Ron arrived on time for the estimate. He explained the work that was needed, and the materials required. He gave us the entire cost of work and materials. His crews were on time and professional, their work was fast, neat, and skillfully done. They listened attentively to every concern and detail I had. Great personable people.

We have never had contractors in our home who made us feel as confident and comfortable as Ronbo's owner, Ron, our crew chief Don and his assistants. Their workmanship, reliability and communication with us throughout the job were all outstanding. They did not miss a beat when we added to the tasks that had been quoted, and we were glad we relied on their recommendations about how some aspects of the job should be handled. We never felt anything was being rushed for expediency but only that the quality of work and our satisfaction were the foremost goals. We are looking forward to their return in the spring to take care of some exterior work.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience working with Ronbo and his team. I contacted Ronbo in mid-July. As you would expect, they were scheduling a couple months out so we were looking at September to do the work. He came out to conduct an initial walk around and talked me through everything he would do and recommend. Shortly after he sent a packet with a quote and optional additions based on our discussions. The pricing was within the range we expected and we scheduled the work for September and provided a down payment. Ronbo contacted us in early September when the team was getting ready to start the job. We reviewed the quote and confirmed options and selected paint and stain colors. His team was great. They were respectful of the property and worked efficiently. The team addressed me by name, which I really appreciated. And he and his team kept me up-to-date on progress, next steps, and decisions throughout the entire process. Perhaps the thing I appreciated most was Ronbo's attention to detail and quality. One section of the house dried a little too quickly due to hot direct sunlight on the day it was painted, so he had the team add another coat on that side on a day with more favorable painting weather. Furthermore, when refinishing the front door there was an issue with color and with bugs getting stuck in the stain. They took the time to make sure it was done right, by darkening the color and fixing the bug issues. Again, overall, it was an outstanding experience. I'd hire Ronbo and his team again.

The finished product looks amazing and the neighbors want to know if we are getting ready to sell – the place looks that good! Ron will tell you when he bids your job that you should expect to pay a bit more with him because his guys are professionals and he pays them a decent wage. I had other estimates that were in fact for less money, but there is no doubt in my mind that Ronbo’s is the best value, especially considering the amount of work that was done. Ron keeps his promises and things proceed as he tells you they will. When the work begins, Ron’s guys communicate on a near-daily basis, are conscientious in not wrecking your house or yard while doing their work, and in using common sense (for example, making sure to schedule the work on three bathrooms to allow us to have access to at least one of the three at all times.) These details matter if you are going to be spending weeks with guys who are necessarily causing some disruption in your living space. With Ronbo’s you can count on high quality work and peace of mind. We are already working on our next To Do list for Ronbo’s Fine Painting.

Both project went incredibly well. After researching a number of painters in the area, the one name that kept being recommended was Ronbo. Ron and his team are professional, respectful of your home, friendly, and reasonably priced. The quality is hands down the best I've seen and his reputation is well deserved. Our screened in porch required staining the ceiling along with the traditional painting of the walls and his team did an amazing job on both. We spend a lot of time on the porch and I am always amazed on the quality of work they did given that I look at it every day. I highly recommend Ronbo as he is by far the best painter we've used.

They came out to do the estimate promptly, gave a time frame as to when they could do the work. They did come in that time frame, were very neat and clean doing the work. They paid a lot of attention to the details so the finished product looked really great.

It went splendidly, from first contact with Ron to the end of the job. Ron and his crew are the real deal: consummate pros with a work ethic and grasp of customer service often not displayed by contractors. The company is very responsive, the work is flawless, the overall care/clean-up was outstanding. Ronbo is our go-to for all future painting needs!

They are excellent. It was a two-day job. They were very good. We've used them before for the exterior of our trim. I have used them again. Competence, price and a good experience keeps me going back to Ronbo's. It was very good. They said it would take two days. It was a lot of prep work that needed to be done and it was exactly what they said and he reduced the price by $200.00 from his original quote. They cleaned up excellent.

Before I begin, I will tell you that my wife and I are about as particular as you can be when it comes to hiring a contractor. It’s hard to impress us and seldom do we ask the same contractor back to take on another project. As many of you know, it’s hard to find someone who will do the job like it was their own home. I’ll also tell you that we’d never met Ron, the owner, before and we didn’t know anyone who used him before. Ronbos did an "excellent" job. We’re impressed! It was a great experience from the start. I received 4 quotes from reputable painters (got their names from the local paint store or from Angie's List). Ronbos' quote was not the lowest or the highest but it was the most detailed and professionally presented. Other painters' quotes were either hand-written or provided over email. Some were hard to read and all, except Ron’s, made it almost impossible to understand what I was getting for the amount quoted. Ron's quote was on a pre-printed form that detailed every element of the project (e.g., # of doors, ceilings, walls, decking, etc.), in a folder and came with information about all the products he planned to use. He was also the first painter to call me back. I think I left him a message late on a Friday or Saturday and he called me early the next morning. Ron is the most responsive contractor you will find! His crew was at our house at 7am the morning he said they would start and was there at 7am every morning until the job was finished. This crew, run by Anthony, is extremely hard working. Other than a quick break for lunch, they're hustling until 7pm or later. Before they left "every day" they cleaned up and stored all of their tools and other materials in our garage. Even in the garage everything was neatly organized and covered with a tarp. Aside from the obvious daily progress, no one would even realize you were having your house painted once they leave for the day. The entire crew was very polite and professional. While many contractors will sell the project and hand you off to a crew, Ron was there every day to supervise. Lastly, the quality of the work was outstanding. Both my wife and I reviewed their progress daily and then walked around the house at the end to see if there was anything we’d need to call to Ron’s attention. I mean, we looked very closely for spots that didn’t get paint or sloppy caulking work and we found nothing. When you meet Ron he will tell you about the quality of his work and how diligent his crew is with each project. You should believe him! Ronbos is the real-deal, a painting contractor you can trust to paint your house like it was their own.

The experience was very professional, from Ron's (the owner) estimate and initial discussion, through the paint work done by his crew, to the final review and payment. Ron is seasoned and honest and his crew is fast, professional, courteous, and easy to work with. They aren't the cheapest painters, but the excellent job was well worth it. I've already gotten several complements in just one week on their fine work.

We purchased an AngiesList deal for one painter for one day. Ronbo came to our house to see what needed to be done. Long story short, a lot needs to be done. Our house is old and we have put over $200000 into its rehab over the last few years. The structural part of the rehab is done and now we need to paint. There were several rooms that needed attention, we chose the living room for Ronbo. When he came to the house the first time he told us that the living room was a $1500 job. My wife and I found this to be high which is why we remember it so clearly. Nevertheless, we had purchased the AngiesList deal, and we wanted to see what Ronbo could do. He offered a price of $35/hour/painter for work over the 8 hours we already purchased. The painters (not Ronbo) arrived on time and they were very polite and respectful. In spite of purchasing one painter for eight hours, Ronbo sent two painters so we knew the AngiesList deal would expire in half of a day. My wife worked with them the first half of the first day and while she was there, they worked diligently. The entire first day was spent prepping for painting. At the end of the first day, they said it would take another day and maybe some small amount of time on the third day. We thought that was a lot, but we were already into the job. On the second day, they worked alone. They painted three coats on the ceiling, insisting that it was necessary. This is in spite of the fact that we had previously had our drywaller repair and skim-coat the ceiling. They were in good shape and didn't need three coats. This also meant that the painters had to run out to the paint store to buy more paint. They also did three coats on the crown molding and two coats on the base board. They were unable to complete even one full coat on the windows before the day was over. Other painters that we have hired have done *MUCH* more work than this in the time they were there. When we returned home after the second day, we were disappointed that the job was not further along. Recall that Ronbo had told us this was a $1500 job. Given the discount that we had gotten from AngiesList, by this point, we had invested more than $1500 into this job and it was nowhere near done. We contacted the painters and told them to show up the next day, give us the bill and take their stuff. We would complete the job ourselves. Ronbo arrived first thing in the morning and announced that this was a $3000-$4000 job and that he told us this. He said that it would have been much less expensive to tear down the crown molding rather than have him paint it. Again, he said that he told us this. We were not pleased. In the end, my wife and I dismissed Ronbo for two reasons. 1) His painters were milking the job for as much money as possible and 2) His estimation for the job was a moving target. As I said, I have put $200,000 into this house over the last few years, and my wife and I have hired a LOT of professionals. I understand that there are unforeseen costs, etc., but that is different from a moving target. Everything had an excuse. Everything was an "I told you that already." Everything was a "You didn't understand." Ronbo appears capable of good work, but do NOT hire him hourly. Get a FIRM quote for the entire job.

Ronbo's people did an excellent job. I thought I knew how to paint but these guys are professionals and the results show it. They do it right. They are not the cheapest but they are well worth the cost. I think you ultimately get what you pay for.

Ron and Ray were great! They were able to accommodate me the same week, which wonderful due to the rapidly changing weather. I am a very picky person and I'm very pleased with the quality of their work. I will definitely hire them again.

They didn't finish the work as described. I had to leave for work on the day of work completion so I gave them a check for full payment when I came I found the inside of the garage was not painted. I called Ronbo but he didn't address my concern instead he was very evasive giving a lot of excuses and even said "whatever" at some point in our conversation. Job ok but bad customer relations. Not recommended.

Bought a deal but could not schedule because had commercial jobs. Got a refund but a waste of time buying a deal that cannot be fulfilled by the company

I was pleased with the work done. Anthony & Abi worked diligently for about 8 hours. I was impressed that they removed hardware and replaced after painting completed. One of my concerns was that the painters would follow recommendations received from Marvin windows. The owner of Ronbo took the paint formula given to me by installers (ReVisions Windows) and purchased Benjamin Moore paint. Results are a perfect match of.old and new windows. The painters replaced blinds and cleaned the areas where painting was done. Anthony had knowledge of how to remove windows for cleaning, He cleaned the outside of one section of a new widow which I appreciated. Both workers seemed to take pride in what they accomplished.

They did a wonderful job, and the whole process went very smoothly. Only disadvantage was the long wait (not their fault they are just so popular and busy, and now I see why), and they did let me know at the very start to expect a four week wait before the work could be done. But once work started it went like clockwork. Don was a pleasure to work with - he kept me updated, responded promptly to my communications, texted me photos while I was at work when a decision had to be made regarding deck repair, and was unfailingly courteous. He and his team were prompt, had great workmanship, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. If you can afford to wait and want the job done right, you will not regret choosing Ronbo's.

They do great work! They are worth every penny we've ever spent with them! I highly recommend them to any one!

Don did the painting and was very professional and attentive. His work was meticulous. I would hire Ronbo's again if I need any additional painting.

Everyone was incredibly professional and patient and the house looks fantastic!! What stood out about this company was that they stand by their work with a guarantee. From the quotes we received, this was unique.

The crew was very professional. Don was an excellent crew leader. He explained everything they were doing, and was very good at communicating. The crew was very prompt every day. The paint job was excellent. When I pointed out issues, they corrected everything. My only issue was the start date for the project was delayed twice. I was first told they would start in late September, then the week of October 19. The work didn't start until November 2.
