Budget Right Kitchens

Description of Work: Dirk arrived promptly and looked and listened. He was not at all dismayed by my desire to do most of the work as a "do it yourselfer". In fact he freely provided tips and referrals for subcontractors. I loved his original idea for making my small kitchen work better. If only I could have afforded to have his company do all the work! In any case, I highly recommend the design work, wonderful and tailored to my specific needs.

Description of Work: Company seemed intent on the cabinets being purchased from a particular dealer.

Description of Work: This company prepared a set of plans for the remodeling of my kitchen. The plans were fine and the representative was knowledgable and pleasant. Ultimately, I used Bradford and Kent to do my remodel, so I can't give any more information about this company.

Description of Work: I signed on for the kitchen design special, for my basement space. The owner came out. He was professional and very nice. For some reason he did not seem to approach the job as a serious kitchen space, perhaps, since it was in my basement. I had to remind him that I wanted the whole room designed and not just one wall where the refrigerator and stove would go. Once he understood that I needed the whole room designed, he did an excellent job. The inexpensive offer for the design, in fact, was a wy to generate work for his rehab company. I did not have that kind of budget to do what he proposed,however the design was good and done on the computer.

Description of Work: Timothy was very honest and on the point with the job it was GREAT!!!!!

Description of Work: Appliances and old linoleum flooring were removed from basement laundry room. A fine job of tiling around pipes etc. was performed on basement floor, and appliances were returned to their prior places. Workers were professional, prompt, and skilled. Dirk Hoerr also drew plans for a complete kitchen remodeling job that looked promising, but I decided not to authorize that larger project at this time.

Description of Work: We had Dirk come out to give us an estimate to replace damaged hardwood in our kitchen with tile. Dirk was very helpful and honest - he recommended that it would be cheaper and better looking if we merely repaired the hardwood instead of putting in tile. We appreciated his honesty since it meant we wouldn't be doing business with him. He even gave us a referral for the floor repair.

Description of Work: Gut and remodel small bathroom.
