Omar went out of his way to come to our house last night, after normal hours, and repair a junction box that was wired incorrectly. We were without power to the entire back of our house, including two bedrooms and bathrooms. He worked quickly and explained everything he had done and answered all of the questions we had. We expected to pay much more for the services performed and were prepared for the worst but the price was very reasonable and much lower then we expected. We would call Excel and Omar for any other issues we have in the future.

He is fantastic. We have used him several times. He is very thorough and very good at explaining electrical problems for the lay persons. We found him on Angie's List and he gives us an Angie's List discount.

I had two coach lights installed and the lamppost repaired that the landscapers swore they didn't damage when they put sod down in July. Omar was prompt both for the estimate and the installation and did an excellent job. There was no clean up for me to do which is a huge plus in my opinion and the price was great. I will use them again for any electrical problems in the future and would highly recommend them.

Based on Angies Lists reviews - I provided my mother with contact information for Excel. My folks are elderly and were having the bathroom remodeled and needed additional outlets installed in the bathroom. The home is old and had only one outlet down near the floor. Although I don't know how much he charged - my Mom was very pleased. Not only was he prompt and reasonable - we was very kind and personal. They also wanted a dimmer switch installed (which my Mom purchased locally) but it didn't work with the lights. He went the extra mile (thank you) and returned the switch for her. He has since done some minor electrical fixes (bad switch in the kitchen and outdoor security light fix) and he went above and beyond for them. I am so pleased to find someone who not only does good work at good prices but doesn't take advantage. Thanks Excel! Not only are you allowing my folks to remain (safely) in their home a little longer but we don't have to worry about fixing it ourselves.

Omar called to let me know he was 30 minutes away and arrived when he said he would. I provided the fixtures and showed him where they were to be installed and he went to work. He was on to the second fixture before I had time to go check on him to see if he needed anything (WHAT??) and had begun the second exterior fixture. My exterior junction was raised and Omar took a bit of time explaining how it would sit and look once it was installed because the fixture would not sit flush on the wall. I appreciated his time and explanation, but had a feeling that would be the case. The fixture went up and he was on to the last one inside. The last fixture was just as quick as the first two. I can't say how long he was on the premises, but it was much faster than I expected. Omar was quite, polite, nice, efficient and knowledgable. If all of the employees at Excel Electric are like Omar, I think I have found a company I can trust with work on my property. (They might be a little expensive, but who wants to mess with their electricity?!!)

I am so pleased with the work Excel performed!!! This was a big job and an old electrical system so I needed a contractor who did quality work, knowledgeable of old homes and trustworthy. So I did my homework on Angie's list. After much investigating and obtaining estimates from various contractors Excel Electrical was by far the best choice all around. Omar came out and viewed the work to be done. I found Omar to be very honest. I asked him if the wiring in my house was safe and if it's needs rewiring. Omar gave me his opinion and said the wiring was in good shape. This was an opportunity for Omar to make more money, but he choose to be honest instead. He wrote up an estimate on the spot. His demeanor is very calm, confident, professional and listens to his client's requirements. Some of the other contractors I encountered was "rough around the edges", somewhat aggressive, and did not listen to what I wanted done. They were to busy telling me what they were going to do. On the scheduled day the work began Omar, and his employees Israel and A.J.came out and went right to work. They were very organized, polite, and willing to answer any questions. The project lasted 2 days. Day 1 was breaking down the old electrical system, installing the service upgrade, and installing new circuit breaker electrical system one person was breaking something down, the other drilling holes, Omar was primarily supervising making sure the job went smoothly. Day 2 was installing the 3-prong outlets, dimmer switch, and motion sensor lights. Everything went really smooth like clock work. Excel is very respectful of your property! Each day they thoroughly cleaned up behind themselves. When they were done you could not tell that that they had even been there! Throughout the process Omar was very accommodating and responsive to my phone calls. Omar really value his customers satisfaction. After the completion of the job Omar asked if I was completely satisfied with their work and the answer was a resounding YES! Thank you so much Excel Electrical Technologies for a stress free experience. I will definitely be using them again in the very near future.

We were vey impressed with the professionalism of the entire crew. Very neat. The work turned out great. We definitely consider these guys as our electricians!

He found the loose wire and the problem fixture. He replaced the fixture and reconnected the wire. He also checked and repaired the wall switch.

It was fantastic. Mr. Muhammed was very thorough and professional. I really appreciated how he explained everything he was doing and addressed any and all concerns I had. I experienced water damage and was concerned about the impact on the wiring, yet he was able to utilize his professional expertise to let me know what was and was not impacted. I plan on using his services again.

EXCEL ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGIES...I had a 3 man crew (Omar, A.J., & Israel) and these gentlemen were awesome. They all were very polite and kind. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were extremely professional and prompt. They arrived on time and properly introduced themselves to me. Rewiring takes several hours but this crew works very quietly. Once the job was completely I was more than happy and pleased. When they were done,, there was no evidence they were here other than the beautiful work they did. Oh, did I mentioned they cleaned up behind themselves before they departed and the price is very fair & reasonable. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME. I would definitely recommend this Company.

They were "EXCEL"LENT. The crew of two were on time and prepared to work. The crew removed and measured the limited space for the new box and called the owner with the measurements. The owne.arrived with the new eqiupment within a half hour . I had been quoted in the estimate that the job would take two days, but Omar the owner, came and had two two other workers and they finished in one day. They cleaned up thouroughly before they left. Great job.

They were great and easy to work with. They showed up on time, cleaned up after the project was complete and finished everything within 3 hours. We have some additional electrical projects and we will definitely call Excel Technologies.

They were awesome not just because they were one of the few electricians who returned my phone call about such a small job. While we decide to only have them move 2 outlets instead of 3 at the last minute, they still gave me the discounted price per outlet that they had quoted me on the phone for doing 3. They gave me options as to how to move the outlet that would possible cause less damage to the drywall. It not be as aesthetically pleasing. Overall they did an awesome job and I will have them return for future projects.

Mr. Muhammad and his employees have done excellent work on a several electrical and low-voltage wiring projects over the past six months as we settled into a house built in 1900. We have found him to be responsive and trustworthy, and appreciate the professional manner in which he explained the requirements of what we wanted. He was also sensitive to the aesthetics of doing work in an old house such as this one -- we wanted a contractor who would take responsibility for ensuring that any holes, etc. that the work required would be professionally repaired. We obtained competing estimates for the initial job (installing outlets for wall mounted TVs, running HDMI/audio cable, and ~12 ethernet drops on three floors) and found Excel to be competitively priced. The job required the wiring to be run to or through plaster and lathe walls where we didn't know what was behind them. Mr. Muhammad's crew was somehow able to fish most of the wires, through some impressively tight spaces. The places where they had to cut into the ceiling to get between floors were patched so well as to be indistinguishable from the surrounding area. Based on that experience, we hired Mr. Muhammad to move our incoming electric/phone/cable service from an unsafe and unsightly location within reach of a hot tub into an underground conduit running through the back yard. He coordinated with the utility companies to conducted the transfer while we were out of town, minimizing the inconvenience of having the power off while we were home. Of course, this required giving Mr. Muhammad the keys to our place -- an uncharacteristically trusting decision for us. Mr. Muhammad promised to keep them in his possession, and we have had no thefts or adverse consequences that would cause us to regret that decision. The trench across the lawn, which was satisfactorily leveled (we did lose some grass and a few plants in it's path, which was unavoidable). We also had Mr. Muhammad install some motion activated lights on our porches, and run a few more ethernet drops to external locations for security cameras. This access required additional cutting through the plaster, but was patched well enough that I can't tell where he did it. All of this work was completed satisfactorily, and in a timely manner. Mr. Muhammad was responsive via email. He was very flexible in scheduling inspections for his estimates, and meetings to review the completed work before payment, late in the evening or on weekends. He was also very flexible in accommodating last-minute changes to the work we wanted done, without exploiting them as a chance for additional markup. He personally performed or was on-site to oversee a good deal of this work. This compared very favorably with other contractors we've dealt with who have sent someone like him to do the estimating, while the workwas performed by people who were less professional, less articulate, and occasionally downright unpleasant or sketchy.

Omar arrived promptly and gave an estimate. He was very professional and provided his opinion on what I wanted done. Based on Angie's list and my neighbors recommendation I decided to go with him eventhough he was the most expensive. Once I let him know we decided on a date and Omar came for the install. Once he took a second look he realized a second person was needed for the light install so we had to schedule that part for a different day. He was able to repair the one flood light above the garage that did not have power the same day. He came back on a different day with a helper and installed the new light and outlet. Several weeks after the initial repair the garage light broke again and I called Omar. We agreed on a date for him to come out a fix the original repair. As a follow-up, Omar arrived on the agreed upn date which whas over a week from my call du to my schedule. I did not need to call him and check...he contacted me the morning of to share his arrival time. Once here he went through trouble shooting and identified the root cause of the issue which was an underground vault, over 100 years old, that contained the original shorted out wires the house was built with. Omar was open to my opinions and went above the call of duty to open a garage without power and ultimately solve the issue. I would strongly recommend this small business.
