They did not follow-up in a timely manner after giving us the quote. We were working within a time frame due to the homeowners association. After not returning several of my calls, I went with another company.

They were great. Their representative came out and described everything that was available, including pros and cons. He was always available when we had a question or needed to make changes. The job was scheduled and completed very quickly. The crew did a wonderful job. They were very efficient and hard working.

They were wonderful. They were prompt with getting back to me with an estimate. They were very flexible when we changed some of the things that we wanted to do. The job was done within a week. The gentlemen that did the job was very polite they were very hard working and they did clean up after themselves. We were very satisfied with them.

My experience with this company went pretty well. The fence looks great. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after themselves. They got the job done quickly.

They were very pleasant people to deal with. They caem when they said they were going to and got the work all done in one day. We were really pleased with their services.

They had done work for our neighborhood association and we liked their work and had them come out and do work for us. We sat down with them and planned out the job. They have a great product and it makes it so that we ever have to just replace a section we can leave the posts in. They cleaned up very well and we were very pleased with the work that was done.

Very professional company! They came out on a weekend for an estimate and came with flyers as well as were prepared to take measurements. The price was much more reasonable then our other offer, and we went ahead with them. Within one month (which was the original lead time they gave us) the fence was installed and all of the old fence was hauled away. They were unable to replace the wood door in the back (privacy door) due to the post being old and rotten, but when I called them they came back out in two days and put in a new post and reattached the door (at no extra cost to us). We were very happy with their service and we love our new fence!

It went well. Even though we asked for an addition at the last moment, they were able to accommodate us.

They were timely they did it in two days, they only thing they didn't do is they didn't they leave a three inch gap on the bottom, the price was very reasonable.

They did an excellent job. Did have to return to correct a problem with the gate, but that went great as well. I would highly recommend this company to all of my friends, family and Angie's List members.

Juan Magana estimated the project and was very personable and professional. He came by right after Christmas and provided an estimate. We were responsible to remove the over grown bushes. We were in the process of scheduling a tree company to remove several trees so we had that company also remove the bushes in advance of the fence work. I also needed to provide a plat of survey (I had one from when we had closed on the house). They used this to locate the property corners. Classic Fence took care of the Village permit. The fence was installed in January with snow still on the ground. We were in no rush and wanted the fence installed before the spring so I was flexible with their schedule. I paid 30% up front and the remainder at completion. My wife indicated the workers were very professional and my son enjoyed watching the workers. I was responsible for moving dirt that had been augured for the posts and did that this spring. I believe the old fence was removed and the new fence was installed in 2 days. Our neighbors have commented on how much they like the fence and how the gates just blend in. We would certainly use Classic Fence again if we need another fence. We have recommended them to other family members and friends. Our fence was installed in Downers Grove.

The quality of the work is superior. The people I worked with were pleasant. They were flexible with the changes I made and they made suggestions. They were neat with the clean up and I highly recommend them.

The man who did the estimate, Alfredo Ruiz, was very quick, professional, and experienced. We paid a third down on contracting the job. The balance was paid to the workmen who finished the fence. We obtained the local building permit and the homeowners association approval. Classic called JULIE. The work was very good, despite some unavoidable delay for poor weather and a problem with a neighbor's sprinkler system being on our property by a few inches. None of this hindered things much. The 2 man crew for the setting of the posts was different from the fence crew (3 men), but they were all very nice and worked diligently and with care to detail. They did a good job with a tiny span that joined to our neighbor's old fence at a corner. We offered them some coffee as it was about 5-6 hours of work in 35 degree weather, and they were very gracious and careful with the coffee tray and pot, etc. We would contract w/Classic Fence, again. Maybe for repairs or a dog-run, etc.

They're excellent. They did what they said they would do. They started late the first day, which was no problem. The second day, they did not show up but it was Saturday. We called and they sent out not one, but two crews and they put up the fence in about 2 hours. The people in the office are wonderful also. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, everything went very smoothly. We received 2 other quotes for 2700 and 2800. Classic Fence had the best price and I felt like Tony (the guy who provided the estimate) really took the time to answer all of my questions. I had to wait a month for the install but it was worth it.

The project proceeded flawlessly. Representatives came to do the estimate on time, the estimate was provided in a prompt and careful fashion, the company provided an Angie's list discount as they advertised and the work was performed by courteous and competent individuals. I have nothing but raves for this fencing company.

It went excellent. They were on time, polite, courteous and did an excellent job in a timely fashion. They cleaned up well and we couldn't be more pleased.

The project went very well with the crew arriving on time and finishing the work on the date it was promised. Minor things could have made it perfect. They forgot one of their heavy iron bars (a digging tool I think). They used one of my water hoses but did not put it back and left the water turned on (it froze that night but there was no damage). Those are very minor observations. The fence looks great! Price was very competitive (15% below the next lowest bid.)

Easy estimate on site, work performed on time.

There price was competitive, but I was disappointed in their lack of supervision and poor communication with the crew because of the language barrier. At the end they did resolve any issues.

It snowed about a foot so the work was delayed about a week. When they showed up to do the work, it took them 2 days to complete the job. One day to put in the fence posts and the other to nail up the fence. They cleaned up all the concrete and put the dirt behind my garage as agreed. They did a great job!

Excellent service and very good price. Juan Magana arrived exactly on time, listened to what my wife and I wanted, took detailed notes, and explained to us minute options for the fencing to make sure it would be done just as we wanted. Very patient and easy to work with. Estimate was $1515, including 5% Angie's List discount for approx 120 foot of 4' picket fence, very reasonable by my estimation. Work is scheduled to be performed in 2 weeks. Will update report as soon as done.

WE HAD TWO PRELIMINARY MEETINGS WITH FRANCISCO, WHO PROVED A COMPETENT, POLITE, AND RESPONSIBLE PERSON. HE DESCRIBED VARIOUS OPTIONS AND OFFERED SUGGESTIONS. WHAT HE PROMISED -- HE DELIVERED. HE PERFORMED IN A TIMELY MANNER BY QUICKLY MEASURING THE TASK AND OBTAINING THE NECESSARY LOCAL PERMIT. THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALLED THE FENCE WERE PUNCTUAL, COMPETENT, VERY HARD WORKING, AND COMPLETED A QUALITY JOB. AT ONE POINT, DESPITE POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS, THEY WORKED TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THIS FIRM AGAIN.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE CREW WAS QUICK AND EFFICIENT. THE FENCE IS STURDY AND LOOKS GREAT. ALSO A GOOD GRADE OF CEDAR USED. THEY WORK YEAR 'ROUND.

WAS PLEASED OVERALL. GOT PROMPT CALLS BACK, WAS ONSITE WHEN THEY PROMISED TO BE HERE. WORK WAS ON SCHEDULE, AND ON BUDGET.
