I am a first time home buyer and I needed an inspection if the roof and the chimney. I was told that if the building was 1 story, I would get a price of $100 and anything above would be $299. They would walk the roof and inspect it , take pictures and give me a detailed report. The inspector came and inspected the roof from the ground, never got on the roof, didn't have a ladder or camera. He simply kept saying the roof is good but the chimney needed to be replaced and the gutters needed to be sealed along with a drip edge installed. I got a cookie cutter report that I could barely read that had no pictures with a quote for $4,000 if I wanted to get the work done. Also called the owner I assume, name is Marco and told him that the guy never walked the roof. So he dropped the drive down to $200 but still didn't get an inspection. I may not be an expert but a roof inspection requires someone to actually get in the roof and see it up close, not from the ground. Would never use this company. I can only imagine if I wasn't there. They would have charged me the whole $299 and still give me the same crappy service.

This roofing company is amazing. Reached out to them late one night and they got back to me right away. The next day they were at my house and the problem was fixed for a very reasonable price. Hard workers and just an overall great company. Would definitely recommend this company.

Great job guys installed new tpo roof on our strip mall , The quote was competitive they were a little more expensive than a few others but the quality was well worth it. Marco was our project manager he absolutely had a lot to do with our decision very informative and very intelligent. Would highly recommend these guys.

Stein & Sons was hired to apply sealant to my rather long asphalt driveway. They showed up on time and did an exemplary job! Also caught a break with their military/veteran discount. I give them a well done!

Marco responded to my Home Advisor question right away. Because of my own schedule, we were not able to meet until after the weekend. He gave me an estimate for the work, then he would get back to me. The job was to replace a small section of vinyl siding that is 12 years old. A small limb fell out of our tree and stuck into the siding making a half dollar size hole. With the information I provided on the siding, Marco had to find either that color and model or something real similar. He found a section comparable to the original siding and his crew put it on. Great job! They were prompt and courteous. The job cost for replacing that small section was $500. I thought that was a bit steep for no more than it entailed but I agreed to it and it wasn t something I could do myself. I am satisfied with the work and end result.

The person that was sent to my home to do the roofing and chimney was very good. I would highly recommend Stein & Sons and will be using them in the future for any projects that I will be doing. Reliable, dependable & great customer service. They started brand new roof when promised & completed job when promised. They cleaned up afterwards. I'm an out of state landlord. Marco sent pictures of job from start to finish. They were always available when I had questions or concerns.

Did not show up on time. Then completed job late so it rained and it washed 75% of their work away. They had to come back to complete. I was getting mad because I thought they should finish my job before completing other jobs.

Marco is very professional and the quality of their work is excellent. I would recommend Stein & Sons to anyone. Marco guided me every step through the process and was very courteous. The roof looks great!

I hired Stein & Sons to patch some holes and reseal my asphalt driveway. I had received other quotes that were much cheaper for very similar quality of the sealant Marco had sold me. They quoted me pretty high but based on reviews, responsiveness from Marco, and being a family owned company- I was willing to use them. I was scheduled the next day because of weather and wanting to complete the Project. On October 14, however, they were 3 hours late to start. During the Project, I come to find that the motor for spray was malfunctioning, and the man was "helping Marco out"and not a regular employee. The spray and sealant was applied unevenly, was spilled on my rear concrete apron, part of the siding of my home, and a huge spill on my front concrete apron, which they sealed over to hide the spill. I would have expected a company to reschedule due to late start, malfunctioning equipment, and forecasted rain. Unfortunately, due to the late start of the work, a couple hours after completion it began to rain and ruined everything. On top of the sealing, I wanted a couple potholes filled and leveled- which apparently translated to 2 bags of asphalt and a tamp which I could have done myself. Overall I was expecting a much higher quality job for the money I was charged. Marco had dealt with me personally and often to communicate and came out to assess the issue with desire to remedy the issue within a week. Although Marco attempted to remedy, I do not feel it was done in a professional manner. His solutions were not promising, but I was hopeful that it would be remedied. It was over 18 days, after me communicated questions and concerns via email, and I had not received any communication for rescheduling. Marco responded saying, "he was about to try and get it in the week of Halloween" after my inquiries. I asked for the refund they guaranteed if my job was not complete. Now I am left with an unfinished driveway, a patchy half-done apron that was from their spill cover up, and the inability to fix the issue with a different company because the weather and timing. As stated in the previous review, even if they were much cheaper, I would advise against using this company. I cannot say enough how disappointed I am and strongly advise to stay away from any service Stein and Sons provides.

They showed up for the job, and didnt have the right materials to start the job,they were gone 1 hour to get supplies to finish the job, which didnt allow them the time to do the job well. They over sprayed the sealant by six inches on my grass, and the 2 repairs to the driveway are already crumbling and falling apart. I am going to have to have them fixed next spring again. They cut out 2 places and filled them in, both cutouts have already sunk, to the same depth as the orginal hole, and it has been less then 2 weeks.
