Wally installed a hot water tank on 3-23-20. The pilot light started to go off the week of 9-28-20. I called Wally on 10-02-20 and asked him to come take a look at it. He said he was on vacation and asked me to call him back next week. I contacted Wally on 10-08-20. He agreed to come on 10-09-20. On the morning of 10-09-20 Wally contacted me and asked me to reschedule to 10-12-20, because Menards didn't have the part in stock. On 10-12-20, Wally showed up without the part. First he told me that it was a draft that was causing the pilot light to go out. I said that was not an issue with the previous hot water tank. Then he said that there was not enough pressure to keep the pilot light lit. He said he would contact the manufacturer to get a new hot water tank and that he would be back 10-15-20 or 10-16-20 to install it. On 10-14-20, I followed up with Wally to see what day he was coming. He said that it would now need to be 10-17-20. On the morning of 10-17-20, Wally called to say that he would not make it and that he would come on 10-18-20 at 11:00. I texted Wally on 10-18-20 at 12:00 to see where he was. No response. I called Wally at 1:10 and again no response. I then sent an email at 2:58pm requesting a refund. Only then did Wally called me. I told him I was tired of chasing him for two weeks and that his behavior was unacceptable. He then started yelling at me saying that I was not chasing him. Evidence above indicates otherwise. He then said that even though he was on his way that he was not coming now, because I was yelling. He said I could call the manufacturer myself to get a replacement. What an unpleasant experience.
