The service was great. Since I have an older home with an older but very nice door, the lock system is old. John showed me ways to get around a problem I may have in the future without having to call the locksmith again for the same problem.

Very well. John explained what the problem was with the lock my parents had recently had "replaced".

John?s Lock-Up was prompt in estimating the job, ordering the hardware and rescheduling the installation. He left the old hardware and I am pleased with the quality of the new hardware and the quoted price of the job..

I broke my car key off in the lock of a hatchback automobile. I called John and he was able to remove the broken key for the lock with little trouble and a good price. I asked him if he could make me replacement and said he would the next day since he had to make sure he had the appropriate replacement in stock. He called the next day and we met up and after some difficulty getting the key cut (not his fault but toyota's) he was able to make a key that worked better than the original. John is a very funny guy and would most certainly recommend him again.

Easy as can be -- rekeyed all of the door locks on three main entry doors into the house. Although we wanted to have new hardware, we were given good advice as to why to stick with what we had in place, at least for the time being. Called on Monday and he came on Tuesday. Easy to work with. Will use again.

Excellent job. Came to our home the day of request to look over the doors, provided an estimate within a couple of days and installed the locks within 1 week. We went to higher security locks than we previously had on our home (which were the builder locks). We love the locks - they work wonderfully and are beautiful! Excellent job done by John in a timely fashion.

I have a retail store and wanted to buzz clients into my shop. I talked to John and he recommended a wireless door buzzer. 1 Week Later the parts arrived and John Installed everything in 1 day. The buzzer has been installed for 5 months now with no complaints!Thank You John!

The job was handled very professionally, and completed without a problem. I found John to be very personable, even bonding with our resident Alaskan Malamute who can be overly friendly.

The overall experience was great, he had great sense of humor. He has a huge list of contacts and they provide the same great customer service he offers.

I didn?t like them at all. They were tremendously expensive. I had them come out twice. They charged us $1200 the first time and charged us again when they came back. I just can?t stand the locks. The locksmith didn?t ask the right questions. He was very pushy about scheduling. I didn?t even figure out for like two months that when you open the door to your house with the key, you then have to turn around and re-lock it so that it stays closed. I have never lived in a house where you have to turn back around and lock the door behind yourself. I needed the door with a slam lock, which is pretty elementary and it?s the same with the front door. The locksmith made a provision on the front door so that my son who is two can open and walk out of the house. He then came back and I told him that I wanted the slam lock on the door. So he said that he would replace the whole handset. He also made another provision on the door which was high, so that would keep my son from being able to open it because he can?t reach it, but I have other kids too. I am not satisfied with the work he did at all. He has great ratings online, but not from me. I wouldn?t hire him again. I am sure he has plenty of clients that are satisfied with him. His personality seemed affable until he made a comment that I didn?t appreciate. It just didn?t go well. I would tell others not to go to him. He was punctual, but he showed up once by just saying that he was in the neighborhood and he would come to fix the locks. It?s not like the locks are totally unmanageable, but it?s not the way I wanted it.

I had a problem with my lock at my restaurant. I called John and he helped think about the problem. He said he was busy and would probably come the next day, so I went with a different provider. However, John is very professional and I would recommend.

I spent a little over $300 for the work. He was extremely personable and he was able to accomplish what I had needed him to accomplish like the keys in all the doors except in one of the doors as the door was eighty years old. I had nothing to compare to in terms of the price.

John and one other worker came to our new house with one day notice to change all locks (15 I think), and put all locks on one key. Since it is a house from 1922, that had been neglected a bit, this took two days. To add insult to injury, we did not yet have air conditioning in 100 degree weather! They worked non stop and came back the next day to finish up the job. Everything is working great!

I called on a Sunday and he called me back to let me know he would be available the next day. He called an hour before he would arrive and was prompt on time. He and his assistance started work immediately and was nothing but professional. He cleaned up after his work. I couldn't have been happier.

He is very good. He was punctual and even called to let me know he was near. He was very informative and explained to me that I probably would need to replace the locks because they were so old. He called me back a couple days later like he said he would with a quote. It was great, he's a good guy.

He made my condo safe and gave me a new mailbox key. I was pleasantly surprised. I will call John again because I broke the key in the lock - but I'm not sure how much it will cost to pull it out. This is the locksmith you want - the person who is very knowledgeable about their trade

We thought they did a good job, but the price seemed very high. I thought he charged me more because I was an Angies List member.

They did a great job. They were very courteous, provided great service and good reactions. We liked them a lot.

I was locked out of my garage due to a faulty door lock. Worker arrived on time, examined work area, attempted quickest fix (as requested by myself), then offered options for further, more complete work, executed my desired choice. Did additional work on another house door. John was friendly, highly experienced, and extremely knowledgeable in his duties.

He also explained, other security measures we could take, to deter future burglaries, including those unrelated to his trade (e.g. lighting, garage doors).
