The service appointment was scheduled quickly and the service person was friendly and knowledgeable. Total came in under the estimate as some tasks turned out not to be needed. The door is back to perfect health.

Awesome service, wonderful pricing. We have used Professional several times over the past few years, and have always been happy. This time one of our doors stopped working. I called Thursday afternoon, and he got here this afternoon. Minor repair, plus "tuned up" both doors. Total cost $80! And he comes from Oswego, and I am in Palatine. Tough to get anything done for $80 these days. Truly amazing, and much appreciated!

I spoke with Fred on a Thursday about getting a quote for two new garage doors . He was able to come to my house within half an hour(!) and provided me with a quote for a 2-bay and 1-bay door stamped steel carriage-style door. Having already received a much higher quote (with installation in 4 weeks), I accepted on the spot and scheduled installation for the following Tuesday. Justin and an associate called to let me know they would be delayed arriving on Tuesday, which I appreciated. They completed the removal of the old doors and installation of the new doors and the opener in less than three hours. They removed all debris. I found every contact to be professional and courteous, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I am delighted with my new garage doors!

After calling 2 other companies, they were the most affordable and the only ones who were available to come out same day. Justin replaced the springs and even tuned up our 3 car garage opener without me asking him to. Great service. I would recommend them.

I contacted Fred on Friday morning for an estimate and he gave me an estimate immediately and when I asked when they could come to do the work he said he could do that day but unfortunately, I was not available, but he was able to come the next day. When Justin got to our place, it took him less than 2 hours to complete the work. Both Fred and Justin are very professional. Justin cleaned up when he was. He took all the boxes and even our old garage door opener with him to dispose of. After he was done cleaning up he showed us how to operate the doors and helped set up the key pad. I will definitely hire Professional Garage Door again for any garage door repairs/issues.

I heard a grinding noise when I tried to open the garage door. I guessed it was the opener. I checked Angie's List and found this company. I phoned and was fortunate enough to them come out within a few hours to replace the unit. The old one was 20 years old and I opted to have a new one installed rather than try to repair the old one. The installer did a great job installing the unit and it took approximately about an hour. He was extremely courteous and friendly. He also did a good job cleaning up and took the broken opener with him. If I have any other issues down the road with the garage doors I will certainly called this company and definitely recommend anyone to contact them for service. .

Came home, and when trying to open the garage door, something went bad (one of the cables broke or came off). It wouldn't open and it was crooked; several hinges were broken, also. Called Professional Garage Door the following morning at 7am. Took my information & said would call back later to set a time to come by. They called back at 8:30am and said they could come by within the hour. They arrived about 9:30am. He examined the door (which I thought would need to be replaced), and said that we just needed new cables, brackets (for the cables) and he could replace the broken hinges. In less than an hour, the repairs were done, including general maintenance on both of the garage doors. The door seems back to normal. Total cost was $170 for parts and labor.

well my wife backed into our garage door and when I got home from work and saw the damage I thought for sure we would need a whole new door ($$$$). So i found these guys on angie's list, When I called and told them I work nights and would be home at 9:00 am the next morning they said well be their between 9:00 and 10:00. At 9:30 the tech guy shows up and tells me I think i fix your door and you won't need a new one, I was blown away!!! What I thought was going to be a 5-6 hour $1500-2000 job turned into a 1 hour $250 job, he even changed the light bulbs in my garage door opener, let's just say I was impressed. I never thought that one service visit could sell me on being a lifetime customer, but these guys just proved me wrong. I would suggest that before you call anyone else that you give these people a call.

Fred is a real pro. He showed up on time, did all the work in a timely fashion and even through in a little extra for nothing. Will certainly call on Fred again. I called his competitor in town and he never called me back. Now I have a new garage door guy. Thanks Fred.

I placed a call for service and they were able to come out the very next day. The installer showed up within the scheduled time and completed the whole job in about an hour. The work was professionally done, and all the old materials were hauled away. I was very satisfied with the work performed and would highly recommend this company.

Years ago the spring broke on our old garage door. My husband went to the phone book and called Professional Garage door, in Oswego, Illinois and was surprised when Justin said he would be out to fix it right away on a Saturday. Needless to say when it came time for 2 new garage doors we called them again. We chose to go with a better quality door with a walnut grain finish that has insulation between 2 layers of steel. Since we are getting older we also chose to get garage door openers that we didn't have in the past. We were very pleased with the whole process and was very impressed with the work that Justin did. He removed the old very heavy wood doors from the 1970's by himself and did the whole installation by himself. He disposed of the old doors and did a very good job of cleaning up. He was very professional and definitely lived up to their name of Professional Garage Door, Inc. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new garage door.

Justin arrived shortly after 9am and after a short conversation with him, he went right to work and performed the services we ordered. When he finished, he explained the operation of the new opener thoroughly,cleaned up and left. We will definitely use them again, as we have another door that needs the same services.

Very smooth and professional. They came out for an estimate and repaired my door so I could use it until they replaced the old one. No charge. Their price was less than the two other estimates I had, and the door and opener were of higher quality. The pride they put in their work is what separates them from the rest.
