We called Midwest Air Control and explained that our furnace was out. I expressed to them that I needed someone quickly because I have a two-month old baby and it was going to get quite cold in the evening. Ron Doherty was at my house within a few hours and immediately fixed the problem. He was very pleasant, professional, and even gave us some tips in case we found ourselves in trouble during off hours. I am so grateful that I found them on Angie's List. We will use them again for any of our HVAC needs.

I have used this company in the past for air duct cleaning. Last night my furnace stopped working. I called Midwest and had to leave a message, it was during their regular business hours, which made me nervous, but it was so cold, I figured they must be busy. It wasn't 10 min's and I got a call back from them and within a couple of hrs Ron was at my home. Turns out my thermostat wasn't working. I was given the option of an ''economy'' model or one that was digital, etc, to replace it with. I bought the least expensive one and was never pressured to spend more. I was VERY happy with the serviceman who was very polite and explained everything he was doing and the cost before he did anything. Nice to know there are good companies like this you can rely on at a time when, in my own experience, you may be vulnerable (no heat!) and not so knowledgeable about that kind of thing. Thanks Midwest Air! Oh, yes, he also cleaned my furnace after he made sure it was operating properly.

I had received quotes for air duct cleaning from different companies. I initially called this company because my sister showed me an article she saved from the Daily Southtown featuring air duct cleaning and Midwest Air Control. I was able to speak to the owner when receiving my quotation and although he wasn't the cheapest he was the most competent. Ron took the time to answer all of my questions and I tend to have quite a few. Other companies I called were simply making appointments. When I asked questions they seem to have scripted answers. Ron himself and 1 employee did the duct cleaning. They arrived on time and even called beforehand. Since they are a heating company they were also able to clean my furnace for me. They were courteous and went right to work. They were clean and didn't leave any mess behind. I was charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone. Great job! I will and have recommended this company to all my friends and family.
