Provider did an average job. The caulk bead was not a very smooth bead and rather rough in places. Provider did not do a very good job of cleaning up. Old caulk was on the floor and bathroom rug.

Handyman Nick worked to prepare via email, was able to find the matching wood after extra effort, spent the extra time to perfectly match the cuts and helped set up deterrents requested. Great work! Thanks!

What a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I found Handyman Pros on Angie's List. First, I was in a pretty desperate situation with water leaking from some rotted shower tiles to the unit below mine, and Handyman Pros was one of the few companies that was able to send someone quickly to do an estimate. Nick's estimate was by far the most thorough, and it was also the least expensive. He provided three different options for me to consider based on my budget. I appreciated that. Once we agreed to do the work Igor showed up on time (an hour early, actually), and got right to work. He was friendly and personable, and he also contacted me right away when he encountered a couple of unexpected problems while working. Due to circumstances beyond his control he wasn't able to finish the job as quickly as we had hoped, but he came back within a couple of days and completed the work. The drywall repair for the unit below was done a few days later, and again, everything looks great. So thumbs up for the outstanding service at a very reasonable price. Special praise also goes to Donna at the office. I had to call in several times because I had a lot of questions about the materials I needed to purchase for the jobs, and she was so kind and friendly and got back to me quickly on issues that required her to consult with the handyman. I really appreciate her help. If I encounter another home improvement need, I will know who to call. (By the way, be sure to make use of the coupon they offer for Angie's List customers.)

It worked out just fine. It ended up being a larger project than we'd bargained for but the worker who came out went above and beyond to fix the problem.

Arrived on time. Had to leave to purchase some materials. Later, had to purchase an extender because because not purchased. Took longer than planned. Did a thorough job.

Initially, I thought it was good, but now the caulk is coming off. Scheduling was fine and they were professional. The technician who came out was here for an hour. I would not use them again if they sent the same person.

Gary is always on time starting at 8 a.m. every morning. Extremely detailed and professional on the job. End result is great, great, great! Highly recommend!

Gary arrived on time and quickly got to work on the fans. He was very good at getting the vents just right even though the access to the work was quite limited.

They did a really nice job on the bathroom. The main reason I didn't give an A across the board was their timeliness on some days and what days they would show up. Also the area they were working in ( garage and basement) was a huge mess which got tracked throughout the house when they walked from garage to basement. We ended up doing all the cleanup because we couldn't stand the mess like that for 3 weeks.

Chris arrived exactly on time. I showed him what I needed and how I wanted it done. He took a few measurement and did exactly what I asked for. He was pleasant and professional all the way. He gave me a range of prices and we ended up with the lowest. We were able to find the extra piece of wood needed in my garage and he was able to re-use the shelf itself. I could not have asked for anything better.

Igor did a beautiful job. Tiles look like new. Very satisfied.

After the review below, Handyman Pros came back to house to install an new attic door and ladder. They refunded the extra $255 charge. After signing up for the Big Deal, I received an email from Handyman Pros setting up the appointment time and reminding me I am required to buy the attic ladder for the job. No further instructions or information was provided. So, I measured my existing ladder and went and bought the same size attic ladder. When the workers came, I showed them the ladder I bought and they said "it would work". What they meant was, I bought the wrong style ladder, but they would "make it work". So, instead of telling me I bought the wrong style ladder, they decided to reconstructed the attic entrance to fit the ladder I bought. The attic entrance is now smaller than the Hvac unit in the attic and they charged me an additional $255 to make attic entrance smaller. I spent a total of $451 for this. The lack of communication is unforgivable. Obviously, I would never use Handyman Pros again.

Job was supposed to begin on the 11th and finish that same week. Igor and Gary arrived prepared to do the work. Unfortunately, when they opened the package containing the shower base, it was a right drain and it should have been a left drain, so they couldn't go any further. In addition, when they pulled out the old shower stall, we discovered that the floor underneath was rotted out and had to be replaced. Apparently the handyman we hired to put in that shower (about 25 years ago) was not as professional as we had thought. We received the correct shower base on Saturday, the 15th. Fortunately, Handyman Pros was able to schedule Igor and Gary to come back the following Monday morning. They fixed the floor, put down the new floor tile, and installed all the new items. We asked Igor if he would install a new exhaust fan. He had time so we called the office to add that to the job cost. There, too, the job wasn't as simple as we had thought due to the age of the original fan and the way it was installed. We were given the opportunity to see the job as it progressed and Igor had sound advice when we had questions or decisions to make. They were both punctual and pleasant throughout the week in spite of the problems that arose. The completed bathroom is beautiful. We are very pleased. We were also pleased with the cost. We got three quotes and Handyman Pros pricing allowed us to add a new vanity and toilet when our original plan was just to replace the shower. Part of the savings is because we ordered the items ourselves and had it delivered to our home. That worked well for us. We will definitely call Handyman Pros for future work. The office was pleasant and helpful, too, so it was a good experience all around.

I did not call him back after the estimate because of financial reasons, but the experience we had was perfect. I had the impression that it was expensive for me, but it may be perfect for the market or it can be cheap. He was totally professional with the right attitude and customer service skills, and most probably absolutely the right company to do the job. It was a real pleasure to meet such people like him. I have a very, very positive impression on all the services through Angie's List, and I trust it because it has ratings that are most objective.

It looks and smells great - as though the leak never happened.
