Omarr arrived on time and preceding in removing the old fixtures and installing the new ones.I was very happy with the outcome and would use this company again in the future.

Omar, whom I presume is the owner of Excel, called back very shortly after I left my initial phone inquiry, probably within 15 minutes. His manner is pleasant and professional. He assured me that he and his firm were familiar with the type of repair I needed. A service date was set within a very reasonable time frame. Omar and an employee were on time the day of the job. A previous appointment had kept them slightly longer than anticipated and Omar was sure to communicate with me about his slightly revised ETA. Much appreciated. They both worked steadily and efficiently for about four hours. They used parts and materials current with modern standards to replace the the existing 60-year-old materials. The new riser they installed is very heavy-duty and modern-looking compared to the old and it meant that I no longer needed the support stanchion that ran up through the roof alongside the riser. Elimination of the stanchion meant one less hole through the shingles of my roof, which is always a good thing. A brand-new electric meter was also installed as part of the job. I have nothing but thanks for Omar and his company. The job was done well and they were very easy to do business with. A+

Omar was fantastic. He got back to me right away, came out very quickly to take a look at the work to be done and even showed up the day of the job a little bit early which I thought was fantastic. The waterproofing company paid for the service since they caused the damage, but he treated me as if I was the one paying.

I was very happy with them. They kept coming back and made sure everything was okay, and I really liked that. They really went far up the hill to me. I had inside lights which they did well. The outside lights were blinking on and off, and they kept coming back until they made it right. They did not stop until they made that thing right. So I was very happy about that. I’ve got excellent feedback for them. They had different prices and I thought it was okay.

Omar & Excel Electric are excellent to work with! I used them for this job and another when I was doing repairs on house I had up for sale. The house had the original breaker panel, from Federal Electric. For those of you that do not know, these are considered faulty breaker boxes, and were common in houses built between 1950-1990. You can't get much better than Square-D for this type of equipment. The work was done quickly, and professionally. I would not hesitate to use Omar and Excel Electric again!!!!! P.S. - I did use them again for a smaller job of Rewiring a GFE outlet that was problematic ($140). Same great service!!!

It went like clockwork. Omar told me in the initial phone call that he would arrive at my brother's on the given day between noon and 2:00 p.m. He said he would call and let me know when he was on his way. He sure did! I was sitting out in front in the car waiting for him at 11:30 and at 11:35, he called. He said he would be there in about 1/2 hour. He arrived 1/2 hour later. He looked at what needed to be done and told me that it would be a smaller job than he thought and the charge would be less than he quoted me on the phone. Omar's partner arrived shortly after to give him a hand. I'm not an electrician, so I don't know all the correct terms to use to describe what Omar and Terry did. This is what I know. Omar cut the new pipe to the correct size and put a custom bend in it so it would fit exactly when going from the brick on the house up to the wood trim. The wires were then fished through the pipe. They attached the new pipe to the masthead. There were a few other steps in the process which I cannot remember. I know they connected the wires, reconnected the electricity, and voila!! Done in about an hour and 10 minutes. Omar and Terry were very professional! I was pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate what-so-ever to recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done! As a retired teacher, I would give Omar and his partner Terry an A++

One person came out. He did a wonderful job; it looks perfect. It took him a very short time to get it done and he also took me to the store to pick out exactly what I wanted. We got along well and had a terrific time. He was very helpful.

Omar was great and all his workers. Came on time. Put in all underground wiring for my Pool installation and installed gfi box. I had many questions about my pool set up and they took the time to explain everything to me. We have a salt water pool and had special hook up for our Nano salt equipment. Would definitely recommend them to all my friends.

I called Omar early in the morning on 6/26/14. He was already busy at work on another job. I told him that my outside light fixture was not working and asked if he could come out the same day to repair it. He was already booked for the day but Omar said he would give me a call back in the early morning. About 45 minutes later Omar was calling me back to say he was on my street and he would be pulling up soon! As usual Omar did a great job! Very professional and customer service driven. He went out of his way to fit me into his already busy schedule. He came and assess the problem, explained what was the problem and worked very fast. After Omar completed the job he told me there was no charge. I will be calling on Omar very soon to take care of more electrical needs around the house. I highly recommend Omar for all your electrical needs.

From the time I called to get an appointment, Omar was extremely professional. He gave me an accurate quote over the phone, and we scheduled an appointment. He came out and took down the old fixture (we have 20 foot ceilings), didn't complain about the height and then he took special care to install our new fixture. Here is what really set him apart from other electricians: 1) once the new fixture was up, we noticed that the base that covers the wires on the ceiling was not as large as the previous fixture and so we could see a "ring" around it where the paint needed to be touched up. I wasn't planning on having a painter come and touch this up, and it was unlikely that I would be getting up on a ladder of the size, so I was a little worried that I would be stuck with a new fixture that looked bad b/c of the paint job. Omar asked if I had the ceiling paint (I did) and he offered to touch it up for me while he was up there. He will be the first to say he is not a painter, but he did an excellent job and the ring is now gone. Perfection! 2) After installing the light he double checked the dimmer switch we had for the old fixture and found that the voltage wasn't going to be enough on the switch. He ran to Home Depot and texted me some dimmer switch options so that I could be part of the decision for which switch I wanted on our wall. Now I feel safe knowing it was done right, and I like the solution we came up with for the switch. Long story short, I feel like he actually likes his job, cares about his clients and wants to do the best job he can for us. Hire this guy for your next job and keep him in business!!

I explained my problem and he gave me an estimate over the phone for a trip charge visit and to change one GFI outside would be $150 and if any other GFI was damaged it would be an additional $59.00. He was extremely professional and I would trust him to use.

They got the job done and took everything on themselves from offering a great price compared to other companies and doing the research for me to get the job done right (within code) and done well. Omar is the one that did the leg work and was the one that I spoke with throughout and did the work at my house as well. His professionalism, fairness in pricing, friendliness, hard work, and quality of work is why I would go with Excel again and would recommend them to anyone else who needs electric work done.

Omar was responsive and punctual. He was knowledgeable and made himself available to help us with our renovation. We will use Omar in the future.

Beautiful work. Faster than other electricians who'd done work here. I like that you get the price upfront. He's not super cheap, but it's beyond worth it. I highly recommend them.

My furnace was not coming on. The furnace company said that there was a problem with the electricity so I called Excel. Of course this happened the first time we had really cold weather this year! The service guy (sorry, don't remember his name) was able to come out that same day. He was very courteous and professional. He checked the electric supply and discovered that the problem was in the circuit breaker box. He was able to fix the problem quickly, and to explain to me what had happened. He seemed to have a good understanding of how old house wiring works. I was very happy to get my furnace working again! I would definitely use Excel again.
