This project was a puzzle to solve. Steel rails were not safe and Robb reviewed with us what the best way to solve the problem would be. With considerations of the design of the home, the costs involved with each potential solution, and to assure that the repair was a long term solution he provided an excellent solution. The deck is stunning and now safe too. We appreciate that Robb not only is skilled but has a background of experiences that help us greatly with our projects.
Description of Work: Deck railings - added cables to make the deck safer.

Robb and his crew was able to get to us earlier than expected and they finished in good time. It went really smooth.
Description of Work: My house is about 12 years old and the windows looked to be in good shape until this year when I discovered holes where the brick molding meets the sill. The wood was rotted through and sizable holes appeared on two windows. We got an estimate on vinyl replacement windows of $500/window. The color wasn’t what we wanted, the installation would not have repaired the leak and the interior window woodwork would have to be changed. I contacted Indy Home Services and Robb Ryan come out to give us an estimate and inspection. He told us how his process was to replace the rotted wood window parts with machined PVC parts. I had never heard of it but we decided it was the best way to go. He sent out a two man crew, Dax and Josh, and they did all 10 windows in four days. Each window was stripped and the sills and brick moldings were replaced with PVC. They also applied new caulking, sanded the exterior on all sashes and primed and painted them. The PVC parts were also primed and the entire window painted. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. These two men cleaned up every day, didn’t spill paint on the brickwork or sidewalks and didn’t destroy any shrubbery. Before leaving they washed all the windows. The interior window parts were not chipped or scratched. It was money well spent and actually saved us money and potential problems in a couple of years as we found mold spots on all window framing.

We had an agreed to start and end date. Both were met. They worked on several windows at a time, put up plastic while the windows were out and put the windows back in before they left each night. They used my garage as a staging area and to work in. They swept up each night and put tools away. All rotten wood was replaced and the integrity of the structure was restored. After they finished, I had to call them back because one of the windows was not closing properly. They came back the day I called and fixed it. No further problems
Description of Work: They restored my 20 year old windows by replacing all the bad wood, caulking, priming and painting them. This was in lieu of having to replace the windows. They also replaced and repaired a couple of pieces on the inside of the window.

Robb and his team did custom restoration on our wood windows. They basically rebuilt our windows that had been damaged by sun and years of wear and tear. They did a wonderful job and rebuilt our windows with an expertise that I've not seen in a long time. From the wood they used to the skill these craftsmen displayed, was amazing. The work they did was 1/3 the cost of purchasing new windows. I highly recommend Robb and his team.
Description of Work: Robb and his team did custom restoration on our wood windows. They took the windows and sash down, took them apart and, using the existing pieces as patterns, remade the window with new wood. He rebuilt 8 windows for us.

Robb and his team was very meticulous in his work. You can tell that he takes great prides in the final product. He even came back the next day to do some more touch-up because after his final inspection he was not totally pleased. He is also going to come back in a couple weeks after things settle to do additional touch-ups. This is a craft not a lot of people do anymore. The cost was 1/3 of replacing windows!
Description of Work: Repaired wood rot/damage of 8 windows and 3 doors. Scraped off paint and caulked, replaced pieces of wood, treated wood with mildicides, filled holes with wood hardeners and preservatives and painted 2 coats of paint on each window/door. They even washed all of my windows inside and out when they were done!
