fizzled out from there. A week went by and I had still not heard anything from them. I then contacted them and received an answer from the owners wife telling me they would get back to me within the week. A couple of hours later I received a phone call from the estimator and he told me that he spoke with the owner and it was decided that my job was out of their scope. They ended up deciding that it was not going to work for them. I ended up waisting my time that I could have used elsewhere. They didn't really want to use the materials that I wanted to use.

Excellent. We bid the job out to three professionals, and David Berryhill's company (Archadeck) came out on top. They spent 3 to 4 hours helping us design the deck from the ground up (prior to signing the contract!!!) and walked us through every step from that point going forward. The level of professionalism and quality was more than what I expected. For example, the deck is almost complete, and my wife calls me at work to tell me there is a stranger walking around on our deck. I come home (my office is 5 minutes away) and ask this gentlemen what he is doing (not an Archadeck employee). He states "I got a call from David that one of the boards is bad, I'm his wood supplier". He shows me the board, which looks good to me, and then he gets down on his knees and states "see this mark, that's a tie strap mark, we're going to replace this one". I would have never noticed. These guys did a great job and reproduced in great detail what we wanted: an addition to our home that we can enjoy for many years.

Dave Berryhill was an excellent consultant who helped us visualize what our room could be and offered valuable advice as we settled on a plan and finish materials. Paul and Keith, the construction crew, were extremely professional and outstanding in their willingness to keep the job moving through some incredibly cold stretches of winter weather. Their attention to detail - even suggesting small improvements to the design along the way - was obvious throughout the construction process. While Dave's team offered to handle the siding on the room, we opted to use the contractor who had resided our house just months before construction began. The siding contractor commented on the quality of the work and how knowledgeable and collaborative Dave, Paul and Keith were in sharing information and coordinating schedules. Dave was an extremely good communicator throughout the building process, promptly answering our questions, accommodating a few changes along the way and keeping us updated on progress and the occasional delay, mostly related to sub-zero weather. We now have a fabulous looking sunroom and deck that has received nothing but rave reviews from neighbors and friends who have seen it. Everything, from Dave's original design consultation to the Paul and Keith's workmanship, was top notch.
