NEVER I REPEAT NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! He is a link of the exact same problem I have incurred. To make a long story short, Kris contacted them to come out and take a look at the furnace they installed that had been rusting out on the bottom of our 2 year old furnace. To my understanding it was to be a free/complimentary service call. When the technician was done, which was all of 2 minutes, he handed me a bill. I explained that it was supposed to be a free service call. He was irritated and left me a bill. I contacted the company and explained what had happened and a nice lady told me that it would be taken care of. Well I recently received a letter that it was going to collection. I called immediately and was told Clyde would call me back but numerous calls later and no return call from Cylde.....until today. Terrible customer service. I would never treat a customer the way Mike Clyde treated me on the phone. What a complete joke. After I listened to him explain to me how a woman wouldn't know how to run a business even though I run two businesses, I contacted a lawyer. I have never been made to feel the way this horrible man made me feel. All I was trying to do was explain that we were told it was a no charge service call. He refused to do anything about it and took to arguing with me that nothing in life is free and he would under no circumstances (it would be a cold day in **** is actually what I think he said) remove the fee or the bill. I tried to explain that when the techs came out they smoked in my basement and house. left all there garbage in my driveway and were very unprofessional with there language and I let that all go. We needed a furnace and ac unit. What was I going to do, make them leave!? but being given a bill of a service call, that was supposed to be free, to a job that wasn't even done great in the first place was my breaking point. The the phone conversation!!! I'm done. Rude and completely unprofessional. My lawyer will handle it from here.

Good work arrived on time put down floor protection. Completed the project in a timely manner.

John was fantastic. He arrived on time, understood the problem. Was able to fix it and noted that if we have issues with it in the future, ie the part itself needs to be replaced not fixed, to just give him a call. He did all of that very quickly which helped keep the cost very low. Overall, this went better than we hoped for and will definitely be calling again for future service.

During a recent inspection of my furnace, it was found to have cracks in the heat exchange and therefore, not operable. I was given options and prices to replace my furnace and after choosing, the new furnace was installed the next day. I have used Polar for several years for my heating and air conditioning and have always been satisfied with their work. Their technicians are professional and knowledgeable.

Wow, please do your research on these guys and save yourself a nightmare. They were a no show for the appointment on the day I called. Mike then sends out a guy the next day who quoted me over $3,500 for a job that someone later did for $300. These guys will do anything to get you to buy a new furnace/ HVAC from them. Beware.

The repair person from Polar was sent within 12 hours. He diagnosed the problem correctly, reset the control board, and got the furnace working properly. There was no service fee for this call, as Polar had done annual service on the furnace a few days earlier.

From start to completion Poler was very professional. The prices were the best compared to other estimates that I received. We couldn’t of been happier with the service that they provided.

We have used Polar for all our heating and air conditioning needs for the last three years. They know what they are doing and they are responsive. They do sell higher end equipment, but the work they do is quality.

It went flawlessly. They are some of the most competent and conscientious people we have ever encountered in home repairs. Absolutely top notch: prompt, careful, professional, polite, helpful. They replaced the old units with more-efficient, more capable units, and at a price which was better than we had been quoted for inferior equipment by others. Their workmanship was absolutely spectacular!

Do not use them! I bought two AC units from them in 2012. I bought a 10 year parts and labor extended warranty as well. I had been using them every year for my annual services and a day before my service visit on 6/29/19, my unit started having some issues. They didn't show up on the 29th and claimed they forgot my appointment. Then they kept saying they would be there in an hour before they never showed. I called back on the July 1st and July 3rd and they said they would not honor my warranty. They lied and said I didn't get the annual service done in 2013 and 2014 which simply isn't true.

Called and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. I asked that the technician call before arrival, which she did and was 15 minutes early. This is my second experience with this company and they are terrific!

They were very professional,courteous and informative. We also had them come out in the summer to service our air conditioner which we were having problems I would recommend them without hesitation

The technician was on time and acted very professional. The work was performed in a timely manner. the igniter was cleaned and the furnace was vacuumed. The cost was $89,00 but I had a $10 discount sent to me in the mail by Polar.

Polar Heating was contracted to install a Navien tankless boiler, recommended by their technician, Wayne, after the Crown boiler they installed 3 years ago failed. The technician indicated that although the Crown boiler was still under manufacturer's warranty, it would be just as expensive to have them replace the faulty part (because labor was not covered), versus install a new system. I agreed to have the Navien system installed, and upon further recommendation from Wayne, agreed to have a tank water heater disconnected, to be serviced by the new combination boiler. After the initial installation on May 24th, 2018 we left for Memorial Day weekend, only to return on the 27th to a room that was 94 degrees. I noticed that Polar had neglected to connect my Nest thermostat in one of the radiant heating zones, so the boiler had been running constantly for 3 days. I immediately turned off the boiler and called Polar. Given the holiday weekend, they did not come back out to fix the problem until the 29th of May, with the original installer (Nelson) acknowledging that they had not connected it properly. Nelson also admitted there was an issue with the new zone valve they had just installed not being connected properly. When I received my natural gas bill at the end of June, my usage had increased by 8-fold (resulting in a $800 gas bill in the middle of the summer) and I called Polar. Despite the fact that we both have record that they fixed their installation error, they will not reimburse me for the exorbitant gas bill. I called and emailed the President of the company, Michael McLaughlin, but was told by their Customer Service manager, Michael Clyde, that he would not be responding to me. In addition to this problem, they had included in their quote a rebate of $650. They sent someone out to collect my signature on the rebate form and a copy of my gas bill to submit the rebate on my behalf. When I called to inquire about the rebate the first time, they told me they had not submitted it yet. I asked for a copy of the form so that I could have it on record. Their office manager told me that she would send it to me. I never received it. During this most recent issue with the gas bill, Michael Clyde called me back and claimed to have lost my rebate paperwork. Upon filing for the rebate myself, I found that the rebate was only $350, not the $650 they claimed. For a company that prides themselves on customer service, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Furthermore, if you do additional research you will find that they bash their customers on social media whenever there is a complaint and deny culpability for any substandard work they perform. This is quite possibly the worst company in an already sketchy HVAC industry.

Had to have capacitor for ac replaced 4seasons said that the entire ac would have to be replaced they saved us over 4000 dollars will use them again

Visit went well. Tech was great-explained everything. He was also great with my dog. I trust the Polar team for all my heating and cooling issues and would highly recommend them

They did a good job. They're fine. They're perfect. I've recommended them to other people too. I'm probably going to call them in a couple of weeks to do the heating maintenance. They're responsiveness initially and the fact that they installed the system. You know when you go with a company that did the initial installation the cost is usually a little cheaper. Everything was fine. Perfect. It was fine.
