Tom was scheduled to come from 8:30am-5:30pm. Instead of Tom, a young guy showed up that I did not know. I showed him around, but he did not know how to do the work, and he did not bring any tools with him. Nobody e-mailed me; nobody called me. I have furniture moved around and have all of this chair railing and crown molding on the floor waiting to be installed. I even purchased the proper nails that Tom requested to do the work today. The kid said, “Well, you can call us and we can come back on Monday.” I did call the office back and, of course, got a machine for the guy to call me. But I had planned a bridal shower this weekend, and things are in disarray. This is not good service. He really put me in a bind here. I could be more lenient if I didn’t have this shower scheduled. The young kid showed up on time, but without tools. He was easy to contact. But not his boss. His boss was unresponsive on the phone.I bought what was a very good deal, but I want to get quality service for a full 8 hours, and he sends this other kid out. A phone call or e-mail would have been nice! I want Tom to call me back. I want the work done by a professional, not someone who doesn't know what to do. If I cannot get scheduled with Tom today, I would not use this company in the future.

I had numerous small projects that I needed to have done prior to listing our condo for rent. Luckily an Angie's List Big Deal was advertised that allowed me to have almost all of my projects completed in one 8 hour work day for a very reasonable price. The person who came was prompt, clean, and professional. He was creative in solving some problems that I did not know how to solve in inexpensive ways. He wasn't able to finish everything, but that was mostly due to the fact I bought longer-setting drywall patch and he wasn't able to sand it down. I would give an A-minus on the door project (but not as low as a B), because he put stabilizing screws where the heads were on the outside of the door, not the inside where they would have been hidden, and I think he should have thought about that when he placed the screws. In all, I was very pleased with the service.

I got this coupon on AL and decided to use these guys. I was planning to get the materials shipped from HD to my home and then have these guys come by once the materials were in. Tom promptly called over the weekend before I had a chance to place the order with HD and persisted that they could come in Monday morning and offered to buy the materials on the way. He mentioned he'd charge me $50 for that although he did make it clear that he was also going to charge 10% extra on the materials. In any case, I let that pass. They came in promptly on Monday morning at 9:00 am and had the job completed in 5 hours (4 coupon +130) which seemed reasonable enough to me. Tom went out and purchased extra 2x4s without passing on the charge to me and I am appreciative of that. Tom asked for a check for the materials right away before I left. However, the invoice that came after the work did not factor this materials cost so I had to ask them to redo the invoice. Also, I noted that 5 tubes of glue, 1 heavy duty caulk and a 25lb drywall screws as well as a drywall jab saw were bought at my expense. None of the left over material were left back at the job. Besides my channel lock in the garage also went missing after the job. After my communicating with them, 3 tubes of glue and all the other items reappeared outside my door. I found one tube of glue in my trash and that leaves one more tube of glue that is at large. Why would a contractor buy such an excess of materials, get a 10% cut on the material and even worse try to keep all of it (knowingly or unbeknownst) after the job? What is the need to buy drywall saws and caulk guns in the name of materials cost? I am still missing my Bahco scraper for which I will give them the benefit of doubt. At the least the company was little apologetic when I asked about these items and they were honest about the time they spent on my property.

They they said make sure you find the right contractor because it's like a marriage they were right and we find the right contractor for our project. AWESOME
