Went perfectly!

I all went well.

Things went perfectly. Marion came with two men on time and they completed the job in about two hours. They covered their shoes, laid down mats, and cleaned up after the work was done. I coul not be more pleased with the professionalism of Marion and his men.

Would use them again.

I contacted Marion Matas regarding the services that I needed. He came out and gave me an estimate. I accepted and he advised that he would call back over the weekend to let me know what day he would come back to complete the job, due to the rain. He called and was scheduled to come on Monday, October 26. He arrived promptly, even a little early, with his help and they completed the job in a very timely and efficient manner. I was extremely pleased with Marion's professionalism and promptness. I would definitely call on his services again as well as recommend his services to others.

Marion answered my call promptly and came to the house to give me an estimate. After I agreed, we scheduled a time for him to come back with his crew and truck. What a great job they did! From the basement to the attic, they carefully removed everthing I needed taken away. The house looked twice as large when they were finished.

This company was fantastic! I called and left a message. Marion called me back within a few minutes and was at my house in less than 30 minutes to give us a free estimate. He quoted us $75. Then, he came back later to haul wood debris from a newly redone back staircase and some other miscellaneous junk from our garage and the front of our house. He charged us $50 and that was that! All done in a matter of hours.

Called and left a message on Monday morning (Labor Day). Marion called back shortly after and stopped by before noon to give an estimate. He asked if I was a little flexible on the pick up date. He wanted to combine my pickup with another in the area so that he could give me a better price. He called back be the end of the day and said that they would be by the next day for pick up. I told him that I had thrown a bit more on the pile and he said no problem the price would be the same.

I emailed Marion on 8/26 and he replied with his phone number. I called and he came the next day to see the fence and give me a quote. On Friday, he brought his power tools and took the fence down in sections, then loaded them in his truck. As the other reviewers have posted, he is professional and a delight to work with. He's very polite and knows what he is doing.

They did a good job for me. As far as the price, I called one other company and they would have charged their minimum fee of $85 so their price was pretty good.

I can't say enough about Marion! He's polite, professional and a man of his word! I called for an estimate and described what was included in the pile of junk to be removed. He gave me a price range over the phone but stopped by on Sunday to take a look. Despite the fact that it was probably more than he bargained for, he stood by the price he originally quoted. This was such an enjoyable experience...I may gut another room just so I can use Metro Junk Removal again!!!

I've had Marion do other services at my home and as always he shows up for an estimate within a day, he is very flexible on timing for me to do the job, absolutely prompt arriving to do the job thorough, faster than I expected and cleans up after the project the way he would want someone to clean his own home. The team pulled out the smaller fixtures then the tile and then broke up the tub in order to get it down from the second floor without damaging my walls then finished with any remaining walls around the tub area that would be needed to access plumbing, backing board and insulation. They finished by making sure the entire area was swept and vacuumed so we could start out DIY part right away. Marion always reports at the end of the job on any surprises found or suggestions of things that might give me trouble later down the task. I'm also happy knowing that Marion makes sure the materials are recycled as possible and disposed of ecologically when not recyclable. As always, a job done better than I could do myself and much more quickly and efficiently!

My aunt had recently moved into a nursing home and I had to remove everything from her apartment in a short time. I placed a call on Monday and left a message. I received a call back immediately. I scheduled removal for the following Monday. My instructions were, take everything. An hour and a half later the apartment was completely empty.

The day I called for an estimate, Marion came over and looked at the appliances and how they could be removed. He gave me an estimate and offered to work with me on timing. Everyone was very polite, careful and did a great job! Thanks guys!!

I called in the morning and left a message, which was returned within an hour. They showed up at the agreed upon time and left an estimate, which was very reasonable. I called back and told them to go ahead and they were back to haul the junk away in no time.
