They did a wonderful job. Their communication was good and we set up a date. They came when they said they would and did the work. I was very pleased.

My only complaint is he was a little late which was fine but when he arrived at the premises he had parked in front of a fire hydrant to tell me was here and had to go find parking and I was put on the clock at that time. I think the clock should have started once he entered my door to do the work, not for him to find parking. The handyman did a nice job.

Tom scheduled my work to begin immediately, and his partner (Darius) and another worker arrived the following day to complete the list of "honey do" items I needed to have done. They were professional and extremely competent. I am very happy with their work and would hire them again when needed.

We purchased this Big Deal as a gift to relatives. They needed flooring repaired in a couple of places in their house (inside the sliding glass doors, in front of the kitchen sink, their daughter's bathroom floor). They had already picked out the replacement flooring, and had worked up a plan for how they wanted it installed. This gift was a huge success!!! Work was done exactly as they wanted (their plans were a bit complicated!), and they were extremely happy about the outcome :)

They came right on time, actually the day I purchased the deal. Very pleasant, however they didn't clean my downspouts. I had to go through and clean the downspouts. They also bagged the leaves in plastic, which was against our city codes (and the city codes for the surrounding areas).

DT Group did a great job however they sent one of their junior employees who was not as experienced as I would have hoped. I ended up assisting with much of the work which defeated the purpose of hiring someone to do it for me. Next time I will insist that they send an experienced person.

They came quickly within 2 days of the call. The got there and cleaned the gutters and unclogged 6 down spouts. Fast, Friendly, and Efficient. Will use them every year at that price. Thanks!

My daughter lives in a condo in Chicago; I live in NY. We purchased the condo two years ago, and did quite a bit of renovating before she moved in - wood floors installed, crown moulding, wall removal, painting, plumbing - ALL through Angie's List, ALL a wonderful experience. So she was wanting a tile backsplash, and when I saw a "Big Deal" for hanydman services, which specifically listed tile installation as one of their many services, I bought TWO four hour deals to be sure there would be adequate time for the tile and any other little things she might have in mind for them to do if possible. After purchase I received a call. I said it's a tile backsplash but wanted to schedule it for later in the summer (coupon expired Labor Day) because we needed to purchase tile, etc. My daughter scheduled a date. Approx a week before the agreed date she received a call asking if she had a tile cutter! (Of course not). No where on the offer did it say we had to provide the tools to do the work...nor did that ever occur to me. She sent a picture of the tile. They looked at it. Said they could make do without her having to rent a tile cutter. Repeatedly mentioned the addl time would cost $65 per hour. Day before called and asked if they could send two men for four hours instead of one for eight....as they would not be able to grout tile on same day anyway. Asked what else she needed done. She asked them to cut a piece of crown moulding that had been placed in such a way that she could not get the bracket on her blind open to take it down. They refused. Backsplash looks fine. She grouted herself. Could have had a tile installer do all of it for the price we paid. All in all, I would recommend they NEVER be eligibleto participate in a "Big Deal" promotion again.

Work was okay but stain is bubbled on porch, flooring not great - you can see where they cut trim and it sometime comes up and have to tap it down with my foot.

It was, without a doubt one of the wprst experiences I have ever had with a service. It startede when I called to make the appt. Cecelia was confrontational from the beginning. When I called I stated I had a metal shed that needed a new floor as the old one had some rotted areas. I emptied out the shed, when they arrived they looked at the shed and went to get the supplies I had already ordered and paid for @ home depot (less than .5 miles from the house). They were gone for 2.5 hours as they had not brought a big enough truck to fit 12ft plywood and had to go back to the office. I had paid for 2 workwrs , 4 hours each (8 hours). After 2 hours of prying the shed off it's foundation and setting it up on blocks they decided they need more men to mover the shed and asked me if I could get more men there??? I said no, they said they could not do the job so we called the office. Cecelia stated that they would finish it in five days and it would cost me another $600. I asked why they started a job that they did not think they could finish and Cecelia stated I had misrepresented the job and I told her it was a 3x5 shed. I stated I had never gave her dimensions as I had not measured until a few days before the job so I could get supplies, she then stated that I had not told the truth in several matters and again I had misrepresented the job and therefore forfeited my money!!!!! So, I had been called a liar, they walked off the job until I gave them more money, and they damaged the shed and left everything a mess. The manager Tom was unwilling to speak to me without Cecelia on the line interrupting me before I could finish one sentence! I told them not to come back and I wanted my money back as I had paid for 8 hours and only got 3. They refused and again stated I forfeited my money as I lied to them??? seriously. I felt they should not started the job had they even remotely thought they could not finish but to start and then demand more money to finish is a scam. They were unprofessional and unreliable.

They were just great! They were on time, helpful, knowledgable.

It went well. The company had anticipated it would take 2 people to complete the jobs, and I paid an additional 99.00 upfront, but only one man came and really that's all that was needed. Since only one man came I was refunded the extra $99.00 after 2 weeks. That was the only problem. The handyman did a very good job.

I think the ceiling was not installed properly, the shelving was fine. I had an electrician come and look at the fan since it was not working properly. I would have him come back and do other jobs, just not fan work.

I purchased the deal because I needed them to come out a look at a ceiling and exhaust fan. I let them know I had the replacement parts on hand and they told me they could not do the work me.

Purchased the handyman deal for 8 hours to have my foyer, stairway and second floor hallway repainted (minus the celing). Cesar arrived and worked diligently only stopping for lunch. I was concerned about him painting the stairway which is quite high and his ladder reaching but being tall he was able to reach. He did a wonderful job and was very quick. He noticed that the third can of paint was not the same color and was a bit darker so he used every drop from the two cans of paint to paint all that he can in the foyer. He was very neat and organized. I would definitely hire him to paint or to work on other projects since he has the experience and has a good work ethic and is very polite. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Quality of work was terrific and I would hire this company again!

The work went well - they were able to get every done with two staff in four hours. One handle was set incorrectly, but they were quick to respond to my request to fix it. The fix was accomplished professionally and at no cost - you can't even tell it was tweaked!

Cesar was on time, knocked out the disposal hookup and swap out of a receptacle, then tackled the bathroom. He ended up having to move 3 electrical boxes and patch walls before he could hang the medicine and wall cabinets and put in the vanity. Turned out the old vanity top wouldn't work, so we had to end it there. Never got to the outside project as we ran out of time. Cesar was neat, competent and worked steadily the time he was there. He probably could have finished the entire bathroom project had I had the parts needed. I'd ask for him again.

The young man was on time and was knowledgeable. He was able to complete all jobs within the 4 hour time frame. He answered all my questions too.

I just got off the phone with the owner. They're telling me that I never had a conversation with my primary contact before the email chain that followed. Basically they're telling me that what I was told never occurred. Cecilia has been very proactive & prompt in responding. I was traveling for work the first couple days she responded, so I told her I'd call when I was back in town. We spoke the next week. When we were on the phone together, I asked about whether or not they could do the services I needed - She assured me that they could do whatever I needed. I told her that I'd put a list together & send it via email. She wrote back & said that she wasn't sure that they could do a 50' backsplash. There were more & more questions following - which was irritating because I'd asked about the particular services on the phone already. It took about a month of back & forth - I sent pictures, answered the questions, & explained the service more thoroughly. She responded that the backsplash isn't a handyman job & wouldn't be included in the coupon. So, I called today & spoke to the owner Tom to try & sort this out. Initially, he reference the first conversation I had with her - He said she didn't understand or know that that service wouldn't be covered. Then he said the conversation never happened! He admitted to it, plead ignorance of his staff, & then back tracked & said we'd never talked! Also, I'd bought two coupons. The fine print said that all hours had to be done in one day - He insisted that both coupons needed to be done on one day, not just each which was not specified on the Deal. He then kept talking about how they wouldn't make any money if they came out days in a row. That's not my concern! He put the coupons out there & apparently should've been more careful about what he was offering if he was going to be so argumentative. There was no rational conversation being had; I eventually hung up & called Angie's list for a refund.

We build our deck in our backyard which we have been wanting to do for a long time. Tom and Darius had a great design idea that fit in to our yard and life style. We could not be happier with our choice. We have used them prior this project and we will continue to use them in the future.

Everything was great - very efficient, correct and attentive. They were polite and did everything I wanted. I am very happy with their work and definitely would hire them again. The company is a full-service home repair / construction co. - the owner is a contractor and gets very good workers. No problems at all and their cleanup was great.

The experience couldn't have been any better. The two people who showed up to do the work were courteous, polite, talented and knew exactly what they needed to do. Would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

He did an adequate job. I anticipated that I would buy the necessary materials for the job, but he insisted that he be the one to do it. This was frustrating because he counted the time spent purchasing materials towards the the two hours that I purchased in the Big Deal. He also added a 10% markup on the materials. Ultimately, the jobs were done well, but I am dissatisfied with their execution.
