Robert's General Masonry Repair

Robert is exceptional when it comes to customer service, professionalism and quality of work performed. He returned my calls immediately. He came to give an estimate the same day. He took pictures of the chimney and patiently explained to me what needed to be done, why it needed to be done and how he would do the work. Robert cares about the quality of his work. He and his workers arrived on time and cleaned up the job site very well when finished. It was a pleasure to work with Robert and I would hire him again with great confidence.

Robert performed all work as he said he would do. Can barely notice where work was performed after a month's time as he indicated. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The other person who came out to give me an estimate never mentioned replacing the cracked bricks; he would mortar over the cracked bricks and never mentioned the chemical cleaning process. Robert was referred to me by my sister. He had done a repair to some masonry at her home. She was very satisfied with his price and the work performed. I called Robert and he came to my home the same day. We reviewed all the areas that needed repair. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and what it would take to do the work. Robert replaced our deteriorating chimney cap as well as tuck pointed a foundation crack. That crack was causing water to leak into a bedroom baseboard and for 2 years I contacted contractor after contractor who could not solve the problem. Robert solved the problem immediately. He even addressed a keystone that was loose that we weren't even aware was a problem. He is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive to calls, and possesses a work ethic that is immeasurable. I would most definitely use him again and would not hesitate to recommend his company.

Robert did a great job filling in the paver bricks and sealing up the holes to prevent future problems with uninvited guests underneath my deck. Robert responded to my call for repair to our foundation the same day. Even though it was a small job he accepted it and made it blend in with the rest of the foundation. He inspected our chimney and showed us pictures of obvious and serious damage explaining why it happened. He also told us in detail how he would repair it and replace the cap so as to ensure that it will last a long time. At the end he showed us pictures of our new chimney. We are delighted with the workmanship of him and his crew and feel secure in the knowledge that we have a sound chimney that will last a long time. He uses quality material (5,000 psi cement) and takes pride in his work. He took the time to put up scaffolding to safely work on the sharp incline of our roof providing safety for his men and our property. He also used a pulley system for safely raising and lowering material and debris He was always respectful to us as well as his crew. As another customer said Robert is now our go to masonry guy. Robert inspected the foundation and window areas finding the crack in the foundation wall. He sealed the crack from the inside and found areas around windows on the outside needing caulking and sealing. He explained what needed to be done well before starting, worked neatly and efficiently and guaranteed his work. A previous estimate from another company was much larger and required moving the central air conditioner. We were able to avoid the much larger and more expensive job.

Robert came out to repair a portion of our chimney and rebuild the crown earlier on a separate job. I was very satisfied with his work and hired him again to apply a brick sealer to the entire chimney on this job. He recommended and showed me the product ahead of time and gave me time to review it and i ended up going with his recommendation. He arrived promptly and did the job exactly as he promised. I am happy with the work and would highly recommend him for any masonry work.

Robert and his crew were very professional and delivered as promised. Our house is built from bricks that are no longer available. He took great care in finding us the closest match. His team arrived right on time to do the work, and were efficient and professional. They did a fantastic job with the repairs, and left the areas cleaner than they were when they arrived. The next time I need any brick or tuckpointing work, Robert will be my first call.

He recommended re-caulking my exterior windows and door due to finding my original caulk failing and needed replacement. We settled on a price based on the number or windows and doors on my home and he had the work done again in one day with his crew within a week. I contacted Robert through Angie's List messaging service (a wonderful addition, I might add) and thinking it might take at least a day to respond, I didn't check for a reply until the following day. He responded to my message in record time and although I wasn't home at the time he came out to give me an estimate, he gave me a quote in record time. We agreed on a date and time for him to do the job. While digging out the block, he was fighting off a hornet's nest, so this job was "above and beyond" in my opinion. Thanks Robert for a great job!!!
