AR-BE Garage Doors

The door is very nice and has a solid closure at the bottom. The price was very reasonable. I had to call the rep back because there was light coming through the bottom where the garage door came down. The rep that came back gave me a better explanation than the installer did as to why. It took 7 weeks before the rubber stripping mended to the cement-partially due to the cold weather-to have a rubber seal. The sales rep also took down a ladder and moved it, something the installers should have done. Two or three weeks later, I found that one of the workers left a metal chain stuck in my fence. My recommendation to anybody hiring them is that their doors and prices are excellent, but keep an eye on the workers.

The garage door opener ceased to work. I called scheduled a repair appointment for the following day. they provided a 4 hour arrival window and a call before actually being on site. There was an initial attempt to sell a new opener, but once I indicated I wanted it fixed, the repair was completed in a timely and professional manner.

The service men showed up between the hours they said. When they arrived, they didn't bring the materials needed to finish the job. After taking a day off to get the problem fixed, they made me reschedule my appointment. Fortunately, I found someone to be here to accept the work. They showed up at the end of the allotted time they told me. They then skimped and gave me a 3% discount when I had an Angies List coupon for 5% off the work they performed. If the part was exotic, I would understand them not carrying it. It was a basic spring for a garage door and they didn't have any in stock.

They were timely, efficient and provided the best estimate of the other companies we talked to. We would use them again in the future.

I needed a new door, my old door was destroyed and it wouldn't open - it was broken. My experience with AR-BE Doors went very well. When I initially called they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were very prompt, I believe they were at my house within an hour to give me an estimate. They did the estimate right away. I had to put the project on hold for a little bit, and they didn't pester me to get the work done. When I called to set up an appointment they came I believe the next day, or within a couple of days. They met my needs. They were cost effective, I believe I got a discount for being a member of Angie's list. The price I thought was very fair. They were professional and courteous. They hauled away the old garage door for me, and did everything that I needed them to do on my time frame.

Waited a day for them to attempt repair; they called and notified me that they would arrive early, so I had to run home from downtown to meet them. I got home at the scheduled time and the garage door was half open and the repairman nowhere to be found. When I called the company they said they thought the repair guy was still at the house, though they were not entirely sure if they had a spring for my "old wooden door." No questions asked about the door type when scheduling. Still no idea what happened to the repair guy and have not received any calls. Highly unprofessional in my view.

I called about a garage door that did not close with the openers. They came the next day and located the problem with one of the sensors. He replaced it with a new one and it works beautifully.

Bruce came out and explained that the original door wasn't the correct size which is why it came off the rails. He gave me the dimensions for my handyman to frame the new door. After inspecting the new frame he scheduled his guys to come the next day. They were on time but they asked if they could start after a 10 min break, which was strange. The two guys did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Bruce was very professional and friendly. He pointed out that two of my neighbors had AR-BE garage doors.

Fast service they cleaned up and it was a big job.

They came out on a Wednesday while I was at work. I was able to leave the side door open to the garage where they were able to get access. This was nice as I did not need to be home. They left the quote. I called them that Saturday and scheduled the install for Monday while I was at work. I came home from work and I had a new garage door installed. It included new rails and rollers, and they disposed of the old door for me. It was very nice to be able to trust a company enough that I did not have to stay home form work to get this work done.

We had an excellent experience with them. They were very professional and punctual. We did have a problem and we called them and they were quick to respond and were able to fix the problem.

Chuck came over early Saturday morning to look at our existing garage door and gave us an estimate (which was 25% less than the garage door company that came out the night before). He had been an installer for many years so he knew his stuff. We scheduled the installation for the next day, Sunday morning, which was great because we'd been parking our cars out front of the house for over a week. The old garage door was on a double-track because of the low clearance of the garage. After moving the LiftMaster garage door open a bit higher, Ar-Be was able to install a single track with torsion bar which makes the new door much quieter. We love it. They added an extra high weather strip along the bottom of the door so the snow and rain won't blow in (the garage floor is cracked and uneven so there are gaps when the garage door is closed). The installers worked very fast and were done with the job in less than 2 hours.

We called them and they were out like the next day. I had called two other people with no help, but they came right out. They fixed it within an hour to two. They charged me what they said they would the same day and haven't had a problem since.

Overall, it was a good experience. They were easy to work with and communicative. They were responsive to my needs when I decided I wasn't satisfied with the color. I would recommend this company to others.

They were terrific. They worked well together and fast. They were pretty amazing in regards to taking out the old garage door and installing the new one.

Their service was super fast. AR-BE came out for an estimate within an hour of being called. Their representative was very friendly and professional. I was quite surprised to see that the cost was only $250.00 more than I paid for the 28 year old door it replaced. AR-BE scheduled the work for the next day, the workmen arrived on time and had the job completed in 2 hours. The only negative was that I had to remind the workmen to remove an old non-functional door opener that the sales rep promised would be removed.

I called Tuesday at 9am company arrived at 3pm and had garage door working by 4pm. From start to finish company did what they told me they were going to do.

He was running late, but I got a call with a status ahead of time with a new estimated time. The original job was just to replace the springs, but since he was there I had a few other things to include, which he completed with no problems.

I called and made the appointment and we were hit with a big snowstorm. They came out anyway and replaced the door and hauled all the old stuff away and did a great job.

They were prompt in responding with a bid. They were punctual and knew what to do and how to do it. I received a 5% discount off the price because I was an Angie's List member. I am very satisfied with them.

My experience with them was wonderful. They were prompt. They said they would call before they came and they did. They were very informative about the condition of my garage door. I thought they charged me a fair price.

Quoted almost $500 under other estimates, installation took place 2 days after quote. They where able to use our current opener saving us money.

Very nice on phone; someone came the same day to give an estimate; did the work as soon as I got required permit- the job was done well and quickly- no mess left behind.
