Express Maid

The place was in need of a good cleaning, but I didn't think it required "deep cleaning." Maybe, I should have, because the work was superficial. Kitchen floor was minimally mopped.. No elbow grease involved. It's more like "wiping everything," rather than "cleaning." Maybe it's the changing times; to me, getting something 'clean' is not wiping it, but doing what it takes to get it really CLEAN. I have had them back (2 people for 2 hours) twice since the first time, just to maintain the status quo. Seems like they always skip/miss something. Again, I don't know if my expectations are realistic.

Three ladies arrived at the agreed upon time. They cleaned the area well and finished in 90 minutes. My house is only 1100 square feet.

Great. Kitchen and bath spotless. Carpets vacuumed, hardwood floors cleaned. The house leaner was constantly busy. Moved furniture when necessary to do the work properly. I would definitely hire again.

Used a scrubbing pad I did not give him. Permanently scratched up all my corian counter tops. Second bad experience with a Angie's List. Will not use again.

Two women came - they did an awesome job! I would definitely book with Express Maids again. Heads up, though: there is an additional $10 charge if they use their cleaning products. This was no problem for me as I prefer my own less toxic cleaners, but I can see others being annoyed by this.

Cleaning was completed as expected.

Overall good but sometimes schedule gets mixed up with days when we make changes to the usual schedule

Eleanor and Cat did a wonderful job! They arrived at the appointed time and worked for 2.5 hours. They not only accomplished all of the tasks I asked for, but they also swept my porch and got up all of the dead leaves from my indoor plants. I was very pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

They did a great job. I explained that my goal was to get my full deposit back. We walked through what was left to do and I asked them to prioritize their time to get it all done and let me know if they thought it would be too much. Both of the women who helped me were great--gave great feedback, worked hard, and finished everything with 15 minutes to spare. I got my full deposit back and could move on to unpacking and cleaning at my new place. Details: My apt was not all that dirty, but I'd been there for 6 years so it needed some elbow grease to get shined up. I had already swept and vacuumed, cleaned the blinds, and wiped out the closets. Starting with the kitchen, the maids did the whole kitchen (and appliances), bathroom, and mopped out the whole apartment. Would recommend Express Maid.

They were prompt, courteous and did a nice job cleaning my one floor ranch. They have been coming on a regular schedule for the past two months.

They were punctual, professional, and they did an excellent job. They engaged me throughout the process ro ensure the work was being done to my liking.

You'd think 6 hours to clean a large, empty studio would be plenty of time for a professional to do a quality job. It was not for Express Maids. Certain areas appeared untouched. Others incomplete or poorly done. I'd call what they did a "quick once over" at best. Not worth what I paid when I needed to add a few more hours of cleaning on my own to finish the job.

Couldn't have been more pleased with the people who came to my door. They were right on time and had brought their own vacuum cleaner, rags and cleaning supplies, which weren't needed because I had my own, but all the same it made a good impression on me that they were so well prepared and ready to begin work immediately upon arrival. Eleanor, the crew leader, walked around the house with me as I explained where all the cleaning supplies were, what I wanted to have done, etc. She and her partner worked virtually non-stop and got much more accomplished than I had expected in the time allowed. They attended to things I hadn't even mentioned as they went along, demonstrating an impressive amount of initiative. When the time allotted had expired, Eleanor showed me the results of their efforts, room by room, and her desire to ensure my satisfaction was almost palpable. Besides the quality of the work they performed, it was also a pleasure dealing with people who took pride in and enjoyed their work. I will certainly use this company's services again, and intend to request they send me the same cheerful, professional, energetic pair of ladies next time around.

They showed up late but after apologizing did a great job. Very responsive to my instructions and re did areas I asked for.
