I contracted with Empire on 10/25/16 to install a bathroom floor. To date 11/20 they cancelled the installation twice, now set for 11/30 Over one month after having contracted with them. If they will not install on 11/30 I will cancel the order, requesting refund of my deposit. Awful service. You probably should remove them from your recommended list.

You must double check work prior to them leaving, impossible to get them back to fix problems.

First they cancelled sales appointment with little notice. Then Mike came out another day and we worked up a nice porcelain tile for my laundry room and bathroom. I cleared my work day and removed everything in prep for their coming. Then they cancelled with half a day's notice in a voicemail. They are flaky! They are not trustworthy! They have no physical presence. No storefront at all. Buyer beware! Do not use these people. You will regret it.

The sales representative, Mike Saeri, was on time and made the selection of carpet quick and easy. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to sell me a higher priced carpet. The installers were prompt and courteous, and installed the carpet quickly.

Easy and simple

I was happy with the look of the floor. The only problem was that we had some communication issues due to language barrier. They installed the new linoleum over the old instead of tearing up the old stuff, but they could not explain why they were doing so. Other than that, it was a great experience.
