Description of Work: My garage was in bad shape ...they rebuilt sections and repointed entire garage , also rebuilt a corner of the house that had damage. They were there on time , workers were courteous and left the job site clean each day. Brendan was easy to deal with and knows what he is doing.

Description of Work: I had called several contractors to do some tuckpointing on the front of my home a few weeks ago and received several proposals. | |I followed up with Erin the week before Memorial Day and met with them on Saturday to review their the extent of the work as well as their means and methods. | |They recommended work only on the areas requiring it and explained their process clearly. They started and finished the Tuesday after Memorial and did very nice work.

+ -1 moreI observed much of the process first-hand and was gratified that Brendan oversaw an obviously experienced, skilled crew that performed their duties efficiently, professionally, and quickly (under three hours). The mortar they used to shore up the previously loosened bricks matched exactly with the existing mortar, and the end result was that to look at the chimney, one would not know it was recently tuckpointed. The repaired portion blended seamlessly with the other part of the chimney, in other words. Further, the crew cleaned up after themselves, leaving no evidence that a tuckpointing job had occurred, other than the existence of a now-great-looking chimney. In conclusion, we fully intend to re-hire Erin Tuckpointing for several other projects this coming spring and, without hesitation, we recommend this fine company to one and all.
Description of Work: We had our chimney tuckpointed recently, in advance of having an entirely new roof installed. Indeed, the roofing could not begin until the tuckpointing had first been completed. Since we were already well into the month of November, with winter weather looming on the horizon, time was of the essence. Brendan Donnelly, from Erin Tuckpointing, responded to our call in a very timely manner and gave us a fair estimate, which we immediately accepted. The tuckpointing of our chimney was performed shortly thereafter, consisting of shoring up the chimney's top 15 layers of brick, whose mortar had badly decayed over time, replacing the decayed mortar with new mortar, and replacing the cracked chimney cap with a new one.
