Description of Work: Replaced face board, damaged shingles(white), 1 new turtle vent, install window on the garage and reinforced gutter on the back of house. Lindholm Roofing, Inc. was great! From the times I met Chuck in Aug., we had good communication especially since the work was going to take about 4 weeks to start. Their secretary called; let me know a week before the workers were coming. The workers forgot to do 1 small project but they came back the same day and finished the job. The workers did a excellent job in completing the work.

Description of Work: Gutterworks, Oswego, Illinois, removed old gutters and installed new gutters with oversized downspouts. One of the selling points was that Gutterworks charged $1,000.00, several hundred dollars less than a second company, and even 50% less than a third. Also, they were the first to respond and highly rated on Angie's list. Furthermore, the installers' used galvanized screws (not nails) to fasten the gutter straps. I was impressed with the installers' promptness, quality of work, and the fact that they "cleaned up" the debris when done. William Gross

 + -1 moreIn recent rains we noticed a few overflows from our gutters, some caused pooling on the ground which eventually leaked in to our basement. Left a voice mail for Rich K, he promptly returned our call, came over to inspect and provided a very reasonable quote ($100) for cleaning all the gutters. We were very pleased with his professionalism so we also asked him to quote for installing gutter shields. His quote was lower than what we expected to spend, but were even more surprised on how good his work was. He worked alone but was very diligent in cleaning up after himself and even agreed to fix a few things (tail pipes) beyond our agreed work. He also gave us a no-clog guarantee and offered to come back to check once a season.

 + -1 moreI had to leave two messages before he came out to give us an estimate, but when he came out to do that he expedited the schedule by meeting me on a Sunday and scheduling the work promptly after that. The work was done completely and well, we paid him after completion, no down payment was requested. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.
Description of Work: He analyzed the poor installation job someone else did last fall in installing a new gutter system on our house in connection with a large addition to the home. His proposal for re-pitching three gutters and substituting larger dounspouts, adding two short connecting pieces between two roof sections made the most sense of four proposed solutions we solicited from various competitors. He did the work when he said he would, it looks good; he gave us a downspout extension and elbow as an additional option which was not required in our contract with him. His price was reasonable and he gave us a senior discount. He was efficient, professional and paid attention to detail, example: he colored the newly exposed fascia to match the gutter in front of it so it is not noticeable which it would otherwise have been.
