Description of Work: Very nice to deal with. Was disappointed that they did not show me how to install the lock I bought but suggested if I didn't figure it out, to pay them to install. When the very nice, prompt installer came out he told us they had demos at the store and could easily have shown us how to do it. Would have saved $80 service fee.

Description of Work: I called them for a broken lock on my tenant's front door. They came out, explained exactly what needed to be done and my options. Installed a new lock and gave me 3 keys. A couple of weeks later, the main lock on the front door broke. They came out the same day (a Saturday) I had a Girl Scout cookie table going at the same time, they called when they were on the way and I was able to meet the worker at my house. I will definately use them again.

Description of Work: We had a door custom made (because of the strange size), but the man who made it couldn't get the old lock to work properly. Al (from PHS) came out at the time he said he would be there, gave me an estimate and fixed the lock all within about 15 minutes. It was such a simple job, he didn't even charge me what he gave me as his estimate!

 + -1 moreThey were easy to schedule for an estimate of some lock work I was contemplating. The guy explained that one door I wanted locked (a sort of home made basement closet) wouldn't take a lock. He gave me some very good ideas of what to do instead (things his co. did not do.) For the other new lock I wanted, he explained my choices and the prices. We then scheduled him to return to actually install my choice. It was all very easy.

Description of Work: Initially fixed entry door lock, but since he didn't know if the lock would continue to work long-term, didn't charge me. Advised me on what to do with the door and its fixtures to ensure workability. Came a second time to install a temporary lock and made sure it would work.
