Description of Work: nothing. I had scheduled an appointment. I had a death in the family-my father. The provider wanted to reschedule rather than refund the amount, so I agreed to call him back. I lost track of the "deal" and proceeded with a kitchen remodel of my own design. It turned out great.

Description of Work: We ordered a Big Deal for a kitchen design and set of plans, for $45. Dirk came out to our house and was polite and professional. But I don't think we were a good match with Budget Right. We live in a bungalow and our kitchen is pretty small, and we were hoping for some good ideas of how to configure it without knocking down any walls. We wanted to keep things simple and true to the style of the house. We already had all new plumbing and there was no demolition needed (not even cabinets). So when Dirk quoted us $20,000, we were taken aback. He said he couldn't even drop the materials off in our yard for our budget ($5000-$8000). Still, we hoped to get some good layout ideas for this Big Deal, but the one thing we stipulated we didn't want, a sink in the corner, was in the plans after all. We did not go ahead with this remodel.

Description of Work: The service provider was very courteous and professional, but in the course of discussing a planned kitchen remodeling project with him I decided not to go forward with the project. I therefore decided not to take advantage of the kitchen design services for which I purchased the Angies List Big Deal. This is why I'm requesting a refund.

Description of Work: We are still in the process of interviewing contractors. We purchased a coupon for kitchen design. Dirk came out promptly, looked at our kitchen, took measurements and offered a number of suggestions. Based on his visit to us, he provided us with a list of expenses so that we could think about future decisions about kitchen features. We were please with the plans he emailed and his suggestions were very helpful

Description of Work: I used an Angie's list coupon for a $40.00 kitchen remodel plan. The plan was not a very comphensive nor creative. He did not center the stove on the south wall as all the other professionals advised nor did he have any creative ideas or solutions to my remodel job. The completion time was longer (than others stated) and the price was higher. He also has no showroom, where I could see displays of cabinets and other materials. Because of this, I would have had to do all the leg work in selecting and ordering all the materials for the remodel job. However, he was quick to respond and very pleasant.

Description of Work: I was thinking of remodeling our kitchen. So when I saw Budget Right Kitchen's offer of designing the kitchen for remodeling by $ 45.00, I wanted to go head give it a try. I purchased the Big Deal offer through Angie's List. Accordingly, Mr. Dirk Hoerr came to see my Kithcen. Mr. Hoerr was very punctual and very nice to talk to. However, my expectation was that he will give us some ideas to change our kitchens to look it nicer or modern. He just gave an estimate of labor costs to replace the existing cabinets, replace sink and floor. He of course gave us a drawing of our kitchen. Since we have not used their service yet we are not in a position to comment about their workmanship. Overall, I am happy with what I got from them.

Description of Work: Dirk came out and made great suggestions for our proposed kitchen upgrade. He was on time, kind and courteous throughout the design process. He took all of the measurements and emailed plans the next day. When we are ready to move forward, Budget Right Kitchens will be at the top of our list.
