The process was helpful and the plans were a good jumping-off place-- well worth the cost. It was a bit difficult to get things changed that weren't exactly what I meant, but that was hardly to be expected at the price. I ended up doing something quite different, but still it was a big help to my visualization process.

I bought a kitchen design coupon and we scheduled the appointment with one phone call. The next day Tony showed up and took his time (over an hour and 30 minutes) to go over everything before submitting the designs. I have been rehabbing numerous properties over the years and I can tell this company is the real deal. Agnes, one of his designers is also easy to work with and she really knows her stuff. Both of them have great design ideas and Agnes is also very quick replying to my emails. If I wouldn't have chosen already my contractor, Tony would have been on the top of my list. Thanks Tony!

My plan was not a simple replacement. It needed some creative thinking and sound ideas. He had great insight on arrangement of interior and was very helpful with the final design. Moving some pieces around allowed us to come to a satisfiable design. He is very knowledgeable and very professional.

The provider called the day before to confirm the appointment and he showed up on time. He took detailed measurements, visited our basement to review existing plumbing, and we spent some time discussing our pririties for the new kitchen. The drawings showing the new design was recieved within a few holater that afternoon.urs via email. It was a very worthwhile and low cost consultation.

It went well. He came up with an idea that we hadn't thought of before. We ultimately will not go with that idea but it was a good option. He also provided a quote to do the job per his plan.

I took advantage of the one hour design consultation with this company, which went very much as advertised. The owner was highly professional, punctual and pleasant. I had some very concrete ideas of what I needed for this kitchen. He discussed them with me and then took measurements. A few days later, he sent a set of plans and designs based on our conversation. He had asked me if I wanted him to work up a bid on doing the installation. I said yes, so he sent that bid along, as well. I must say that I found the bid to be high, so I probably will not be using him for that purpose. I also was surprised that the designs he sent were very basic and didn't help me visualize the final look of the kitchen. Given the ability of technology to do much more sophisticated designs, I thought they would be more fleshed out. Still, I found the whole process to be very useful, since it helped me think through the challenges of doing this kitchen and helped me uncover some issues with my initial ideas. It is certainly worth the 45.00 fee, since it helped me get to the next step. As I pursue this, I may find that his labor costs were more reasonable than I currently think.

Before I got back to my office he called, text and email me to let me know that he had completed my plans. I am so please because of the deal I got on the cabinets and his knowledge and expertise included most of them in the plan. They were a little more expensive and decided to use a different company to complete the remodeling. The estimate and mock kitchen went well and they were very nice.

Dirk was very professional, punctual and delivered the plans via email in a very timely manner. He also listened to my ideas, gave me lots of feedback and recommendations and provided me with a detailed estimates of labor should his company take on the remodel. I was not ready to start the project at the time, since I was still gathering ideas, but it was very helpful to have the plans, the measurements and the guidance. After getting a few more personally recommended contractors in for estimates, I'd have to say that his price for the remodel was on the high end of the spectrum.

He sent me an e-mail about contacting him - I gave him dates on e-mail when he can call. He has not called.

He just put in some cabinets, which I could have done myself. I didn't see the point in that and it as a waste of money. He didn't add anything or do anything different. I wanted something more. He was nice enough though.

Dirk came and took measurements of the room and we told him several different scenarios expecting to get different plans for each of our scenario's or at least give us some reason's why he only provided plans for the present kitchen. We received the plans in the mail and they were the first scenario we talked about. I wished I would have received at least some kind of drawings showing the other scenarios. I realize that we probably only paid for the one set of plans but I just wish Dirk would have told us to pick the plans for the scenario we would have wanted the plans for.

Given the small size of the job, it was difficult to find a contractor who would work on a smaller size remodel for a reasonable price (many super high quotes that made me feel like they were trying any way they could to squeeze the maximum amount of money out of me). Then I found Dirk wth Budget Right. Dirk came out when my schedule allowed, was very friendly and had many suggestions on what we could do with such a small space. Also, his quote was by far the most resonable. Work was scheduled in short order and the foreman Dan came over to go over all the details. Ted did most of the actual work and was prompt, respectful of my home, tidy, and very skilled in his workmanship. As with any remodel job, one should expect some hiccups and unexpected findings when walls are opened in a 90+ year old home. Dan and Ted came up with sound and cost conscious solutions to the minor issues that were found. In fact, at the end of the job, Budget Right actually came in under budget and handed me a small refund check at the final walk through. I am very happy with the workmanship Dirk and his team from Budget Right provided adn have gotten many compliments from visitors to my home. I will definitely call Dirk the next time I have interior work to be done.
