Steve was recommended to us by two neighbors who have been very happy with his work. We met with him to discuss what we were looking for and he came back a week later with a proposal that took into consideration the size of our house and our yard as well as what sort of design would fit well with the style of our house and in the space that we have available. The design looked perfect and we contracted with him to do the work. We ended up with about 700 sq ft of patio space, including a circular fire pit area with a seating wall about a third of the way around it. Since it was the middle of his summer season we had to wait about 6 weeks to get on his schedule. When he and his team arrived, they did not waste any time getting to work. They removed our old patio and brought in huge slabs of stone for retaining walls. They prepped the whole area on the first day. On the second day they laid the brick and the third they built the fire pit and the seating wall as well as completing the plantings. They cleaned up everything and restored our lawn to how it was when they got there (with the help of some fill-dirt and grass seed). In addition to the patio work, Steve also threw in a couple of small projects to aid in getting water away from our foundation. He said that since he would be out here anyway it would be no problem to help us with our gutter down-spouts. We truly could not be happier with our beautiful new patio, our shade-appropriate plantings, and the professionalism with which it was completed. Thank you Steve!
