They suggested and showed me where to oil so the door would last longer.

I think they were good. They had the best price out of everyone that I contacted. They also had glowing reports from Angie's List. I think they even gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member. They were able to come out the next day after I called for the estimate. They then came out that weekend to install the door. If I ever need to use them in the future, I would.

The chain came out when the spring broke lose. The whole door feel to the ground. I explained this to the woman at AR-BE Doors and she first quoted the price for the springs. I was worried that the springs she wanted to sell me were not going to be strong enough. She wanted me to commit to ordering the springs without them coming to see the door first. This made me nervous, and I ended the phone call.

They originally came out to install a new opener on a Friday. Upon arrival, they informed us that the previous owners installed the incorrect sized door. Jose explained what had to be done in very clear detail. I needed a new door, additional tracks installed, a torsion bar, and the opener installed. They were able to schedule me for the next day. They were on time, efficient, and polite. The door works great. One slight annoyance, they replaced the interior frame of the garage (which was much appreciated) but left behind all of the broken up scraps of wood with nails. Aside from this, they were perfect. I highly recommend them.

Arrived on time for estimate. Arrived on time for installation. Took the allotted amount of time to complete the job. The only problem is the number of screws left in and around the garage.

I was referred to them through our garage guy (Danley; also very good!). The garage door wouldn't go down. They got out very quickly and Andy fixed the door right away. I didn't know that they gave an Angie's List discount, but after I paid we were talking and then all of a sudden I got $12 off! Highly recommended.

Andy, a repair technician also qualified to give estimates, arrived promptly in the morning. He was extremely professional and courteous and, after a thorough assessment and reviewing all options, we agreed that it's best to get a new door. Andy initially told me a crew might be available that afternoon! However, after checking in with the warehouse, we discovered that they couldn't do the work until the next day. We set an appointment for 11:00 AM the following day and Armando called me at 10:15 to tell me he was already at the house. Slightly inconvenient, as I was out to breakfast with a friend, but also refreshing. They installed the door in something like 1.5 hours and cleaned up the site well. However, I needed some weatherstripping that they didn't have with them, but they came the following day to complete the job (told me I didn't even need to be home). Dave Burns (Mgr) made sure I received my full Angie's List discount. All in all, an excellent experience.

It went very well. He even gave me a discount on the part he used because he didn't have the right part in stock. He used a larger unit and charged me the price of the smaller part. I would use them again.

I scheduled an appointment by contacting the company. Service person arrived the next day but did not have springs to fit by door's size. Needed to come back the next day with correct parts. Andy was very nice and explained what was needed. It was easy to diagnose since one spring was in 2 pieces. He checked out the opener and lubricated the door hinges and rollers. The door is much quieter since that was done. Overall experience was good but I was disappointed that I had to spend a second day getting the repair done.

When AR-BE came out, the technician saw that my garage door would not go up and down. He asked if he could use some of the WD-40 he saw sitting on my shelf. He sprayed various parts of the track and wheels and he got the door back in operation. He did not even charge me for the service call. He just classified it as a "free estimate", and he provided me with the cost of a new door if I ever decided to go that route. It was nice to work with an honest person for a change.

The same day I called, a representative came out to give us a quote. He was very thorough and professional, made some good suggestions about shoring up the door framing, and reminded us about getting an Angie's List $25 discount. The quote was very detailed and clear. We scheduled the crew for the very next week. The office called us well ahead of time to confirm, and then again, to advise us that they would be delayed by an hour. However, the crew then showed up exactly when promised, and did a great job in just a few, short hours, and left the site very clean. Excellent company!

Perused Angie's List and noted a few companies in my area. The first one I called wanted me to fix the problem myself using his phone instructions. I could save $75.00. Scratch him from the list. Then called AR-BE. A nice lady took my problem and address information and said someone would be out the next morning; and since I am a member of Angie's List, the service charge would be reduced to $67.00. A couple of hours later, the phone rang; it was the AR-BE repair man; his name is Andy. He was in my area and said he could be at my place in 20 minutes. Now that is service! After arriving he had the problem fixed and the door working within a half hour. Andy was very pleasant and even offered other suggestions to contemplate if the door has further problems in the future. By the way, I waited about a week to write this just to be sure the door is still working properly.

Ar-Be Doors Inc came instantaneously when I called. The salesman came first and showed me different options. The servicemen came on the weekend to accommodate to my work schedule. They cleaned up totally. This company is excellent.

Scheduled appointment 24 hours before service and was given a window of time when technician would arrive. Scheduling clerk also did troubleshooting about the problem over the phone. Owner, Dave Burns, called me 90 minutes before arrival to give an exact arrival time, and then the technician, Chuck, was in my drive, waiting for me. Chuck was friendly, efficient, counseled me on door maintenance and what to look for should the problem occur again and did a general inspection of the door and roller track. He was finished in less than 20 minutes! I would definitely call this company again for service.

They were on time, reliable, honest and did not charge us for a recent visit. They gave good advice on what we could do to fix a specific issue. They even honored an expired coupon!

Mr. Rutt came out to give us an estimate at our convenience, quickly and on-time. He was very courteous & professional in answering all our questions & concerns regarding our garage. The work was scheduled very quickly & they came out as scheduled on time to perform the work. Work space was cleaned up & upon my request, they even hauled away the old garage door opener that's been trashed since we had it replaced a couple of years ago for free! The new garage door is solid & very quiet. Now we just need to get the rest of the garage to look as sharp as the door! One thing though, with the new door trim, it would've been nice to reposition the keypad for the door since the new trim gets in the way of the keypad cover which won't close all the way anymore.

My intention was to have my existing garage door refinished to the original wood (by another company), the door was painted by the previous owner, turns out, the door was wood on the inside, but plywood on the outside. Part of the paint had been removed so the plywood was exposed. I wasn't expecting that. I wasn't going to repaint the door. I panicked! I was having a huge gathering at my home in 2 weeks and the garage door on my attached garage looked HORRIBLE! I contacted AR-BE, they sent someone out the next day for a quote, the door had to be custom made due to odd size (which increased the cost), they promised I would have it delivered and installed in a week...and it surely was! My door is beautiful! Talk about curb appeal. (my garage is attached on the front of the house) The key-less entry pad is so convenient! The workers were efficient, neat and quick. Great job!

Andy is very pleasant and thorough. They always do a good. They automatically gave me Angie's List discount without me having to cut out my coupon.
