They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them again. They offered a fence with more narrow gaps between the pickets. This is, designed for people with small animal like we have.

Installation went extremely well, over two day period--first day to dig and set fence posts, second day to install fencing. Excellent attention to detail. Cleaned up after installation.Would recommend this firm to anyone.

Start: I called Classic Fence because of the reputation they have. I did have Peerless out to my house a couple years ago and was very unhappy with the representative and I am glad I did not go with them because he did not know the rules of my subdivision. He thought he did, but he didn't. His quote was too, too high anyway. Classice Fence came out immediately and he understood what I wanted and we made a date for the work immediately. I liked him that did not want to bargain with anyone else. Workers came out on time, did the work on time, were fast and cleaned up after themselves. Very nice employees. It has been one year since I had the fence and several months ago I notice that the wooden slats are not as tightly snugged together as they should be. I can stand at the fence and see in my neighbor's yard. I had two sides put up as the third side has a Peerless wooden fence which is on my property and I intend to tare it down next Spring and deal with Classic to put up that side. My concern is that the Peerless fence, as old as it is, you cannot see through the slats. I have not called them yet but will do so soon. Finish: Did I think they were good - most certainly. Would I deal with them again - most certaintly.

The estimate was fine. We still have not decided to do this work. They were professional.

It was smooth sailing from beginning to end.

The sales rep was punctual and provided us with some ideas others did not including a 5 foot gate on one side of the house since we had the room, and extensions on the bottom of the fence along the rear property line to ensure the fence was leveled across the top (grading of property has a swale in the middle of the lot). These ideas were what impressed up as others had said just throw dirt back, add boulders, etc. to deal with a 1.5 foot gap between the bottom of the fence and ground. The installation crew was very prompt and cleaned up every day. My wife was home both days and had no issues with them. We are very pleased with the final product and would highly recommend. The only reason I applied a B for responsiveness and punctuality was the office staff was a bit slow in communicating when the fence would be install (called the night before) and follow up regarding the installation of the gates.

We looked at three other companies in addition to Classic Fence, but I decided to go with Classic Fence because I liked their customer service - they were the most attentive and timely with my requests for photos of previous jobs they had done involving a sloped yard. Also, their fence quality was better than what two of the other vendors were offering me for approximately the same price. We had a very good experience. They staked our backyard to help me visualize where the fence would go, which helped. The workers were all very nice and professional. They installed the fence in December, and I was a little concerned how well the cement would hold up. It is covered for 5 years, and so far the posts still look great, even after our bitter cold winter and blizzard in February. We have had many compliments from family, friends, and even other vendors on how nice the fence looks. I love that there is no "ugly" company advertisement attached to the fence, which is a standard at other companies we were considering. The gate on the slope blends in beautifully with the rest of the sloped fence (one of my earlier concerns) and we love the built in lock on the gates. Purchasing a fence seemed like such an unnecessary additional expense, but almost every day, we are so happy to have decided to purchase a fence, that it looks as great as it does, and that we had a good experience with the whole process.

Classic responded to our request for an estimate promptly, provided competitive prices, installed the fence quickly and efficiently. The workmanship was high quality and the fence looks great.

We got Classic Fence Inc. through Angies List. We did the work in winter and because of the ground not being exactly right, they actually built it into the ground. They came out two days. The first day, they set the post and then they came up the next day and built board by board right on site. We were very happy with them. They were clean.

I had a terrific experience with Classic Fence! Alfredo wasn't the slickest sales guy with whom I met. But his knowledge, experience and honesty won me over in a hurry. He gave me detailed answers and offered solid advice. I'm not going to lie...he also worked with me on price and that, in concert with his Angie's List ratings, was what made me select Classic Fence. My hurry to get the fence installed by a deadline made things a little tricky for them, but they got it done--even getting the required Village trade license. The fence was installed professionally, on time and to-specification by a friendly crew that seemed to actually care about not trampling my plants! When they were finished, they even hauled some cement pavers out to the curb. The only thing that would drag the installation down to an A- would be that the ground clearance is not to code. Pickets that touch the ground suck up groundwater and I'm a little concerned about the impact of this on the life of the fence. In fairness to them, though, my yard is anything but level....even the slope isn't consistent...so this was a significant challenge! If the Village inspector expresses concern, I will give Classic a call back and I'm certain that they will come make the required adjustments. Overall, I am very happy with the price, product and installation. My new fence looks great and will keep the dogs in and the other creatures out! What's not to love?!

I was really very happy with them. They did a beautiful job. They were really nice to deal with when I had any questions. I asked him if he was going to do a particular thing and he said he was going to do it. He was really good. The guy was really nice and he did a nice job. I would definitely recommend him to others. He is very dependable, skilled, pleasant to deal with and professional. The price was average.

The price they quoted me was about $4000. They were friendly and they talked to me about what was going on.

Prompt and work done in timely manner. **Clean-up was excellent. **Patient while determining lot line. **I normally shop for best price, but I was in a hurry to get the fence in, so I didn't in this instance. I therefore don't know if they are competitively priced. **I would have given them an A, but there was a problem with the gates. My land slants away from the house, and the gates weren't initially installed to accommodate that. The gate installers didn't seem concerned or knowledgeable. However Classic promptly sent someone else out to correct the problem.

On Monday, Oct. 4th I had an appointment with Alfredo of Classic Fence. Alfredo was professional and extremely helpful to me in making my final decision. I did not get other estimates as all the reviews on Angie's List were so good and I did not want to make myself crazy becaues of a few dollars. classic Fence took care of calling Julie which was extremely quick and I got the permit from the Village of St. Charles. Workmen came out on Thursday and put the STEEL posts in and Friday another group came out and put the fence up. So now I have a beautiful 6' cedar fence with steel posts which is maintenance free thanks to Alfredo's advice. It was a pleasure doing business with Classic Fence of Oswego, IL.

We wanted a fence for our new home as we are on a corner lot with two toddlers and an adventurous dog. We called several companies from the list, and although all were professional and prompt, Alfredo from Classic fence seemed to have a better idea of what we were looking for. Alfredo recommended areas where we would not need fencing that saved us substantially. Furthermore, he talked me into a wider gate width for the driveway to plan for future repaving and larger work vehicle. This simple recommendation paid off immediately when a contractor needed to pull a trailer into the back yard one day after the install crew left. THANKS Alfredo. Beyond the initial sale, Monica at the office and the work crew were professional, efficient. A manufacturing flaw was discovered in one of the driveway gates by the crew, and Monica was up front about the problem and quick to communicate the remedy and the updated time-line. Great experience from start to finish. This is what makes Angie's List such a valuable resource. I have had neighbors and passers by comment on how much they like our fence almost daily which is something I didn't expect. I have proudly recommended Classic Fence to all who ask, and a few that don't. I normally do not like having vendors/contractors hanging their advertising on the finished product (car dealerships etc.) But, Classic's sign will remain.

I got estimates from 4 different fencing companies. Decided to go with Classic because they were one of the highest rated on Angie's List and they had one of the lower prices. They answered all my questions and made some recommendations given my criteria. I signed the contract with them and fence was installed when they said that it would be. It was exactly what I wanted and looks great. The installers were nice and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them.

They were really good and did a great job. The fence was over a 100 linear feet and was a PVC fence. Francisco was the person who came out initially to give me the estimate and he was the most thorough person compared to the others that I had spoken to. He told me that they would look out for certain things. He asked me specific questions and I was impressed with that. I actually had a couple of issues when they came out to install the fence since I wanted the fence to be level, but the ground wasn?t level. The bottom was too high and they ended taking the fences out twice and redid it in certain areas. They wanted to make me happy. I had a landscaper come out by the time they finished the job and they graded it better. I also had the inspector out to make sure that the work was right and I was really impressed when they were done. Some of the caps weren?t sealed properly and some of them had come out, but I could take care of it myself. There were just a few things which were a part of the finished job that wasn?t done. However, it was a big job and they did an amazing job. The price that they had charged was the lowest of the 3 estimates that I had received. The quality of their work was very good except for the caps. Their responsiveness was excellent. When they were working on the fence by my neighbor?s house, they moved my neighbor?s tractor and left it in front of the garage door. So he couldn?t get in when he got home at night and I didn?t know about it. He then gave me a call and let me know and that was like the worst thing that had happened. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

Great! They came out and did estimate twice (once for us and once w/ neighbors) and once we scheduled, were spot-on with estimated date of installation. Quick, efficient, nice quality and no mess whatsoever. I would definitely hire them again for additional fencing needs.

After favorable ratings on AL, I contacted them for an estimate to build a new fence & gates. Francisco arrived to do our estimate on time, was friendly and thorough. The price was in-line with our other AL estimates, but I had a better feeling about him & the company. We booked our install appointment for 2 weeks out. They arrived on time, the crew was polite, mindful of my wife's garden, and worked diligently from 7:30a-6:30p. They returned the following morning to finish. Once we had a chance to review their work, there were a few punchlist items that needed completing. The crew arrived that weekend (Saturday morning) and completed everything, no problems. Very happy with the fence, doors, and overall experience. Highly recommend this company.

About 2 days after asking for a quote, they came by and inspected the site and e-mailed me a quote the day after. I ended up making several changes to the fence layout and they were able to quickly modify the bid. Their bid was lower than the other proposals I received and they could have it installed in about week. Installation took two days and they did a good job cleaning up afterward. Surprisingly, when I received the final bill, it was (slightly) lower than estimated. I am very happy with the end result and would not hesitate using them again.
