We had a great experience
Description of Work: We had a great experience with Kenny. He was on-time, courteous, worked efficiently, and was sensibly priced. He installed three ceiling fans, one which included a lighting package. I have had several fans installed in the past, and many handyman fail to anchor them properly, which causes them to click and sway. We did not have this problem. Additionally, he hung a wall-mounted pot rack.

Did not do any work.
Description of Work: Called and tried to set up an appointment. Talked briefly and then tried calling back twice to confirm appointment. No return phone call, no response to email. He comes highly recommended, but that doesn't help if he does not return phone calls.

I'm looking for a new handyman.
Description of Work: I have used Kenny several times in the past and have had good experiences, although he has always been somewhat slow to respond to requests for services. This time when I e-mailed him, he did not respond so I e-mailed him again about one week later. He responded and said he was scheduling for mid-August and that he would stop by to look at the work. I responded with my availability and I never heard from him again. The week he was scheduling for came and went without any further word from him. I needed the work done and if he couldn't do it, or didn't want to do it, he should have had the courtesy to tell me that directly.

MY SINCERE APOLOGY TO THIS MEMBER...I EXPERIENCED A HARD DRIVE CRASH FROM WHICH I AM STILL RECOVERING. THE DATA WAS UNRECOVERABLE. KENNY WAS EXTREMELY POLITE. HE CALLED BEFORE COMING TO THE HOUSE TO MAKE SURE WE WERE READY FOR HIM. HE PERFORMED THE WORK REQUESTED EFFICIENTLY, NEATLY, AND WELL. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIM, AND WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.

KENNY WAS WONDERFUL. HE WAS POLITE AND RESPONSIVE IN SETTING UP THE APPOINTMENT. HE CALLED BEFORE HE ARRIVED TO MAKE SURE I WAS READY. HE GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND KEPT ME WELL INFORMED OF HOW THINGS WERE GOING. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND EVEN TOLERATED MY CRAZY CAT. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN IN A SECOND!

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS ABOUT KENNY. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME WHEN HE GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE AND THE TWO DAYS HE DID THE WORK. HE'S FUNNY, A REALLY NICE PERSON, AND ENJOYS HIS WORK. HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB FOR ME.
Description of Work: KENNY ARRIVED ON TIME AT 8AM BOTH DAYS AND WORKED CONTINUOUSLY THE FIRST DAY TILL 5PM. THE SECOND DAY HE WORKED TILL 12:30P. HE REPLACED THE FRONT BASEBOARDS OF MY STUCCO HOUSE, FILLED AN 8'' X 14'' X 5'' DEEP HOLE WHICH WE DISCOVERED AFTER REMOVING A BOARD FROM THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. HUNG A CEILING FAN, ASSEMBLED MY AB LOUNGE, FIXED A LIGHT FIXTURE FOR MY MOM WHO LIVES 5 HOUSES AWAY, FILLED IN THE CRACKS ON THE FRONT STAIRS SO THEY COULD BE PAINTED. HE WILL BE RETURNING IN SEPT. TO DO SOME ADDITIONAL WORK.

KENNY IS HONEST & HARDWORKING. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WORKED DILIGENTLY THROUGHOUT. WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM, HE CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY (QUITE EARLY I MIGHT ADD) TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND GET IT RIGHT.
Description of Work: REPAIRED A THREE-BASIN SINK THAT SEEMED TO LEAK AT EVERY POSSIBLE POINT. HE HAD TO TAKE THE DRAINS OUT AND REINSTALL THEM CORRECTLY. IT TOOK A LONG TIME, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. BUILT BRACE FOR WEAK MASONRY HEADER.

KEN DID A COMPLETE CLEAN-UP EVERY DAY, AND, IN FACT, FROM THE MOMENT MY HUSBAND AND I FIRST MET HIM, FELT WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE AND CERTAINTY THAT WE COULD HAND OUR HOUSE KEYS OVER TO HIM WITH COMPLETE TRUST AND GO AND ENJOY OUR DAY, KNOWING THAT ALL WOULD BE FINE. HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AT $35.00 PER HOUR (HE REALLY SHOULD CHARGE MORE!), AND THOUGH, WE INITIALLY WANTED TO PAY HIM FOR HIS TIME WHEN HE FIRST CAME OUT TO SEE WHAT WE WANTED HIM TO DO (HE WAS HERE FOR ALMOST 3 HOURS), HE REFUSED THE MONEY!
