They were really good. I give them all A's. I would use their services again in the future.

My experience was excellent. They had a guy that represented the company and he was the only guy that came out, looked at my stuff and gave me an estimate on what my demands were, how to pack up some of our stuffs so it won’t get damaged. He actually came out twice, helped us with some information and he was very nice. He was very helpful as he brought over some boxes and I didn’t have anything from ours. He didn’t charge me for that also. He was great.

The moved started in California and went quite well there. But the delivery here was very bad. The driver apparently picked up some local workers and claimed that he was told not to bring any of his tools. So he wasn't going to put any beds or anything else that had been taken apart. I wound up giving him my tools to get it done. I had to call Allied Van Lines in California in order to get it straightened out. So I would say that it was kind of a bad move for us. The price was very competitive. We would not use them again in the future.

I had a few bids and they came in with the best price. The move went perfect and they answered a lot of questions that I had so I knew what to expect.

It was a great team. They had three individuals and they did phenomenal work for us, nothing got broken.

They were helpful, they came in and documented everything that was there. packed everything up and then delivered it. They arrived on time for the delivery and set everything up as well.

They were very good. They were on time and fast. I would use them again.

Everything went well for the most part.

They were incredibly honest. They were up front. They were quick to respond. They helped us out of a bind with another company that would not call us back.

I thought the driver was very professional and personable. Also, they were fast, well organized and everything arrived in good shape.

They were really good. The backup and delivery crew were professional. They were careful not to bang things around. If there was a problem, like one of the legs of my stool which was of inferior quality broke which was no fault of theirs they still brought it to my attention right away. Their pricing was a little higher. I would use them again in the future.

The move went well. I used them a few years back. I liked their price. They were three hours late delivering my belongings. They did break one item, but they took care of it.

The only problems we encountered were that we had to unpack and uncrate everything and get rid of all the crates and cartons. We have had trouble locating some things because the detail regarding what is in a box is not enough and sometimes there is glass or breakables packed in with towels etc which I assume was for protection (but it meant we could not find some table tops etc except by opening everything).

Even though they were expensive they were very good. They were very professional. I will not be using them again in the future; I would instead look for a cheaper company.

The experience was pretty good. We think that we are missing a box that was moved, but we didn't figure it out until much later. The price was good for the service level.

I was really concerned about all the horror stories I've heard about movers. However, they did a really good job. They communicated very well, and were professional. I would use them again if I needed to.

They are not as careful with your property as they should be. I had some things that were broken that shouldn't have been.

They were professional, efficient and very careful with our things. They did really well and accommodated our schedule. They arrived on time. My company set up the move.

We called Allied Van Lines for an in-home estimate and American Van Service (book agent) sent out a long-tenured employee to give us an estimate. After we finished receiving four other estimates, we chose Allied. Big mistake. I contacted the agent by e-mail and by phone to make sure everything was going as planned because there was no wiggle-room for errors. I told him I was nervous and just wanted to make sure everything was going well. I was assured everything was scheduled as planned and they understood how stressful moving could be, so not to worry, they were the professionals. It was just what I needed to hear, it just wasn't factual. The problem started on the first day when they didn't send enough packers to get the job done in two days. After my husband mentioned the obvious, more help arrived but it was really stressful at that point. More time seemed spent outside on a smoke break than actually getting the packing done. And when you're behind to start with, breaks should be kept to a minimum. Then on day 3, the driver arrived. He arrived on time but had picked up belongings from an earlier pick-up and couldn't fit all our stuff in his truck. Much later in the day, a second smaller truck arrived and picked up the rest of the stuff, which was mostly garage and patio things. Unfortunately though, the stuff from the second truck didn't get delivered until almost two weeks after the first delivery. Talk about inconvenient! This put a damper on our plans plus the second driver was someone different and said he wouldn't put our racks together because he wasn't the person who had disassembled them. This was true, but very poor service given the circumstances -- we didn't want our stuff divided up in two deliveries, but had no choice but to accept the situation. The first driver was certainly not Mr. Congeniality, which didn't help the situation. But worse, was American Van Service and Allied Van Lines pointing the finger at other folks and offering absolutely no customer recovery. American pointed the finger at the dispatcher; the dispatcher pointed the finger at the driver; the driver said there was a poor estimate of belongings from the customer they stopped at first, etc. And then not even offering to unpack a few things, or take empty boxes away as a form of customer recovery? We asked for a discount, given the problems, but that was unacceptable too. And to add to our aggravation, Allied called me for information and three different times I had to refer them to my husband's cell number as he had more details to share. They couldn't even call the right person, as requested. Very frustrating! This was the fourth time we've moved with a national moving company and by far, it was the worst experience. There were things bent, broke and packed in ridiculous places, but that was all small potatoes compared to everything else. Bad customer service! It's also the first time I was hesitant to pay ahead of time. I was really afraid we wouldn't get our belongings or they would be in terrible shape when they arrived. Bad feeling.

They were very good. We didn't have to pay for it as the company paid for the moving. They had broken our entertainment unit and book shelf. They sent someone to look into it and reimbursed for the entertainment unit. The book shelf was thrown away already so we couldn't prove it was broken by them.

We had a bad experience with Allied. They did not honor the additional insurance that we purchased. The movers did not know how to pack and our personal items and furniture were damaged. Things were also lost because of improper packing and moving. They were not careful with our possessions at all.

It was moving package that was offered from my husband’s job so we did not pay anything. Considering the situation they seemed a little ticked off so we did not care for their ethics. May be we had too much stuff and they had to unpack it. Instead, they started dumping stuff all over the place. They had scratched all our furniture. It was bad. They did not really break anything; it was not until they were moving stuff back that things were scratched. I guess the storage was okay. It was during the moving. Personally we would not use them again. We did not have a choice then since it was a corporate decision.

They were on time for the move and were able to stay within budget.

They are very professional. They were very responsive. The person that they sent out to the house was very thorough and professional.
