Our condo association needed to replace lampposts and sconces in our courtyard, so we asked for estimates from several companies. R & L Maintenance got the contract because they had the best proposal and they had performed well for us a few years ago on a good-sized job. Their quote was very competitive and when additional work was required after the contract was signed, the additional cost was reasonable. Conduit and wiring for lampposts had to be installed before concrete could be poured. Ron did an excellent job coordinating with the concrete contractor and the job was completed about as fast as could be inspected. R & L Maintenance did quality work, right down to the last detail. They passed their inspections without any problem and the final product has impressed many residents in our building. We would recommend R & L Maintenance to anyone looking for quality electrical work at a reasonable price.

Guy showed up, said he didn't have the right tools for the installation, left to get some. Worked for THREE HOURS on a dead-simple install of a fixture from Home Depot. Investigated other fixture for ONE HOUR before telling me that he couldn't fix it. Essentially, this guy had no experience and should not have been sent. But worse, they charged me FOUR HOURS labor, which I plan to fight.

R & L Maintenance did a great job. I was completely pleased with them. They were professional and friendly and the guys were very easy going and helpful. They aimed to please and I loved them!

R&L is a pleasure to work with - they went the extra mile to do the job right, and even added some things at no additional charge. R&L is friendly, honest and accurate. It is rare to find such a terrific combination of price, quality, and customer service.

Ron La Rose did the walk through for the proposal. He was professional and easy to work with. He noticed that the attic fan had never been connected (roofers had installed the fan but discarded some components), and suggested completing the installation with a new thermostat. The proposal was a clear bullet list and promptly sent. The work was then scheduled about 1.5 weeks after I mailed back the proposal and deposit. The project took 3 days. George and Jesse arrived each day as scheduled, 7-7:30 am. They were both friendly & professional. In several cases, they offered alternative installation options for switches & outlets, & always clarified what I expected. George even cheerfully replaced a timer I had requested (after he had clarified that I DID want a timer in that room) with a dimmer switch, when I changed my mind at the last minute. Their work was neat, including some new conduit and BX cable. They did their best to minimize damage to the plaster and lathe.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY GAVE ME VERY SHORT NOTICE THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COME AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. WHEN A COMPANY CANCELS AT THE LAST MINUTE AND THEN SAYS THEY CAN'T SERVICE YOU FOR 3 MONTHS YOU WONDER IF THEY JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE TAKING YOUR JOB.

EXCELLENT WORK. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. EVERYTHING WAS EXPLAINED TO ME PRIOR TO WORK BEING DONE. I WAS PROVIDED WITH AN ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS VERY THOROUGH IN DETAIL. I PROVIDED ALL THE FIXTURES, EXCEPT THE UNDER THE COUNTER, WHICH THEY LOCATED AND INSTALLED. SINCE I WAS GOING TO NEED NEW DRYWALL AND PAINT WORK ALONG TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT, THAT WAS EXPLAINED AS WELL AND HE PROVIDED A REFERENCE FOR THAT WORK AS WELL. THE WORKMEN WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND I FELT TOTALLY AT EASE LEAVING THEM IN MY HOME ALONE. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN AND CONSIDERATE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND DEFINITE USE THEM AGAIN.

I GOT THREE ESTIMATES FROM OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPANIES IN ANGIE''S LIST. R & L MAINTENANCE WAS NEITHER THE MOST EXPENSIVE NOR THE CHEAPEST BUT THE FIRM OFFERED SERVICE PERSONALIZED TO MY NEEDS THAT THE OTHERS DID NOT. AS I HAD NO IDEA HOW I WANTED TO ARRANGE THE CANISTERS IN THE CEILING, GEORGE AND JOSE WERE PATIENT AND HELPFUL. THEY MADE SURE I WAS HAPPY WITH THE ARRANGEMENT BEFORE THEY STARTED INSTALLING THE LIGHTS. THEY EVEN FIXED MY FRONT DOOR BELL. I HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSE AND WAS VERY COMFORTABLE LEAVING THEM TO COMPLETE THEIR JOB AND LOCK UP BEHIND THEM. I WOULD HIRE R&L MAINTENANCE AGAIN AND FEEL CONFIDENT IN SUGGESTING THEIR SERVICE TO OTHERS.

CAME IN $200 UNDER THEIR OWN BID. CLEANUP WAS EXCELLENT. COULDNT EVEN TELL THEY HAD BEEN THERE.
