 + -1 moreThe Home Deport employees in the carpet department were knowledgeable about the product. The ordering process was smooth. The installers did a good job, were professional and they did what they were supposed to do. There were no problems. They were right on time when they said they were going to be. I would use Home Depot again in the future.
Description of Work: We bought our carpet through Home Depot and a contractor hired by Home Depot installed the carpet for us.

home remodeling
 + -1 moreAfter finding out what we needed, the salesperson quoted us for both jobs. We had already received two quotes from other companies so we thought we knew what the price might be. Home Depot's price was three times higher than one of our companies and two times higher than the other. The salesperson encouraged us to go with Home Depot due to reputation, but we didn't feel like the price was justified. We have decided to use one of the other companies.
Description of Work: We received a quote to demo a shower, create a tile shower, tile the floor, remove walls, and paint new walls (very small bathroom). We also needed another shower demolished and tiled. They sent out a salesperson to go over what we wanted to do and then provided a quote on the spot.
