we needed our blower motor replaced in our Goodman furnace

They were the consummate professionals. They took great care to ensure that the house was clean and no mud was tracked in. They took great care to ensure they didn’t ding the walls carrying the old equipment out. The new wiring and the piping around the new furnace is very clean. They even took it upon themselves to run a new water line to our humidifier.

The job was done with utmost care,, precision and professionalism by the lead installer Jesus Cisneros and his colleague Karl (Cody) Bingham. Our 1875-80 Victorian had a larger furnace heating the original house and a smaller furnace heating a 600 sq-ft addition both of which I had replaced in 1991. The time has come to update the heating and consequent exhaust system to something more efficient. I obtained 4 bids on the project . Although Modern was not the lowest by a couple hundred dollars, in discussing the situation with Tom Fletcher he presented a well-considered proposal in details I appreciated. He went over the consequent challenges of converting from 2 furnaces to a single 2-zone furnace with rather unequal volumes of the 2 zones. I gladly accepted the Modern Air proposal. Scheduling the installation was an initial challenge however when we could find a reasonable date the installation crew appeared at the time promised and right away made extra effort to protect a new deck from the heavy traffic the installation required. The crew was always polite and willing to answer our questions as installation proceeded. It took almost three full days for the installation and we performed the initial check of the new system together. It worked as promised although on a July day with 87 degrees it wasn't the most aggressive test possible. I am very satisfied with the Modern Air Solutions handling of the whole process from proposal, scheduling, preparation for installation, installation and testing. Obviously the final test will be this winter when the system is called into operation by temperature but I have no doubt the system will perform flawlessly.

I've been using them for several years now. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and information they provide. Even though I've only ever used them for routine service, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them if/when I need to have any of the units replaced.

When you get six inches of water in everything everything has to be replaced. It was bad.

These guys were great. I called them with a problem, my furnace was blowing cold air. They came out within a couple hours and fixed the problem. Great to work with from start to finish.

They were friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and professional. I did my research and reached out to three companies, got a couple of quotes, checked angies list and went with modern air. This was a couple months ago and we have been very pleased!

From the moment I placed the call, I received great customer service. I was told I would have someone out to the house in mere hours, although it would have been sooner if I had been able to get home earlier. The service technician called me 15 minutes prior to arriving letting me know he was on his way. Once he got to the house, he quickly introduced himself, removed his shoes and asked me to explain the problem. After a brief overview, he was comfortable enough to move to the basement to look at the unit. Once he determined what was needed (a new motor) he promptly explained my options which included the cost. He also explained how long he thought it would take him. I was so impressed with his thoroughness and genuine customer service, that I agreed to have Modern Air Solutions do the repair. In less time than estimated, we had a new motor and a working air conditioner. Professional. Courteous. Knowledgeable. Dependable. Economical. He is very good. He is very prompt and takes care of me. He does a nice job. If you call him, he remembers you and gets somebody out here. If I need him, somebody is out here the same day, but generally it is the next day. He is very good. I have recommended him to other people and he has done a nice job for them too. So, I know that he does a good job for everybody. I like the idea that you call somebody and they know you and they come in. You know you are not being gouged. He does not try to gouge you. You have an expectation of price and the price is what you expect to pay. He always works with you. He is just a good guy. I like that. I do not feel like I am just like some number.

I was very pleased with the service and quality of work. The only problem was that the filter box was turned in the wrong direction than originally quoted and desired, but it and everything else works wonderfully and I will use them again.

Finally writing a long overdue review. Tom (both of them) are fabulous. They show up on time, they get the job done right and they clean up after themselves. They're reasonable, professional and I've used them again and again. They serviced and finally replaced the old furnace in my condo years ago, then serviced the furnace that came with my new home. Unfortunately, we were hit with the nasty flood in April 2013 and Modern Air Solutions was one of the first companies I called to help. They came out quickly and replaced our water-logged furnace. Furnaces around town were selling out because so many homeowners had to replace them. But Tom had what I needed in stock and made it a priority to help us get our home set up with heat again. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need - he recommended the right furnace for the home and set us up with the furnace and ducts to make sure we'd be energy efficient. He followed up with info for us to provide our insurance adjuster. All in all, he's thorough, professional and knows his stuff.

It went very well. They were all very professional and polite. They explained everything to us as they worked. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area.

After feeling like I was being and quot;taken for a rideand quot; by another HVAC company, I contacted Modern Air solutions for a second opinion. Tom came out. Diagnosed the issue and took care of it right away. He even educated me on some of the workings of my A/C System!

Tom, the owner, took my call and it was urgent on my part to have someone out as soon as possible. He said Tom the service technician would be at my house in an hour. He was. Tom checked everything and showed me what the problem was..a dirty flame sensor. He also told me some other things that may have to be addressed down the road. This all after I had another HVAC company who had left my house and was insistent that my furnace was cracked and a carbon monoxide risk, the computer board was bad and he was more interested in selling me a new furnace for $3,800. Tom assured me there was no crack and no carbon monoxide leak and made sure the furnace was firing consistently before he left. They are awesome! Professional, honest and nice.

Things went smoothly! I called on Monday and they were able to give me an appointment the next day. Tom (the owner) was great to deal with on the phone, and Tom (the technician) did a great job at the house! He was able to quickly find the issue behind a leaking humidifier. He installed new drainage pipes for the humidifier and serviced the furnace quickly and efficiently and then took the time to educate me on proper care and maintenance of the humidifier. I think I just found my new go-to guys for Heating and AC work!

These guys are awesome!! This last spring they install a new air conditioner and furnace and we had them back last week for a new water heater that was leaking. They got us on the schedule for the next day, came with 2 guys took out the old heater, showed us the problem and replaced the new one and cleaned up their mess. Thought life was good and done with leaks into the basement....wrong! Not even a week later I started getting a drip in my basement and wasn't sure what it was for, be we just had the water heater replaced?? Could that be leaking already?? Called up Tom and described what was happening. He took my calls and text even in the midst of a family member being in the hospital. He contacted his guys and they had someone over on a Sunday afternoon to look at it! A different Tom, came and climbed right up the ladder and saw that out out flow pipe had a staple or nail throw it, could see it plain as day. So no intentional leaking pipe, it was leaking cause of a nail. Come to find out this staple was put through the pipe a few months back when we had some molding added around the new venting system we had put in when we had the new furnace and AC installed. That work was NOT done by Modern Air. So this and quot;otherand quot; company did the remodel and stapled right through my pipe and never went back to confirm that the nails weren't hitting anything! Not sure why it took 2 months to start leaking, but it did. So from Sunday when they came out to verify what was leaking, we went from a drip to a flow. When I got home from work on Monday our buckets were overflowing and the basement floor in this room was soaked. I was not real happy, nothing really got ruined by a piece of drywall and some old paint cans. So called Tom again and he instructed us to turn off the water valve to the house to slow the leaking a bit. By the time we went to bed that night we had almost 3, 32 gallon storage bins half full of water and towels everywhere. luckily I have a drain in that room of the basement and no carpeting!! Tom also talked us through how to turn the water on and off so that we could still have hot showers in the morning without too much more damage and strain on the pipe. The next morning was out appointment and the and quot;otherand quot; Tom came with anothe co-worker and they fixed that pipe right up and took care of giving the bill the and quot;remodeland quot; company so that I would not have to deal with them again. Love this company and all the associates that work together to help me in time of crisis. I keep their phone number on my cell to hand out to anyone in need of HVAC or plumbing!!! Highly recommend.

Saw them listed on the site, called them up for quote, came the same day, talked about products and differences. Tom even talked to my dad out of town about stuff I didn't understand. They came up with a plan that pleased everyone and work was done following week. Very happy with new units and temperature differences in the house. Can't wait to see the difference in my bills since we choose efficient units!
