Description of Work: I have had two telephone calls to describe what I'd like to have the handyman do. I stayed home one Saturday in case the handy man would strop by to preview the work. That's what I was told on the phone, that he might come by on Saturday. No call, and no show. I am told that they are so busy that I might get things done in August, 4 months after purchasing the service.

Description of Work: I had several miscellaneous things that I needed to have done: pictures hung, security viewer installed in front door, drapery rods hung, bed frame repaired, slider track lubricated, etc.

 + -1 moreWe really appreciated the work, and the fellow (forgot his name!!) helped us figure out the outlets (some were attached to switches inside, which we didn't realize). He hung around until we knew exactly how each outlet worked. He didn't have to do that.

 + -1 moreJoe came and replaced all our outdoor outlets with GFI outlets. Then he stayed to figure out why two weren't working. Turns out there are switches inside that control the outside GFIs! Joe wouldn't leave until the mystery was solved!
Description of Work: We wanted a ceiling fan installed but it required new wiring because there had never been a fan or light there. So instead they honored the coupon for other work.

 + 0 moreJoe came out and looked at the work and explained the challenges with the garage. He explained it might be difficult to save the flashing over the rotten wood on the garage but that he'd try. I had the garage wood replaced with pvc (as recommended) and the post with wood (to match the rest of the porch. They came out and did the work earlier than the estimated date, all while I was at work, and left the invoice in the door. They did a great job - the post looks better than it has since I bought the house 3 years ago and the garage looks great, even with the challenge of trying to salvage the flashing after replacing the board. I purchased a 4 hour labor deal and paid an additional $120 for materials - WELL WORTH the money. I will definitely use them again for similar projects.
Description of Work: Had a rotten porch post and a rotten header on the garage (from improper siding installation).

Description of Work: Contractor went to the wrong house then had to reschedule the work. The quality of the work was poor and I received complaints. Then the contractor sent me a duplicate bill when the project was already purchased through Angie's List. Then I was called over an over to pay the same bill. I was then told the additional duplicate amount was for materials when I never received the receipts for materials. I paid the contractor through check and electronic check which were never cashed.

Their work is professional, they are on-time and they made our house look new again. I highly recommend them and will give them as referrals to anyone who needs high quality carpentry at great prices.
Description of Work: We had rotted boards on the side of our house as well as soffit and fascia damage caused by squirrels. The replacement boards had to be custom made and fitted and the work all done on ladders.

 + -1 moreDid you ever have a project that you COULD do but just didn't have time to mess with? Well this was one of them. I had 2 entry doors that just weren't closing properly and making a good seal. This was causing money out the window by unwanted air gaps. he crew came out and within an hour and a half fixed my doors to work perfectly. This saved me a couple hours by not having to mess with the doors myself. This was a great deal and a good way to check off an item on my ever-growing project list. I would use them again.
Description of Work: The father/son crew fixed my 2 entry doors which were not closing properly. They were on time, clean, professional and did a great job.
