+ -1 moreQuick and easy, did exactly what we asked for, didn't panic when things didn't go perfectly (the door in the garage stuck closed and couldn't be opened, therefore the lock couldn't be changed, but it didn't matter....), and cleaned up after himself before he left. All in all, it went as well as could be expected.
Description of Work: changed the locks and added a deadbolt on a house we just bought.

+ -1 moreAfter buying my home I needed the entry door locks changed right away, wanted to add deadbolts and rekey a couple of other locks. I was relieved to find a nearby locksmith that could do this work the very next day. Citadel Lock & Security sent Josh out to do the work and he did a great job. I asked him if he knew of a good local company that could replace my entry doors when I decided to do that and he mentioned that Citadel Lock can do that as well. I was also surprised when Citadel called me a few days later to tell me they discovered they had accidentally overcharged me on an item, and promptly mailed me a check for it. It was a small amount, but I appreciated their honesty and professionalism. For anyone who needs a locksmith I definitely recommend Citadel Lock & Security of Oswego, IL and you can visit their website www.citadellock.com
Description of Work: I found a local locksmith through an online search called Citadel Lock & Security. I called their office to ask a few questions and see if someone could come out the next day. The gentleman who answered the phone was very nice and assured me they could do so. The next morning Josh came to do the work and brought a couple of new doorknobs they had on hand so I could pick one of them to get the job done the same day. This young man was very polite, asked a few questions to be sure he understand what I wanted and then did the work in 2-3 hours as he needed to drill 2 doors for deadbolts. He made sure all the keys worked properly, answered any questions I had and cleaned up his work areas before leaving. Josh gave an excellent impression for his company!
