Handyman Pros

We tore down a deck and concrete stairs to install a patio and needed to repair the siding that had been hidden. I needed work done quickly for inspection approval and not hold up the patio. Nick was out the same day to give me a quote and Dane was out the next day to start work. He found some rot behind the siding and we needed to do a bit more extensive repairs than planned. Dane (who was using only one hand due to surgery) was somehow able to do the structural repair and the siding in just 2 days. He did a great job and the new siding looks great with the new patio. I have used Handyman Pros several times and will call them again when I need some work done!

Gary did very well with a tricky installation

The estimate was detailed and concise. Everything wasin writing. Liability insurance given up front. Gary came on time and was professional and respectful of my property. He worked efficiently and the work was done very neatly. I definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

Gary did a beautiful job. There were some challenging accessibility and wiring issues and Gary handled them adeptly.

Excellent. Gary was prompt and efficient with his time. He repaired the drywall and painted over the area with the paint provided. The area looks like new again. Very happy with the results.

It was very easy and fast to schedule. The handyman, Gary, was on time and very pleasant to work with. He fixed all the doors that were broken. He also fixed some small miscellaneous things I needed fixing.

Contractor not interested in the work - suggested I contact an HVAC contractor. I had a local plumber replace the leaking PVC pipe & will replace the bathroom exhaust fan myself. Apparently this contractor, while getting great reviews, has too much work right now.

We are very happy. The Handyman Pro "Gary" was great. He performed the job quickly, efficiently, and professionally. The installed sump pumps work well without any problems.

Responded quickly with a fair price. Work was performed when scheduled.

Gary was great! He assessed each job and remedied the problems. I was totally satisfied and then had a door problem a few days later. I called, Gary was back, and all is well.

Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. They arrived promptly and began work immediately. Part of the soffit on the second floor had come loose. They did a great job. Both men were courteous and professional. I highly recommend Handyman Pro.

Overall good. The one area I wish were different is that pencil marks were placed on the wall to mark positions which I understand however they were erased and it left dirty eraser marks on the white wall which is very noticeable.

Fantastic. This is a dream company. They contacted me immediately after my request for services, they came as scheduled, they went above and beyond to do thoughtful, skilled, quality work, and a couple of weeks later when there was a very minor problem (not anything they did, more weather-related), they came out immediately to touch it up. I recommend them HIGHLY. I was so so pleased.

Went so so. There was an issue with the installation. The company came back out to fix their mistake. The initial install of the chair rail was too low. So the chairs were still hitting the wall and damaging it. They had to come back out to take it down and reinstall. During the take down of the original installation the contractor ripped the top layer of drywall along the entire length of the chair rails. Which damaged the walls. After this company performed the work I needed to pay another contractor to repair the walls that were damaged during this project. The damaging of the walls was not communicated to me during the rework. It was unexpected. During the rework I also had to go buy additional materials and then return unused additional materials. So this project caused me unexpected time having to spend time explaining the mistake, having to make a couple extra trips to the hardware store for materials for rework. As well as unexpected additional costs to pay a drywall contractor to mud and sand the unexpected tears in the wall. This company said the tears were because there was wallpaper that was covered up. However the drywall repair contractor I hired to fix the damage said that was not the case.

Gary did a fantastic job on both projects! Everything looks great and we are very pleased on how well the projects turned out. I would highly recommend Handyman Pros!

Gary arrived on time. Addressed all issues in a professional manner. Courteous, clean and extremely capable. The work on our shed doors is awesome!!! Very very happy with the results!

Very well. I have used this company's services before, always with the same workman, Gary. His work is excellent, he is prompt, responsible, thorough. I found this company through Angie's List, and I am very pleased to have done so. These are the people I will call when I need a reliable handyman. BTW, previous work done included installation of a kitchen faucet, caulking, touchup paint, and installation of a lock for a sliding door.

Pretty well, they had to reschedule due to weather, but he made it out about a week later. At first he thought it would require more work than originally quoted, but then was able to get it done without any further issues.

Gary was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. He installed the covers quickly and thoroughly. He reinstalled some loose siding and even added some fasteners to ensure the siding wouldn’t come loose again.

The man that arrived, Dane, was not the person that gave the estimate so he didn’t do the job right. Ken gave the estimate. Dane was in a hurry. He screwed one set of shutters right over the trim that he was to paint, then tried to charge me $150 for unscrewing them and moving them to the right place. He obviously didn’t read the estimate that Ken gave. I had to then speak to Ken to get this charge dropped. Dane was in a hurry because he had to pick up someone from the airport. I didn’t need to know that. Their receptionist cut me off multiple times while I was talking to her on the phone. I used post it notes to label the shutters so Dane would know where each one went on the house. He left the post it notes on the shutters. He didn’t have scaffolding so he had to install the shutters from the inside of my house by removing the full screens. I could have done that myself! This was a very unprofessional company with zero customer care.

The repair went fine, with the job not considered finished until I was satisfied with the results.

I was very happy with all aspects of the job. Coordination up front, the workmanship, cleanup. I would definitely rehire for other work.

The door track is not level and the door will not stay open.
