They are wonderful! They installers were funny, respectful of our home and even were here on time. Find that some where else. Small issue with seam coming apart at the taped line but are fixing it in just 3 more days! Thank you HomeAdvisor and fellow reviewers!! You made my choice in who to choose for carpeting easy. Will use Empire Today again for the rest of the houses floors!

They did pretty good work

Empire did nothing but sell and install the cheapest, lowest grade carpet in my home. Do not be fooled by the ease of shopping at home. The salesman has You cornered; you cannot leave and you are pressured into buying the best grade at the lowest prices. I am using quotes because neither of these claims was true. The installation was horrendous. When we called to voice our concern someone came out and found nothing wrong with the installation. We had plenty of opportunities to call them back starting a month after installing. We were told to vacuum more frequently the first few months (every other day was what we tried.). When that did not resolve the matted carpet look and feel, a few months after the installation we were told to have it Professionally cleaned which would improve not only the wear but also the mounds of bunched up the carpet in each room. The back and forth continued conveniently (went back and forth in a relentless game of phone tag and being transferred,) until the warranty period was exceeded and then there was nothing they could do. Empire did NOTHING but sell me subgrade carpet and take my money.

I was impressed by the quality of work and the speed by which it was completed

flooring was a little pricey but we did pick the higher end laminate. Great customer service. Floors were installed and finished in one day. Living room and Kitchen.

Everything was on time and on budget

I tried to get ahold of the sales man over and over again . The installer said he was not going to put the trim down yet I still payed for it . There was a lot of carpet left which tell me I payed for a lot more than I needed . It measured 12 by 15 left enough to do a large size room .

The installers did a great job installing the floors, they let me know exactly how they were going to go about the process. However, their clean-up process could be better. They left my furniture in the room as the cut and installed the floors. So there was dust all over my furniture which took me about 40 minutes to clean. At the end they didn't dust up the floor so I had to get a dust mop and get all of that up too.

The guys who installed the laminate came on time and did a terrific job. The company didn't send the right amount of carpet to finish the job.

The salesman messed up on the layout of the floorplan and the installers almost ran out of laminate. Also, the direction of the planks was not as planned.

Fast install kept most promises still never returned with a room divider

They were fast, neat, professional, timely and appreciative of our business.

Didn't think we'd go with a national company but Shawn the salesman talked a sweet deal and provided higher quality carpet for same price as local company. Shawn was very friendly, courteous and out to get us a great deal which he did! Communication wasn't the best when calling the St. Louis corporate office, that's why the "4". We couldn't get ahold of Shawn and had to leave a 24 hr inquiry for a manager to call. Representative was nice and trying to help but we had a last minute question before installation and we needed action now. Manager didn't call. We were able to reach Shawn the next day and he took care of our concerns immediately. The 2 man carpet installation team were prompt and friendly and professional. Job took less than 7 hours instead of day and a half as scheduled. Rafael did an amazing job carpeting the stairs. 3 bedrooms and big closets look great too. They also cleaned up very well. They moved several pieces of furniture and 2 beds and nothing damaged. This is the first time we've had carpet installed and we were very pleased, especially since we didn't think we'd go with a national company. We were first concerned that installers were sub-contractors but we couldn't ask for anything more. Great experience!!!

The floor installers took longer to complete the job than expected.

Sales person was professional. Installation team was great would recommend empire to anyone.

Installation was to be done on 2/28/18 so we get my wife's sister to be here when the installers arrived my wife and I had a doctors appointment that morning but would be back by 10:am, when the guy from empire came out to measure the area and give us a price on the type of floor we wanted, after all was agreed to he forgot to mention that the installers must be paid before they start laying the floor , so my sister law called my wife and told what the installer said she asked to speak with the person in charge after all was cleared up the installer did not even have all the material that they needed to do the job so they just left. we did not have our floor installed until the next day, by a two different and even better installer's the floor is beautiful thank to the second group of installer's
