Michael and his team expertly constructed a beautiful cabana room over our existing patio. Michael had great a timeline and communication throughout the entire process. The end result is exactly what my wife and I were looking for.

Mike and his crew are amazing!!! They are very punctual, dedicated and hard working. Mike is on site everyday with his crew insuring everything his done exceptionally well. I have never seen an owner of a company do this! He pays attention to every little detail. He created a beautiful living space for me that should be featured in Houzz. The job took about 4-5 days from tear down of the old deck until the entire deck was completed. All of the workers arrived at about 8 each morning and left about 4:30-5:00 each day. The workers stayed busy throughout their time here. Mr. Rosian was also here each day until the job was completed. We are beyond satisfied and would definitely refer him to anyone looking for any services that he renders.

The worker was extremely polite and professional. They are very detailed, they did a good clean up after the job. The owner of the company always went out of his way to exceed our expectation and the quality of the work was exceptional. I will highly recommend this company.

He did a terrific job. He'll take your request and accommodate you to the best of his ability. We've used him 17 years ago and again 3 years ago for a wheelchair ramp.

Not one problem. Not a single issue arose during the complete replacement of my deck. The entire job went smoothly, cleanup was terrific, and the best part is the entire 16 X 16 deck was completed in less than a few days! Couldn't ask for anything better!

We recently worked with Mike Rosian to build an attached 20x24 cabana in our backyard. We were convinced we wanted to work with Mike after we saw what a beautiful job he did on our neighbors pergola. Not only do we love the final product but from the start Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with and he was a man of his word. His responsiveness, organization, guidance, knowledge, work ethic, and business acumen are only a FEW of the reasons we are so happy. Thanks mike, you turned our backyard into paradise!

From proposal to completion, everything went as planned. We were very happy with the entire experience. Glad we chose this company - their work is impeccable and their professionalism - just perfect!

Outstanding. We called Mike on a Friday and he returned the call later that day. He came out on Saturday morning, inspected the site and prepared an estimate the same day. Work commenced on Monday and finished as scheduled. Mike presented a number of design options which we hadn't considered, and the final result is beautiful.

They did a wonderful job. Provided good clear plans. The roof is a perfect mach and the inside ceiling is of cedar - looks much better than we expected. The paint were needed was a perfect mach. It now looks like an integral part of the building. The laborers were very neat and after work everyday left the place neat and clean.

Late April, after not hearing anything from him since fall, I called to inquire. I was told that his workers had gone to Mexico for a funeral and it would be another week or ten days to start. 2 weeks later, called again, to have Michael tell me he had health issues and to please give him an additional 10 days. We readily agreed. After another 2-3 weeks (now May 20, 2015) I called twice more and left voice messages, neither of which was returned. In our messages we indicated that if he had health issues, we understood but needed him to at least contact us so we could figure out what to do. No response for > a week. Frustrated, I contacted Angie's List (June 5, 2015) who were as surprised as I of his behavior, since he had such great reviews. They suggested writing a bad review of him "to get his attention". I don't know if they contacted him, or my following email notifying him that this 5th contact by us was his last before we took action. We then got a voice message that he "must of left a previous voice message on the wrong phone number". His statement now was that he had continuing health issues and "could not possibly" begin project for another 2 months. This was putting the project at almost a year since contract was signed and deposit given. We e mailed Michael asking him for deposit back. He texted back that he had already sent it and "why don't you cash the check I sent you on May 27?" Obviously we had not recieved said check or any communication. On June 23, we both left voice mail and e mail to please send to our address. Finally, on ~ July 5, the check came with no note, no apology. We cashed the check and it cleared. I then sent him an email telling him that we understood if he had issues like funerals and his health to delay things but there was no exuse for being so unprofessional as to never once contact us until we had first contacted him. His response was that "he was sorry we felt that way". We can't hardly believe this is the same guy who got all those good reviews! Overall everything went well in the beginning. At the end they did very sloppy work. They cut the floor boards to short. The sleeves on the railing at the very end, they started to cut the bottoms, which they should not have done. They used caulking on the sides. A brand new deck does not need caulking. The building inspector came out and said they should come out and redo those parts that are not done right.

We set a time and date for the consultation and he cancelled. Said he would do it the following week. We never heard from him after that. He is not a man of his word. He told me that he had a family emergency, I believe that he just didn't want to take the work and was not honest about it.

Mike and his crew were absolutely professional in constructing our deck.. He took the design I had seen on a website that was a great fit for our space and adapted it perfectly! We actually ended up with a larger (or so it seemed) deck than we were expecting. The workmanship was top quality as evidenced by my extremely picky carpenter son who saw Mike's work and had no negative comments at all. The cedar is of top grade and all the surrounding landscape was left intact and clean when they finished. We can highly recommend choosing Mike Rosian for your deck project.

The job they did was beyond all my expectations. It is beautiful. The attention to detail was exceptional. My backyard looks like a picture from a gardening magazine. Michael has done work for me before so I already knew the quality of the work and if possible I am now even more impressed. The workmen were very nice.

In 2015 we moved into a new construction home and had a 8' x 10' "builders special" deck on the back of the house. I had 5 deck builders come out that I found through Angie's list and found Michael to have the best design with the most straight forward attitude. We wanted a maintenance free deck. He offered a product we were not familiar with and asked to be able to see a finished deck. After looking at the deck we liked his work. He was up front about being 6 weeks out which was fine for us but he was very good with communicating as we got closer to the date. He coordinated the permit with the village and left us with no worries. His workers were polite and showed up on time. The project took about 7 days and the neighbors tells us how beautiful it turned out. Even though I could see Mike's vision it turned out better than I expected. A few weeks after the deck was completed Mike followed up with a call to see if we were satisfied. To me this speaks volume because most of the time you never hear from the person again.

We do not fault Rosian Construction for postponing because of an illness. The unfortunate part of the experience, however, was there was NO communication for months. We lost two years for the project as we had to start all over and find a new contractor. We do give credit to Rosian Construction, however .... after MANY months of inquiries, our deposit was finally returned.

Reportedly, he became ill and could not start the work. It was very, very difficult getting any communication from his company regarding his condition, status of the project, or if/when the project could be started. EVen though his references indicated that they were happy with his past work and he seemed knowledgeable and experienced, he seemed to have problems getting his plans approved by our city's Building Department. In the end, after waiting months for a refund of our sizable deposit, we received a check for most (but not all) - with no explanation or further communication. We concluded that he was probably a one-man business (using part-time laborers when needed) who ran into health and financial difficulties. Under those circumstances, it is hard to be be battling an illness and still keep a company going and clients and potential clients informed and happy. We wish him well (if he is still working) but caution that communications with his company was completely unsatisfactory and not at all professional.

First contacted Rosian Construction in Feb of 2016. Construction was to begin 1st week of May. Start date kept slipping. After weeks of no communication, we finally were able to reach Rosian Construction. It seems that Mr. Rosian had some serious health issues. It was very difficult to get any information about the status of our project - we received no proactive emails, letters, or phone calls. Finally, after repeated calls and emails, we received a refund for the project and was told that Rosian Construction would not be able to build our deck. While the refund amount was -nearly- the full amount, it was still short by several hundred dollars. It has now been more than two months without any further communication from Rosian Construction - no acknowledgement of receipt of emails, no returned phone calls. We have lost a full summer of being able to enjoy our (non-existent) deck. We wish him a full recovery but we do not even know if he recovered, is still in business, or if he even passed away. When we signed the contract with Rosian Construction we were told that the business was more than just one person (although we never spoke with or met anyone else). Perhaps this is not the case. We wish him well but would like responses to our emails and calls of inquiry and would like the rest of the reimbursement from him, someone in his company, or an executor managing his estate (if he passed away).

A high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

Michael was amazing, and so was his team! I have several disabled people in my home that needed some adaptive pieces on our deck and he was more than happy to accommodate our plan to suit their needs. He was prompt and walked me through the entire process. He price was right where I wanted to be and I felt that I got a lot for my money. The deck is beautiful and perfect for our needs.

Mike was great to work with. He spent the time with us to help make sure we got exactly what we want. The final prouct is amazing and exceeded all expecations. i would highly reccomend Mike and his company in the future.
