It went good.

I called two other electricians before I found Omar on Angie's List- neither of them called me back, which was disappointing. Omar was great; he was very punctual in regard to returning my call and scheduling our appointment. He was polite and did a great job at our house with the work he did that day and the estimates he gave us for our future work. I will be using him again, absolutely.

I would give them high ratings all across the board. The price included all the parts and labor for the 3 jobs. They were able to respond quickly to my service call request even though it wasn't an emergency. They seemed to do a good job and I plan to use them again. I am somewhat critical on price in most cases, but considering the time spent on the job I think I can give them an "A" in this case.

The Excel representative arrived on time and was very professional. Was very neat and cleaned up after the job was completed.

Given a total of $257 plus cost of motion detector. Advised that if neighbors wanted motion detectors would divide come out/service costs plus $35 cost of motion detector. When told I had 10 or more, I was told $45 plus $35. What was divided?

Omar returned my call promptly and set up the appointment. Arriving precisely on time, he started on the project for which I had initially called him out - the switch that lost power without the circuit breaker having been tripped. He systematically worked his way through the wiring until he found the problem and corrected it. Then I asked him to help with the additional two projects - which I had not previously mentioned - and he was wholly agreeable. Quickly repairing those minor issues, I then mentioned future projects and he gave me a verbal estimate of the cost. During the entire process, he was cheery, kept the space clean, and was exceedingly professional. He also charged me only for the first project!

I found Excel on Angie's list and called the company the owner Omar answered. I explained the work I wanted done and he gave me the quote over phone. Because of the company's rating on Angie's List and Omar's ability to quote the job over the phone I told him I wanted him to do the job. We scheduled the appointment for two days later and he and his team showed up on time to start the work. He and I went over the work to be done and the locations for the outlets. We had agreed I would purchase the lights before the work was to start. Because of the color I purchased Omar had to run to get a part which would match the color of the light fixture. However his team continued the work while he was gone. After his return Omar explained he had a job to quote and his team would finish the work and I would settle the account with one of his employees. The team finished the job in just over three hours and I am very happy with the results. I have some additional work I will have done over the summer and will not even consider another company.

The man that came out was willing and able to come out so promptly around the holidays. He was professional, efficient, and did a good job.

I was very pleased with this company from start to finish. They returned my initial call in ten minutes and verified that they could perform the work I required. I was quoted two prices with an explanation of how the price would be determined. Both quotes sounded fair and I hired them to do the work. On the day of the appointment, two young men arrived early, introduced themselves and promptly went about inspecting the site where the work would be done. After the inspection, I was quoted the lower of the two prices I was given over the phone. They completed the work, cleaned up, and were very careful carrying supplies in and out of my home. I was even given a discount even though I did not have the coupon that was available on their website. As a senior person, I try to be very careful about selecting companies to come into my home. I relied on the evaluations on Angie's list and I was not disappointed.

My laundry room has a drop ceiling and only one small lighted panel and I could never see in there very well. Omar replaced one of the panels with a large rectangular light panel and voila! I can see. The other projects were completed by Omar and his assistant and they did a good job and finished in a timely manner. They were professional and courteous. I was satisfied with the price which was exactly what was quoted.

My company has used Exel for all of the electrical work for our properties since discovering Omar on Angie's List. His prices are competitive, his work is neat, orderly and to code. We intend to continue our relationship with his company for the foreseeable future.

They charged me $140 for an hour for the fee. It did sound pretty reasonable. This was my first time working with them. I didn't really do a lot of competitive shopping, but their price did seem reasonable.

They were punctual, polite and did a great job for a great price! The work was so good, I am having them back to install new lighting.

Mr. Omar was very helpful and prompt. He did an install that got pretty involved. He had to shorten some wires to make the lutron switches fit properly. He also replaced a bad switch that had never worked properly. He also rewired my kitchen lights so that one area could be lighted and another not lighted if I didn't want (going green and saving on electric bills). He was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend his company and will call on him again if needed.

I was pleased from beginning to end with the work and professionalism Excel offered. I met with Omar (Owner) in November for a walk through to explain what I needed and wanted. He was very patient with me during the walk through; at the time the home was being gutted. Omar pointed out how the old pipes could be used again and was able to point out how the house originally had sconces but wiring was hidden behind the walls so we was able to bring them back. I did not want to take away from the homes original element so he suggested for me not to add recess lights throughout the home but just certain areas. Excel began to work on the home about 2-3 weeks after meeting with Omar. They set up all the wiring within a week. I took a break for the holidays and Excel came back to install the light fixtures and detectors to the home. They helped make this process go very smoothly by just being professional and courteous. I plan on calling them again when it's time to do the basement.

Omar did a fantastic job and I was very pleased to find an honest person. It's very easy to be taken advantage of when you have no working knowledge of a house system.

Omar did a great job. He is very professional and did a wonderful job. He was timely and very reasonable in terms of price. I am very happy with the work he performed. He was also very tidy. He cleaned up after himself and did not leave a spec of dirt. I am very pleased. I would hire him again and have referred him to other individuals.

The electrician was very efficient and friendly. He came about 15 minutes later then the appointed schedule, but in all honesty our home is somewhat difficult to find. He removed the old chandelier and replaced it with the new one. When it came time to actually install it permanently he called me into the room to ask me exactly how high I wanted it. We tried several heights before I made my final decision. He put all the light bulbs and shades on the fixture and we both admired the finished product and the ambiance of the light it produced. He offered to take the old chandelier outdoors for me but I told him we would handle it. He was there about an hour. It was all very smooth and expedient.

The work was done quickly and professionally. He did not have a dimmer switch with him but I said we didn't need one so he installed a press up or down switch to turn the light on or off, which actually is better for my elderly mother. He then told me that the service charge fee was for an hour and if there was anything I wanted done, electrically, he would do it. I had him fix the outlets, adjust the switches and even look at a lamp that had fallen and no longer worked. He did everything I asked, explained what he did and was done with all the jobs within the hour.

They were very good and the price was more than reasonable. The guy was very personable. I'm very satisfied.

Omar returned my call the same day and was able to come to give me an estimate the next evening. His estimate was reasonable compared to similar work I had done recently during the construction of my new house. He was easy to work with in scheduling a convenient time to do the work. Because of the agreed upon late start time on the first day, he finished the job on the second day. He performed the job in a professional manner and consulted with me to insure fixtures and switches were being placed exactly where I wanted them. The quality of his work was excellent and very neat without making a mess from cutting holes in the ceiling and walls. Where necessary he cleaned up with his own broom and dust pan.

Omar himself did the work. He communicated about when he would arrive, and clearly answered any questions I had. He worked steadily and nothing ruffled him. The work he did was excellent, and he cleaned up every speck of sawdust, wire bits, packaging, etc when he was finished.
