The owner, Bob Carney, is extremely meticulous. The quality of his work was outstanding. His attention to detail was unlike anything I've seen before. I liked that he listened to what I told him. Even though he would offer suggestions for his opinion, he would still do what I wanted to do. He would show different options and different prices for each part of the project. If anyone is interested in references for Bob Carney's work, please contact me, I would be glad to be a reference.
Description of Work: They remodeled my kitchen, one bathroom and a master bathroom. They completed the kitchen and bath in one project and I had them come back and complete my master bath.
Bob did an excellent job, with incredible sensitivity and attention to detail. (E.g., bricks removed for A/C unit and new range hood vent were saved and used to provide nearly invisible patch for old vent hole.) He's a great guy and was a pleasure to work with over a period of more than a year. He went out of his way to ensure the on-going work had the least possible impact on our lives, cleaning up daily and providing safe access through the work site to the basement. For electrical, plumbing, and painting work, he hired and carefully supervised the best subcontractors in the area, insisting that they correct anything that failed to meet his high standards of quality workmanship. Some things went wrong -- as is inevitable in a house this old with a job of this size -- but Bob always made things right. Our satisfaction was clearly his highest priority. Final cost was higher than orig. estimate *only* because we kept adding tasks as we became more and more appreciative of his great work
