carpet installation, flooring contractor
+ 0 moreCurtis was the man who waited on me and he seemed relatively knowledgeable, but he was rather impatient and I felt like when I asked him questions it was irritating him. He also kept trying to encourage me to buy cheaper materials for some unknown reason. Because this I decided to go a different location.
Description of Work: I had gone in to get some comparison pricing on granite floor tiles as well as carpeting.

+ -1 moreInitially the salesman was helpful and responsive to our needs. Special order took much longer than he indicated/we anticipated. Delay held up contractor more than 2 weeks. Inquired about the original special order (paid in full) we were ignored, salesman was never available again. The order was finally delivered, we were not notified/only discovered it's arrival by accident. After tile was installed we discovered flaws in the installation which required us to order additional special order tiles. Sales personnel were slow to respond and were indifferent to our need to place the order. Again, the order was placed, we were not notified of it's arrival, it took more than a month (normal turnaround was supposed to be two weeks). We discovered other major flaws in the installation, requested references for repair contractors, none of whom responded. We asked for assistance from Century Tile personnel, who essentially ignored us and showed their indifference by saying "we can't help you."
Description of Work: While no actual work was performed, we purchased a considerable amount of ceramic special ordered tile to remodel our foyer, hallway, bathroom, kitchen and breakfast room. We bought over 1000 square feet of tile for this project, including the grout, mortar, liquid additives, spacers, and sealers. The contractor (not referred by Century Tile) did the installation.

+ -1 moreWE NEEDED NEW TILE TO REPLACE SOME IN OUR BATHROOM. OUR CONTRACTOR RECOMMENDED WE COME HERE. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE GENTLEMAN WORKED WITH ME TO SELECT JUST THE TILE I NEEDED. HE EVEN CALLED OUR CONTRACTOR IMMEDIATELY WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AMOUNT OF TILE NEEDED.
Description of Work: WE USED THIS STORE TO SELECT THE TILE FOR OUR BATHROOM REMODEL.
