Handyman Pros

Pre-work communications with Handyman Pros was good, and the work estimate was done professionally and communicted clearly to us. The work was carried out efficiently, quickly, and with no residual mess of any type. The cost was the same as estimated, and the work was done on schedule. We had initially thought that we might need the panelling replaced, but, confirming the estimate, Ken was able to trim the piece down (without totally removing it), and then attached it to the wall so that it should not be a problem again in the future. The installation of the handrails also went smoothly, and Ken was careful to check that they were sturdily mounted on the walls. We were very pleased with Ken's work ethic, and his conscientious concern for getting the jobs done quickly and correctly. Based on the work done for us, we would highly reommend Handyman Pros, and Ken in particular, to anyone looking for this type of assistance. We will use them again in the future.

Absolutely perfect! They came out and did what they said they would. Everything was done right.

He arrived on time, installation of exhaust vent appears to be done well and area was cleaned up well. However, the handyman talks to himself constantly and often is complaining about job when doing so. Another time while talking to someone on the phone he mentioned he just dropped a sponge down the vent. As this vent was upstairs - I don't think he ever recovered it. He said to me he didn't want to "besmirch the person that painted the bathroom before BUT they left paint on baseboard and bathtub". But then he also left paint on the bathtub. He asked that I inspect the painting job before he left but as I pointed out to him the paint was still wet and you can better judge when dry. Wet it looked fine but when paint dried you can still see some streaks of primer underneath. It was not a horrible paint job, just looks like it would if I painted it myself (non expert) and I was expecting better if I paid to have it done and didn't expect to have to fix spots that were missed. I also asked him to provide a quote on some additional work needed. He jotted down what need to be done and took pictures but 10 days later and I have not heard back.

The job was ti restore wall paneling and sheet rock after a water leak was repaired. The job was completed quickly (about 2 hours) and expertly. Looks as good as new.

It was great! Gary was nice, and efficient, and did an excellent job on everything. I highly recommend them.

Had a good experience. Gary came over and took care of what we needed to fix. I felt like he was meticulous in the details and making sure the job was done right, and he answered my questions patiently. Price was more than fair given the time he spent completing the work. The "B" grade for responsiveness was more a communication issue with the office. When scheduling the appointment, I was given a window of 8-9am. I had requested that someone comes after 8:30 so I can get my kids on the school bus. I was assured that would not be a problem but I don't think that message was passed on to Gary, who came at 8:05 when I was walking out with my kids. Also it seemed like I should have gotten an email confirming details prior to the appointment day, which I didn't receive. Besides these glitches in communication, everything worked out smoothly and I would consider using Handyman Pros again.

Good patchwork and very nice paint job. Very high quality. Very professional, got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and it looks great.

We had a leaky kitchen faucet that was old. Our experienced handyman was able to remove the difficult OLD faucet and replace it with a new one. This is not a job we could have done ourselves and were happy when the job was done successfully.

I was quoted an initial price of $350 to repair a portion of a fence surrounding a deck. This was to include materials already on site as well as additional material need to complete the job that the carpenter was to obtain and bring to the job. I did not get the estimate in writing (my error). The initial job was completed but a portion was left undone. I called and asked that the carpenter return to complete the job as discussed and asked that he also repair an additional small portion of the fence immediately adjacent to the portion he had left undone. I expected an additional bill of $100-$150 to compete this additional repair. When the job was finally completed almost 2 weeks late, I received a total bill of almost $850! They did not even offer me the $50 discount that the Angie's list referral was supposed to include. The work itself was completed however the quality was fair at best and the carpenter did not even clean up the job site when he was done. This was left to me. I do not recommend this company.

It looks fantastic and Ken showed up on time , was very personable and answered all of our questions. Definitely would recommend him to others.

I have used handyman pros several times in the past. Every person they have sent has been great and they are quick to respond. They are expensive if you call for only minor items but, after struggling with slow/no response from others, i have come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for. Nick is great for estimating and I LOVE Dan, one of their handymen. The guys i have met (i think 3 different guys now) are actually true pros and know lots about lots. They just get it done. Love these guys, despite the cost. Worth it when you need no bull, just done.

Handyman Pros saved the day! We had a bit of an emergency — we had taken down an old bathroom fan and tried to replace it with a new one, but it was beyond our DIY expertise. We had company arriving and a hole in our bathroom ceiling. I tried calling several electricians, but none were available. I then stumbled upon Hanyman Pros in Angie’s List. When I called, I spoke with Donna, who was SO helpful and kept calling different people until she found one that could come out the next morning (which was a Saturday). Ken came out on time, scoped out what needed to be done, went to the nearest hardware store for parts we needed, and finished the job perfectly. I will definitely be calling them again!
